Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Shropshire

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Nice house in fantastic grounds which provided for wonderful runs and walks on private paths each day.

Absolutely fantastic few days. Fiona & Steve are such warm & friendly hosts and were so accommodating during our stay . We loved feeding the pigs and learning about the breed . The views were spectacular and there is a fabulous fenced off space for dogs which meant we could relax. The Arches has quality fixtures and fittings and the jacuzzi bath was a winner. The outdoor space gazebo and fairy lights will be awesome as the weather warms up. Being in a dark sky location the stars are awesome and i used my sky safari app to see the great bear and 4 of the anticipated 7 planets alignment on 28 th February. we walked around Talybont Reservoir and up Pen y fan & Corn du mountains which was exhilarating. A beautiful room in a cosy house with a lpvely host and friendly cats. Andrea was kind to collect me at the station afrer a day of travel i appreciated this very much. Her place is so cosy with a beautiful view. It was wonderful to wake up to snow. Place is well located for country walks. The town is an essy walk also and safe at night. Place is also conveniently located fpr using the bus. Andrea is very helpful.with places to go and pffering her time. Im so glad i picked this place to start my christmas holiday in the peaks.

Just a one night stop, but suited our needs perfectly. We were 'touring' and hoped to get a meal at Jeremy Clarkson's Farmer's Dog - which we did. Pamela was infomrative, friendly and helpful, and the place really was stunning. A proper cotswold cottage! Loved it. Would definitely come again.

Our stay at Ian’s was delightful, we were made very welcome. Our room was large and comfortable, and we had use of a beautiful bathroom just for us. Breakfast was relaxed and we were able to help ourselves to cereals, bread , yogurts, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and fresh orange juice. Ian was on hand to offer advice about walks, places to visit, and was altogether a very friendly helpful host. Thanks very much for your hospitality.

The house was absolutely beautiful and Fiona was an excellent host Super responsive and welcoming, gave recommendations for local places to eat, provided an amazing range of stuff for breakfast (far more choice than I could sample all of on my own). And the description for the listing has plenty of detail making clear it is a family home and in use as such, so you know exactly what the experience will be like. The house is very large and with tonnes of character. I had access to the living room with the fire lit for me and it was lovely and cost. And Fiona was proactive with reaching out, offering food recommendations, gave a tour of the house, living room, where I would be sleeping. Really pleasant and enjoyable time. Thank you for hosting

Our stay was amazing. We had a great rest and everything was more than comfortable. Just one side note is that the postcode in the description is not entirely accurate, so we had to look around to finally find the place. The place is marked on Google maps as Woodside farm.

stayed at Sophie's house for a few days very nice room with own shower room and toilet bed was very comfy felt very homely would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay for three nights. Julianne was really welcoming and helpful and our rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was generous and it was great to have access to the dining room to use in the evening (and other times) when we wanted to. The city centre was easily walkable and it was also easy to get out by car to other places that we wanted to visit.

Annette is a warm, friendly and most interesting host. We loved spending time with her!

I only stayed one night. The 'Shed' was perfect with everything I needed. It was clean, well equiped and secure, with tasteful decor. Lynne was an excellent communicator, and very helpful. I have a family sized SUV and the road is narrow, but I had no problem parking on the drive.

Really great stay at Tracey’s, perfect to stay whilst visiting family nearby in Sandbach. We were travelling with our baby and the provision of high chair, travel cot and baby bowls/spoons was really helpful, having a private living room to use was lovely, especially when the baby was asleep. The rooms are in a charming and cosy cottage, and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was provided on the table for when we wanted it. Tracey was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had

We stayed with our kids over Newyear and it was the perfect spot for us - close to neighbouring friends. Despite the howling storm and winds it was very cosy! we loved the cottage especially the decor and attention to detail. It had everything we needed for our short trip. We would love to come and visit again soon :)

Our stay at Suzanne’s air bnb was amazing. Just as described and most of all a very clean and homely place to stay. Also the bed was extremely comfortable!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this delightful cottage hidden away from the main road but only a few minutes walk from the centre, where a range of good restaurants and friendly cafes are located. I can recommend The Little Bakery for delicious fresh ciabattas. The cottage is very cosy and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owner’s friendly and stylish personality is present in each room and it feels as if you are staying with a friend! bathroom and kitchen areas are modern and clean and the bedroom is so comfortable and full of character- I had the most relaxing sleep in the cosiest bed ever! Wendy was available for help if needed but not at all intrusive. The perfect stay for a solo traveller or a couple looking for a home from home vibe rather than an anonymous hotel. I would stay here again and recommend highly!

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful, clean, peaceful and had everything we needed and more! Absolutely loved the eco friendly products provided and the fresh milk, butter and bread. Claire is a wonderful host with a keen eye for detail which made our stay just perfect! The cottage is warm and welcoming and furnished to a very high standard. We loved it and highly recommend staying! Thank you Claire and Stuart, I'm sure we'll see you again :)
