The Old Goose House, Cosy converted barn

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Our stay at Michael's place was just perfect. It's a beautiful, restored barn in the countryside with everything that you need. The house was perfectly clean and very well equipped with amenities including coffee, tea and even cookies and fresh milk. We had been traveling non stop for almost a week so it was lovely to sit in the living room with a fire in the fireplace for one full afternoon. There are numerous footpaths that you can access for walks right at the end of the driveway. Our questions and requests were responded to almost immediately and instructions were very clear. We hope to be able to return one day, as we have friends who live within a 5 minute drive.

Spacious and modern three bedroom garden house

RobynRating, 5 stars14 months ago
A wonderful place to use as a base for our week long trip to London to visit family in the area. Spacious and comfortable, had all amenities needed to feel like a home away from home. Had plenty of space for 4 adults and a child so that we didnt feel like we were on top of each other but all had our own space. Hosts were fantastic and left great instructions and information about the area. Very near public transport and an easy access to walking/running trails in the Wetlands to help keep the guilt of Holiday season over indulgence at bay.

We had a fantastic stay at Andrew’s place! The accommodation was exactly as shown in the photos—beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The location was stunning, offering both privacy and a peaceful atmosphere while still being convenient for exploring the area. Andrew was an excellent host—very helpful and responsive, providing great recommendations that made our trip even better. Thanks to his advice, our travels went smoothly, and we truly enjoyed our time. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay again in the future!

Beautiful home, perfect place to stay. The garden is absolutely amazing. Claire Marie was very welcoming, made us feel at home. Went out of her way to ask if we needed anything. Generally a lovely, friendly host. I would highly recommend to stay here. Everything was perfect and it made our weekend.

Welcoming and Radiant - Lovely & Family Friendly!

FarrahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Slone’s place was the right fit for our impromptu London Christmas vacay. We wanted something with space for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to be comfortable after long days of sight seeing, near a variety of restaurants and a public transportation. Sloan’s flat fit the bill to a tee. We had plenty of space. Very clean accommodations. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Plenty of seating. Lots of restaurants surrounding. The location is a bit off the beaten path but close enough to the touristy attractions (about 40 mins to Central London by bus). The bus station is literally 5 minutes away. The 29 took us through Islington and Camden before hitting central London. Felt like our own private hop-on-hop off transportation. The flat is a split level so be prepared for stairs. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.
