Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Shropshire

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Nice house in fantastic grounds which provided for wonderful runs and walks on private paths each day.

This is a lovely location to visit the Brecon Beacons. Fiona was welcoming Helpfull and friendly. The appartment was as described and beds are clean and comfortable. Lots of walks nearby, easy access to A40 to get to various surrounding villages and their attractions. Good views from the property. Safe Parking and nice local pub (The White Heart) with good food. Found staff to be helpful and friendly. Would go again if we were to visit that area again.

A beautiful room in a cosy house with a lpvely host and friendly cats. Andrea was kind to collect me at the station afrer a day of travel i appreciated this very much. Her place is so cosy with a beautiful view. It was wonderful to wake up to snow. Place is well located for country walks. The town is an essy walk also and safe at night. Place is also conveniently located fpr using the bus. Andrea is very helpful.with places to go and pffering her time. Im so glad i picked this place to start my christmas holiday in the peaks.

An absolutely fantastic stay! Pamela was a wonderful host, always responsive and the property itself was exactly as described and a lovely location tucked away in a quiet little village!

Absolutely beautiful place and so clean, felt like a home away from home - the bed was so comfortable. Rachel has thought of everything! The place was gorgeous and so peaceful. Very clean and homely. Would 100% stay here again! Host was wonderful also.

Made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. Always answered questions promptly and was fantastic with local recommendations for place to eat, drink, and walk. I felt completely welcome in their home and this is a testament to their welcome. lovely clean room, had everything I needed and felt comfortable asking for anything else. Breakfast was good with a range of things to choose. Fantastic location with walks starting right from the doorstep. Would recommend for solo or couple travel - especially a walking break like I did. Locals are extremely friendly and the sandwiches at the bakery are wonderful. Very friendly couple, and a beautiful, cosy home. Thank you!!!

Fiona and the Manor were amazing. All the communication with Fiona was clear, easy and informative. She was pleasant to chat with and gave us plenty of tips on things to do, where to eat and general local topics. The house was spectacular, really taking you to another time, but with all the perfect modern amenities. Breakfast was beyond abundant, enough to keep us going through a 20k walk :) Can't recommend the house and Fiona enough.

Sonia's place was ideal for me. Easy to find, easy parking. The room was comfortable and homely and everything I needed was provided. The property is in walking distance to Shrewsbury town centre and a good base to explore the area from.

Sophie is a wonderful and welcoming host who respects her guests’ privacy while providing a comfortable and private living space. The room was impeccably clean, and guests have their own dedicated area to relax. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, with convenient shopping options and lovely parks nearby. I truly hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future!

Angela was a most charming host, friendly, organised and keen to give advice. The property was delightful, immaculately presented and with everything you require for a stay. The fresh breakfast that Angela provided was, in our experience, exceptional with fresh fruit salad, warm baked croissants, pan au chocolat and crispy toast, what a way to start your day 😁! After her recommendation we booked an evening meal at the Joiners Arms restaurant pub, just five minutes walk away. Absolutely superb, we had excellent food, but it was busy so best to book!

We had a lovely stay for three nights. Julianne was really welcoming and helpful and our rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was generous and it was great to have access to the dining room to use in the evening (and other times) when we wanted to. The city centre was easily walkable and it was also easy to get out by car to other places that we wanted to visit.

The room was clean, comfortable and warm - most important as it was a freezing day. Breakfast was excellent - good quality food well cooked. The portion was generous, and more was available if required. All staff that we met were friendly and helpful

We stayed with our kids over Newyear and it was the perfect spot for us - close to neighbouring friends. Despite the howling storm and winds it was very cosy! we loved the cottage especially the decor and attention to detail. It had everything we needed for our short trip. We would love to come and visit again soon :)

Wendy’s place is a little slice of peace and comfort. We booked Wendy’s place very last minute, with super clear directions and instructions and was super responsive. Wendy is super dog friendly and made our stay lovely and warm and cosy. Her place is like the cottage in The Holiday (very beautiful). Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay for a quiet night or two and is close to Mcr airport. Thanks for the lovely stay Wendy

We had a tremendous stay at the Little Bothy. This home is incredibly charming and the warm welcome we received from Claire upon arrival was even more endearing. The attention to detail the decoration and furnishings and the thoughtful amenities give this property the look and feel of a Five Star luxury boutique hotel. The location is a perfect home base for exploring the Cotswolds by car while also being close enough to nature and the city center to easily wander on foot. Although we loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen, we especially enjoyed a delicious meal and atmosphere of “The Village Pub” in Barnsley which was one of Claire’s great recommendations. We would enthusiastically recommend this home to anyone wishing to visit the Cotswolds and hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thanks again!
