Family-friendly holiday rentals in Simpson Bay

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cliff and it was everything we remembered and more. the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Someone is always cleaning or doing some sort of maintenance to the property to keep it pristine! the pool renovation is beautiful and a fantastic spot to watch the sunsets. the beach is easily accessible and virtually private with very little interruptions other than some boats passing by. the pictures dont do this place justice. my husband made use of the spa amenities everyday with the sauna and steam room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and beach -he essentially had a hydrotherapy circuit routine every morning. this apartment itself is well maintained and was exactly as advertised. our favorite spot was on the balcony enjoying the perfect views of the ocean. We have so many spots on the island close by as far as restuarants and two grocery/markets. there are also many rest. in a close drive. when we come back to St Martin, i'm staying here again!

Staying at Joe’s place was by far the best decision for an airbnb in St. Maarten. Between a beautiful private beach off The Cliff, an awesome infinity pool, and wide patio with a view of- I couldve stayed there the whole time and been content with the trip. The near by restaurants, grocery stores and things to do less than a mile or so drive made everything so convenient. Will certainly be coming back!

Wonderful location in Simpson Bay. It is walking accessible to everything in the area.

My sisters and I stayed at this amazing Airbnb for my birthday, and we absolutely loved it! The place was spotless, with a breathtaking view that made our stay even more special. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to respond, making everything seamless. It was the perfect spot to celebrate, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 3 couples that planned this trip for a year and our first stop was the luxurious condo Le Papillon! The refrigerator was stocked with welcome beverages which were well needed after our journey from Norway🥂 There were shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. We walked down the beach to Mary’s Boon for breakfast and enjoyed dinner at Beirut. The rooftop terrace was fantastic for working out, dancing, waving at the planes overhead, enjoying the hot tub, people watching or taking an afternoon siesta😎 We were fortunate to meet Liz (taxi), a lovely woman, who was available to drive us around day and night. Everyone we met were friendly and the atmosphere was chill. Last but not least, Simone was a top host; quick to answer questions, positive and helpful. We were sad to leave this wonderful abode, but it was a perfect start to our further adventures in the BVI. Thank you for your hospitality. Until next time…🤙🏼

Great location, host and overall experience.

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and an easy walk to the beach and amenities there. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds comfy. Loved the outdoor shower and use of jacuzzi. Veronique was very helpful and proactive with instructions. 💗

We recently returned from our vacation at Princess Heights where we throughly enjoyed the beautiful views and hospitality we experienced during 10 day stay. After having some difficulty finding the resort( St Maarten has almost no street signs or route numbers) we were very impressed with this resort. The rooms and kitchen were updated and very well cared for. The ocean view from our balcony was beautiful. We used the pool frequently which was never crowded as we were able to find beach chairs easily. We swam almost daily as the pool was kept clean, was quite large and the water temperature was comfortable. The staff at this resort was terrific, very responsive to any concerns and we found them to be quite respectful. Although there some really good restaurants/bars close by it would have been nice to have one on site. This resort is gated which added to the feeling of security we felt during our stay which is important when you are away in a foreign country. Highly recommend this reso

Aurelie's place was really nice and spotless. The location was ideal and at the center of it all. The beach, restaurants, a grocery store, a bakery and even a spa were at walking distance from the apartment. Aurelie was responsive to all of our inquiries. We would definitely stay there again.

Denis was the best host we’ve had at any Airbnb. He picked us up at the airport, provided some wine & fruit, and was extremely helpful and responsive. When our coffee maker stopped working he brought a replacement immediately. We were very impressed with Denis!!!

Beautiful Airbnb on Orient Bay. The covered balcony was our favourite part of the place, with a beautiful ocean view and lots of space. The location is terrific, only a few minute walk into the main square where you can find restaurants, bars, groceries, etc. Our host was very responsive and flexible with our requests. I would recommend!

Jean Pierre is kind and helpful. helped me to carry the luggages upon check in and check out. The entrance is on a beach and have some stairs which would have been difficult without the help of Jean Pierre! the place is modern and well furnished and have everything you need. the view is spectacular and the beach is right in front so you can hear the sound of the sea while in the apartment. I love that! Its perfect for one person or a couple and I will be back again to my lovely St.Maarten and stay at this place if its available.

Damiens Apartment is situated in a former hotel, now residence area, so its very quiet. there is direct access to the beach, but while we were there there were a lot of algae, so walking till to the beach chairs and bars took about 15-20min walking on the beach. If you drive its about 10 min drive away to the main square of the beach with all the restaurants and the beach bars. directly at the grounds is a pizzeria which is great for your first day, when you dont havr the energy to go anywhere and still get food. Two other good restaurants are a 2-5 min by car and the supermarket is also just about 5 min away by car and no matter where you are going you always pass the supermarket, so its convenient that its on the way. Contact with Damien was good, he always replied fast. At the beginning we would have wished for a little bit better communication about the water cuts due to a break in the water facility on the french side, but after we asked he sent us to links to newspapers where we could look up the times ourselves. You definitely need a car and there was enough parking space on the grounds. overall we enjoyed our stay at Damiens apartment!

We stayed at Villa Azur for 2 weeks and had a great time. The villa’s location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities we needed. It’s a quick drive to orient bay and near many restaurants, grocery stores. We had no trouble communicating with Guylene and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Incredible incredible incredible!!!!! This place felt like a perfect little home away from home. It was thoughtfully decorated and cleaned and it an unbeatable location. You could close the shutters on the door and window and you felt complete privacy and no outside noise. It is directly next to a really nice grocery and my husband and I walked to dinner every night because there’s about 8 restaurants right along the same street. Walked to cupecoy and mullet every night for sunset because it was so close. Kathy is so caring and provides drinks and an amazing list of island suggestions that were really helpful!! STAY HERE NOW!!! I have stayed in big resorts there and this beats it I PROMISE!

Our family vacation at Villa Tropicale was an absolutely enjoyable experience ! Our hosts Claude and Monique treated us like family. We arrived to a bolognese pasta meal the night of our arrival after Claude welcomed us to his beautiful home. We were surprised to find a refrigerator stocked with cold drinks, beautiful cheese tray and the groceries to make breakfast the following morning. The surprises did not stop there! Claude charmed us one morning with fresh French pastries, croissants and baguettes. Claude also prepared a delicious paella meal on the night of our choice which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was beautiful and refreshing and outside area was relaxing and perfect for our family. We ate all our meals at the outside dining table. The beach was beautiful and secluded and just a short walk away. We enjoyed preparing meals in the fully stocked kitchen with cooking supplies and spices provided. Thank you Claude and Monique for your hospitality!

You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s steps away from some of the best beach bars in Orient Bay. The house has a lovely deck on the 2nd floor with great views of the water and hills. Very peaceful. And there were some very thoughtful welcome amenities provided at checkin. Overall a great stay.

Perfect little villa (actually much bigger than we expected), located in the best neighbourhood of St-Maarten, and managed by a true Superhost!

La Casita Villa was worth every penny! Peter is an amazing host, and truly thought of everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could need including a coffee maker, French press, blender, bottle opener, etc. And even the finer details have been thought of - for example, there is a cooler that they provide to allow you to bring things to the beach and keep cold. Peter was extremely responsive throughout our stay, and very resourceful. We had a maintenance issue with the fridge and Peter immediately had someone there to fix it. The Airbnb itself is stunning. We travelled with 3 couples and we each had our own room, 2 of which had ocean views. It’s the perfect mix of privacy with each room being separated from one another, while still allowed for the most fun and entertainment in the common areas. We spent a lot of time outside under the new gazebo because we could not get enough of the view! The pool overlooking the ocean at sunset is one we will never forget.

I left a piece of my ♥️ in St Martin and can’t wait to travel back and absolutely stay at Cyrille’s again!!! Stunning views, comfy seats everywhere, inside and out, including the mattress☺️. Air conditioning inside if needed. The kitchen is so well stocked, you will be amazed. With a wonderful French market just down the street, preparing a scrumptious meal for dining on the deck was delightful🥰 Thanks Cyrille, see you soon😏

Beautiful villa with stunning ocean views, Located on a hill overlooking the bay of Cul-de-sac, Pinel Island and Tintamarre are both visible from the pool deck. The living room is very comfortable for a large living room and with 2 large sofas perfect for holidays for families or groups of friends. There are the best restaurants on the island and very beautiful beaches close to the villa. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. Camille is a great host, she made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay which was the case!! The views are really beautiful!

Thierry’s house was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated, lovely outside space, we loved the little pool ….. it was just perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. Colette who met us was lovely too and very helpful We would return in a heartbeat!!
