Nice place, private, good sauna.

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

Everything was great. The house is beautifully located in a perfect location. Well and tastefully furnished, right on the beautiful lake. Sauna,boat and billiards are also great. Large supermarket (S-market) is not far away. You have your peace and can also do a lot in the area. Matti is a great,likeable and helpful host!Everything was wonderful and we'd love to come back!

We had a great time. My husband and I are traveling with our daughter (10 months old). We felt like at home from the beginning. It was nice to make a fire, grill, go to the sauna and swim in the lake. The house is very quiet and you have a great view from all rooms. The rooms upstairs weren't that big but there's an incredible amount of storage space. Communication with Katja was extremely good. We highly recommend this property.

Tatiana and Stanislav were amazing hosts! they made our stay unforgettable! communication was effective and easy, the location is the closest to paradise, the house better than the pictures and super clean. inside we found everything we needed. The tranquility and the view in this place are unique. the lake view is great! We used the sauna and our hosts even made a hole to the iced-lake so we could swim! unforgettable!! definitely recommend for people that like the nature and are searching for a place to relax!

Beautiful setting, spacious house with everything we could want on a short stay. The mosquito nets on the windows were very useful. Sari was very welcoming and accommodating from the start. When we arrived, she made us feel at home and even baked some fresh blueberry cakes for us. We would highly recommend Sari's holiday home, as it's truly beautiful, comfortable and restful.

The place is even better than the pictures. Beautiful nature and peace of mind make you relax. The kids found frogs and lizards in the yard and were excited. The water is warm and from the end of the dock is a good jumping. Be sure to bring small floats as the beach is deep. There are plenty of outdoor games and things to do in the yard. Inside is a fierce collection of movies to watch. The kids and adults were very comfortable. We already miss back!

Frederic’s cottage by the lake was a perfect getaway - spacious for two plus our dog, well-equipped for cooking, and surrounded by beautiful forests. The highlight was a fantastic Finnish sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day in Savonlinna. Frederic was a friendly and thoughtful host, making our stay seamless. Highly recommended!
