Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Siegen-Wittgenstein

Lovely house tucked away from the main road with private parking. Very close to town, you can easily walk there in under 10 mins and very close to supermarkets and shops. The rooms are large and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Daniela was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

Together with 2 teenagers, I had a nice time in the cottage. Beautiful views and quiet environment. You look out over a valley with hills with mix forests and pastures. We walked in the woods nearby and visited a few small villages. The first day marshmallows made above the campfire. So a good start right away. We also enjoyed the nice, clean and modern cottage and of course the popcorn machine, large TV screen with good sound and the slide. It was hiking weather (cloudy, sometimes rain), so we didn't spend much time in the large garden. A few small remarks. * The detached cottage has neighbors on both sides, but they are well distant. * At the bottom of the valley is a road so you will see a car passing by at a distance * In the house is a separate bedroom and above the living room a semi-open spacious bedroom. The teenagers wanted to sleep separately, so we brought down a mattress with slatted base. (the sofa is not a sofa bed)

We had a great time! The place was very fitting for a quiet family get-away and Ludwig and Gerda were very helpful with making the place comfy for us and our 2,5 year old daughter.

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature, lots of sunlight. House is cozily decorated, you feel right at home. Anything you need is available. Extra effort was made for our small children (baby cot, high chair, stair gate). Close to beautiful hiking trails and only 5 to 10 min drive to other places in Winterberg for skiing/sledding. In the evening enjoyed a campfire and the sauna. Communication with the owners prior to our stay went very smoothly!

What a beautiful AirBnB location! Everything was well cared for. It looks lovely and clean. Above average price-quality ratio. Really everything is available. Totally my taste and completely new. Even a nice area. We thought it was a little too warm at night with the underfloor heating, but that is very personal and something that was really super tasty on arrival. In retrospect, we could have opened a window very easily, but for the fresh noses among us it was useful to know. We really give this location a 10 and big chance that we - if we are in the area - book again.

"La perle rare" indeed!! A beautiful, very tastefully decorated apartment with everything a person needs (and more)! I immediately felt at home. Everything is super clean and pragmatic, "spotless" so to speak and warm. You can breathe, work and sleep wonderfully here. The location is quiet but not lonely and the proximity of an industrial area with shops of all kinds is appreciated. For someone like me who doesn't like to cook, it was a plus that in 5 minutes walking distance there is a great pizzeria where I became a regular guest. Joachim is a very enjoyable and reactive host who cares about the well-being of his guests. I will definitely return soon and I'm looking forward to it. Cornelia

A delightful little cottage with everything you need. Sabine and Andreas were very friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage is equipped with a lot of love for detail, everything you need is there. Highly recommend for two people with dog.

Overall, the stay was very nice! :) Silvia and Bernd gave many tips and were always approachable and very helpful. The place offers everything you need. Through the sauna, we were able to relax well and the pool playing on site was also a lot of fun. All in all great!

We had a wonderful stay in Battenburg! We thought the accommodation was much more pleasant than what the pictures show. Very comfortable beds, very spacious, well equipped kitchen, amazing view, sauna, jacuzzi. We enjoyed the area, and definitely recommend a trip to the deer park (10 min by car), a hike on the trail just outside the house, and the bakery 100 meters down the street. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had three wonderful days in the cozy cabin and highly recommend our stay! Thomas was very friendly and accommodating and gave us many valuable tips on shops and attractions nearby. A highlight was the wood-burning fireplace, which created a great atmosphere on cold evenings. The location is also perfect – numerous shops and bakeries are close by, and there are beautiful forests and hiking trails that invite you to explore. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Many thanks to Thomas!

The contact with Astrid was super pleasant and easy. We had a great, relaxing time at this beautiful home. The house is modern, cozy and fully corresponds to the description. Communication was super easy, and we were very comfortable right from the start. Location is perfect, right in nature and yet only 1.7 km from great restaurants. All around a relaxing stay. With our family (2 boys of 1.5 and 5 years) we enjoyed a week in the beautiful cottage of Sarah and her family. The garden and play area inside made us also come to celebrate holidays ourselves. The beautiful spring weather and 2 days of snow made for a nice first introduction to Winterberg, from both the hiking trails and the slopes. We will definitely come back to this area and maybe to this house. We received another nice tip from Sarah about a playground nearby where we haven't been yet, so it's for next time!

We stayed at this great place for the weekend. It was very clean, nicely decorated and a wonderful way to unplug. The tranquility and the beautiful view make for a very relaxed stay. Anne-Kathrin was very friendly, courteous and always available.

A great place, far from the digital world, especially suitable for the younger generation to appreciate consumption again and not to take for granted. Uwe is a great host and the briefing can't be done better ❤️
