Beachfront holiday rental in Smith Beach

We have stayed in a lot of airbnbs in Ocean View and this was one of our favorites. The easy Beach access is great. The amenities of the apartment are well chosen. The apartment is clean and well maintained and the host responds quickly to messages. The view of the water and the beach from the living room and one of the bedrooms is hard to beat.

Perfect spot for a beach getaway! Host was super responsive and willing to help with every single question and request. The location was ideal for many reasons but top 2 - right by the highway but not close enough for extreme noise. Clean, well-equipped space with everything we needed. Even perfect for a night in by the fire pit. Loved Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for our family! The game area was a huge hit with the kids—they had so much fun! The large dining table was ideal for our growing family, making meals and quality time together easy and comfortable. Highly recommend for family stays!

The house was the perfect size for my wife and me for our weekend in Virginia Beach! Located far enough away from the bustle of the tourist areas to create a measure of peace, the home offered us convenient access to both Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The home was clean, organized, and welcoming when we arrived, as well as being stocked with all the conveniences of home!

This is a lovely house within easy walking distance of the heart of Cape Charles. We loved being able to walk to the New Year’s Eve Crab Pot drop on Mason St. The house is comfortable and charming with a great kitchen. It was quiet even though it was so close to the main hub of activity in Cape Charles.

Excellent home. Was attached to another dwelling but felt very private as no one was next door during our stay. Host was very accommodating, neighbors extremely friendly. Lots of dogs being walked in the surrounding area. Roads very safe to go for an extended walk. Winds coming off the water surprisingly strong at times; was impressed at how secure the house seemed during stormy winds. Best part of the stay was being right on the water of the river/bay.

Our second time staying at the home was just as great as the first. Very spacious clean home with a nice fenced in yard. Very convenient location and access to the beach as well.

Marvelous property! Our family had a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving at Oyster Shell Cottage. Plenty of room for our large gang in this spacious and immaculately appointed cottage. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup, and the screened porch was glorious. The kids enjoyed the dock and fire pit. All of the bedrooms were comfy and cozy. Of special note was the enormous shower in the master bedroom on the ground floor! The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed. Highly recommend Oyster Shell Cottage for your family’s vacation or get away!

The Clark Construction team enjoyed the offsite bonding, efficiency, and great Cape Charles fishery with local guide Clint Lessard on Sho-Nuf Charters. Great time all around and plenty of fish were caught. Hoping to return next year. The Coastal Soul AirBnB was immaculate. Perfect setup for multiple people, well appointed kitchen and seating areas, and great hosts. Thankful for all involved.

My husband and I visited for our 7 year anniversary. It was peaceful and beautiful. We also loved getting in the wood fired sauna! This place is a dream and we cannot wait to come back!

Blue Belle was a fun and roomy place to spend a long weekend with our family! It’s in a great area and was easy to get anywhere you wanted to go in Cape Charles. We rented a golf cart but it wasn’t in the best of shape. That’s not Doug’s fault but that of the rental company. Therefore, we didn’t really use it as much as we would have liked. Doug was prompt in getting the washing machine repaired and it was needed. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing the ring on a string game on the back porch and walk to the beach nearby. I recommend staying here!

Beautiful view of the bay. This spot gave my nomadic soul a weekend recharge much needed. Love the old camper restoration that made the adventure feel authentic.

This place was exactly what we were looking for and more. Eric and Elizabeth are AWESOME hosts, we had a few minor issues and they wasted no time to resolve them to make our stay perfect. The pool was great and the beaches were close. Perfect vacation we are definitely going back..!

This was our second stay and it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds were the best part and so comfortable. A beautiful view and private beach area. And Ashley is a very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely consider staying here again.

What a lovely weekend stay, it was exactly what we wanted! The house was spotless and beautifully furnished. The beds and linens were comfortable and clean and the kitchen was STOCKED. It made cooking meals in super easy. Not to mention the view was absolutely stunning. Hosts were wonderful and extremely responsive. I would absolutely return and recommend to others!

What a fantastic place! I came from Pennsylvania to visit with family. Katie’s place was a great spot for them to come visit. We cooked out on the grill and the kids played in the water and on the beach. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is fully stocked with everything you could think of and labeled! The best part was watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee on the covered porch. It was so peaceful. Oh! And of course watching the dolphins play! I really hope we can come back again in the future, we had the absolute best time! Thank-you Katie and Tim for everything!

Extremely well appointed, and everything worked wonderfully.

The cottage in Reedville is a special find. We fell in love with the location, the cottage and the town of Reedville. We got to see the November, super moon for several nights and beautiful sunrises in the morning. We also saw a bald eagle and a swan swimming at the waters edge. We also had a delicious meal at one of the local restaurants. Andrea is a super host in all ways. Our experience at the cottage was second to none. We’re looking forward to going back.

I was there during the polar vortex (winter, snow) in January. Someone came by and cleared the front steps. Heat worked great, warmed the place up quickly every evening, even in the brutal cold. Plenty of parking. Washer and dryer looked new but I did not need to use them. I loved the faux fireplace (led lights + electric heat) especially since it was brutally cold.

This is my 3rd year staying at one of Lynn’s properties. It is in an amazing location very close to the reason/location that I visit each year. I love the home and plan to book here once a year every single year when ai visit the area. Great host, great home, and great location.
