We were met at the station and escorted to the parking lot and the house. With Google translate, communication went well. A good restaurant was also reserved for us. The house was neat and new. Nice shower. Even a small garden. Location also great. Highly recommended.

It was located in a quiet place, a very delicious city 2 minutes walk away, and there was a roadside station with a day-use hot spring for 5 minutes, and it was a very satisfying two days! 　The station on that road was also right in front of the beach, and it was a place to relax! 　Highly recommended for those who are tired of the city! Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew

The place is right on the shopping street, easy to buy and eat.Check-in at a nearby hotel is just a few minutes' walk away, you can also store your luggage at the hotel, and there is an airport bus stop at the doorstep of the hotel. In summary, everything is very convenient.

Beautiful house in a beautiful village. I felt right at home and so welcomed by Sen and Chiraru, and the people of Tomonoura in general. I wished I could've stayed longer, but I'm sure I'll be back one day.
