The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

We spent an extended weekend with 9 adults and 2 small children (5 and 1 year old) in the house of Christiaan and Olaf and could not have asked for a better place to stay:). You feel like you are with guests to friends, not in a vacation home. The rooms are very cozy and lovingly furnished. We were particularly enthusiastic about the large living room with fireplace and the incredibly well equipped kitchen. Great was also the quiet location in the middle of the countryside, right from the house you can take nice walks. We will be happy to come back!

I enjoyed two very comfortable nights. Ate at some great local restaurants and hiked to the nearby Abbey.

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have ever vacationed in. A wonderful old house that really offers everything you need. There's nothing missing, and the feel-good factor by the fireplace in the evening is simply unbeatable. The surroundings are beautiful, and from the kitchen window we could watch the bisons in the pasture. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We were kindly received and immediately received a lot of information about the region. There was coffee, water, tea, etc. ready for us. The cottage was bigger than expected and was very clean. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The few questions we had were also answered directly.

The witch's cottage is really quite enchanting and decorated with a lot of imagination. There is everything you need, from coffee to sweets and a bottle of wine to various basic foodstuffs, etc. And despite lush decor, everything is sparkling clean and well maintained. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve stay at this great located house in the Eifel! The accommodation was not only spotlessly clean, but also provided everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We were particularly enthusiastic about the converted barn, which was equipped with a dart game, pool table, foosball and air hockey – a real highlight for the whole family and friends! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms clean and well maintained. The quiet location in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Eifel has perfectly rounded off our stay. Perfect for hikes in the Eifel. A big thank you to the host Christoph, who was very friendly and accommodating. We will be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

The accommodation was cozily furnished, the sofa was lovely and we were able to rest well in the bed. The wood stove was very pleasant and there was plenty of wood ready for us. We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Georg was exceptionally warm, welcomed us with a warm welcome and was always available for questions and concerns. We are regularly with Jakob for our university attendance days. The apartment is well appointed, always clean, check-in flexible with a key code and the contact is always very friendly. We were very satisfied this time again 😊

Ruth offers great service. A top host. The kitchen is completely complete, even with oil, a pack of spaghetti. She had a bottle of bubbles and came to bring us eggs. Great place with our dog. You walk right into the fields to let it out and an end to walk. Recommend.

I stayed with my partner for the weekend in winter, at arrival eva made sure the fireplace was already working so that it was nice warm when we arrived. Everything resembled the pictures just the bathroom is small but the bath is still perfect like the photos. The kitchen was good eqquiped and overall eveything whent great. Surrounded by nature and animals.

We bad a wonderfull stay. Its the perfect place for star gazing if the sky is clear. we got some nice clicks of the galaxy from the surrounding medows. There are many hiking spots near. The host was very responsive and friendly. The checkin is mentioned as self checking, but there is also a time limit (3pm - 8pm) mentioned and the host was waiting for us. So we had to rush a bit to reach on time. Other than this everything else was as explained in the description.
