Holiday houses in Shigawake

Angela’s house is just as you see it in the pictures. The beach is great and literally in your backyard! The sunsets are incredible. The house is massive with a big kitchen ideal for groups and big families. The house is very well equipped and furnished with a thought for every detail to feel at home. It actually feels like a friends home you would have borrowed, that’s how homey it feels. The only downside like other comments mentioned are the bloody mosquitoes who will eat you alive after 5.00pm. It might have been nice to have a protected outdoor area. Also, if you’re picky with the taste of water, this one tastes a little bit like lake water. We had a great stay at Angela’s and we would all highly recommend the place to friends and family!

I was relocating to New Brunswick and needed a place to stay until my house closed. It was so lovely peaceful and clean. I really enjoyed my stay.

We had a lovely 5 days at Lise's cottage. I know the surroundings very well and our choice of Caraquet was what we were looking for for the quality of its restaurants as well as the warm welcome of the population. There is a good choice of very interesting activities to please all ages. The cottage is very cozy and the place where it is located is perfect. The view from the sea makes the place very relaxing. We will definitely return when we return to the area if it is available during our next stay. / We spent 5 very pleasant days in Lise's cottage. I know the area very well, and our choice of Caraquet was just what we were looking for, for the quality of its restaurants and the warm welcome we received from the locals. There's a good choice of interesting activities to suit all ages. The chalet is very comfortable and the location is perfect. The view of the sea makes it very relaxing. Great stay!

We were in town for work and stayed there and would definitely be back

It was such a lovely home. We enjoyed it a lot. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. And the living space was great for us. We did a lot, despite the weather! We loved the Veloroute and will go back to do more of it. It was fun for us, especially the boardwalk (that we could cycle) at Shippagan. Also, we had never heard of the Acadian Historic Village and it was well worth a visit. We went to the Miscou Lighthouse, walked the Miscou Bog Trail, visited the "Candy" Church, and just had a great time with our friends from Ontario.

The Seebreeze Cottage was beautiful, very clean, cosy and had all the amenities to make you feel like home. Lots to do in a short walking distance. Christine and Marcel were great host with local hidden gems recommendations and their quick response to any questions we might have had. We will most likely visit again in a different season

The cottage was absolutely lovely and exactly as illustrated in the pictures. I am very picky about cleanliness and this place passed with flying colours. The location is stunning and quiet yet very close to town with all required amenities. It was the perfect place to relax and begin my exploration of the VeloRoute bike trail system. I will certainly stay again and bring my bike and kayak 🙂. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.
