Holiday houses in Smithfield

3/25-3/29 2025 This was a birthday trip for a set of 10 year old twins and let me just say, our trip couldn’t have been better. From the moment we walked inside and saw the extra special touches that were waiting for the girls with the balloons and sweet message written on the fridge. The home felt very homey and clean. It was everything that was described. We spent our days at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum (which we highly recommend doing both) and this beautiful home is right in between both places so it wasn’t a very far drive. After long days of walking, it was so nice to be able to come back and relax in the hot tub. There was also what we assumed to be the sweetest neighborhood cat that came to visit us each day, which the kids loved. Overall this was a wonderful trip that we all enjoyed very much. We didn’t have any problems or issues so we had no reason to contact the host (Julie) but there’s no doubt in my mind that if we did need to she would’ve responded promptly.

The house was beautiful and exactly what was described. We messed up and locked ourselves out and they took care of that very quickly for us. Very nice area in downtown. When we go back again we will see if it is available and book there again. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our time here. It’s very convenient to all the Louisville attractions. Check and process was very easy and the house was very clean. There were great restaurants nearby. In a very friendly neighborhood. Johlandi was very responsive, she is an excellent host.

Daniel was very helpful with accommodating my family. The place was just as described and super nice. Lots of local restaurants and shops close by

The house was very nice and clean in quite neighborhood. The bedding was very comfortable. It was more comfortable than staying at a hotel. And our hostess (Deanna) was very friendly and helpful.

Our group of 9 adults had a wonderful long weekend at Seth’s house! It rained (and rained some more) so we were inside a lot and never felt crowded. Everyone had their own space. It was a great house, exactly as described. We hope to come back soon!

We had a great time! Our first impression was "so pleased" & that describes our stay. Loved the peace & quiet, but we were so close to places we wanted to visit. Very clean. Plenty of seating. We had family over for a meal. Impressed with the amount & variety of spices, etc. that were provided. Having the use of the garage was a bonus. We did fine with Wi-Fi & TV streaming which for us was a miracle! It was a wonderful homecoming & we look forward to a return visit.
