We had a wonderful time at the house. Very quiet and private. A very restful retreat.

My husband and I came to Berkeley Springs to relax and unwind. We loved your house and location. We visited the Roman Bath House twice for the healing waters. In the evenings we enjoyed relaxing in your hot tub. I loved the fully fenced yard for our two little Pomeranians. We would love to visit in the spring when everything warms up and your beautiful yard comes back to life. 🌷♥️

Had an enjoyable peaceful stay for a few nights here, everything went great, the rental was as expected and the host was wonderful to work with.

Great secluded place but watch out during the winter for snow and ice due to a very steep and long driveway. I would recommend snow chains as our AWD car couldn’t make it up the house but thankfully Olivia arranged for assistance in getting us up. Very grateful for how responsive and helpful Olivia was throughout check in to check out.

Amazing cabin with a hot tub overlooking a stream - total nature escape but still close to town. Super comfy inside with everything you need, though you'll want to cook since restaurants are limited nearby.

James’ place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Hot tub was wonderful and the place is within walking distance of plenty to do, eat, and drink! Will definitely be back.

This was one of the best air bnb experiences I've ever had. Janelle was responsive and kept her space very clean. We were having trouble working the hot tub and she had someone come out and fix it for us in a blizzard so we could enjoy it! Fantastic and we will be back!

Phillip's cabin was wonderful. It was in a beautiful location, had easy access to Wisp resort (about 5 minutes driving), and was exactly as described in the description. Communication was smooth and we did not have any issues during our stay.

The weather was cold, the cottage was warm, cozy and bright. Great location for the nearby entertainments, shops and eateries. Crozet market has every imaginable provision, and Amy has provided all necessities, including coffee, treats, toiletries, comfortable bedding, kitchen wares and appliances. There is nothing missing. Our pre Christmas get away was wonderful and we will certainly return. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and attention to detail.

The place is cute with the perfect mix of being out in the country yet not too far from everything. The hosts are super responsive and kind.

I booked Pink Cottage for a week-long solo writing retreat, accompanied by Zane, my beloved golden doodle. From the minute I walked inside this charming old cottage I felt I’d found a tiny corner of Nirvana. The inviting seating options, colourful décor and whimsical art on display are exactly as represented in the listing, only more vibrant and comfortable in person. Owing to the Jan 2025 Big Freeze I spent the majority of my time indoors, appreciative of the great central heating system as the temps barely made it into the 20’s, and the functional work spaces available for writing. The kitchen is fully functional, equipped for most cooking and dining needs, including basic small appliances. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable - and came with a plush warm bathrobe which I put to good use. The bathroom is on the cozy side but serves its purpose. Eli is a terrific host. She has created a warm, welcoming and whimsical get away in Pink Cottage. Especially for us dog lovers!!

We have stayed in a lot of AirB&B’s over the years, and Amy’s House has to be my favorite. We loved it so much that we are planning a return trip. Amy’s House has everything you could need during your stay. It is the most dog friendliest house I have ever seen. Billy provides a well-stocked house for both two-legged and four-legged guests. The beds were comfortable. The house was spotless and well decorated. Billy roasts have own coffee and shares with his guests. The location is lovely. We spent two days hiking in the SNP. I could have easily stayed a week. Heck, I’d move in if they let me. ;) If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, just book this house. It’s perfect. The owners are very friendly. The house is charming. You and your fur-babies will love it!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

I grew up down the road and we came in to town with our dog and daughter (1.5yo) to ring in the new year with my parents. This place is everything that is great about deep creek and it was such a perfect layout for our dog and toddler to enjoy! The bed was extremely comfortable and even more updated than the pictures. I wish the couch was a little bit more comfortable/updated but can understand with it being a dog friendly place that may be difficult to maintain. Our dog loved the fenced in area! To address the water, yes it smells like sulfur, but it didn’t really bother us during our stay, and there is a water filtration spout in the kitchen. If you are sensitive to smells though taking a shower would probably bother you. We will definitely book again especially being able to be only 5 minutes from my parents without spending a fortune!

We had a wonderful stay. Our aim was to find somewhere quiet and peaceful to get away for the weekend and it was the perfect fit. The full property is gorgeous with walking paths and beautiful wildlife. A small herd of deer had bedded down just outside the cottage and we just spent the morning watching them before going for a walk around the area. I’d recommend bringing appropriate footwear if there’s been rain or snow because it can get a little muddy. Overall a great place for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back for another stay.

our stay was awesome, we got to meet one of the owners and he was so nice and helped us with our cars. so pls make sure u got 4x4 specially if you’re gonna come in the winter. (we learned the hard way lol). love the places really clean and organized. thank you!!☺️

We loved our short stay at Shelly's cottage. We may have found our new place to stay when visiting DC. We would love to come back in the spring or summer and fish in the pond!!

Brenda is everything you want in a host! Incredibly helpful and descriptive, always quick with communication and so kind! We have a whole mess of younger kids and she was so patient with all of them! This was a great stay and they were all asking to come back before we even got out of the driveway. The grounds were SO peaceful and we really enjoyed getting to see the sunrises in the morning and stars at night. We had a blast and can't wait to visit again! :)

Absolutely Phenomenal View. My girlfriend and I stayed here for new years. On the way up, it was pouring rain but there was no trouble getting to the cottage. Deer everywhere! I love how nature was in the area and not afraid to wonder by. Definitely will consider this cottage for future trips.

Morgan was extremely responsive. We loved the cottage experience, esp since we also had full use of the outdoor space, inc around the main house. True serenity. My mom didn’t want to leave her room behind. Gordonsville is a great location and we barely made a dent in all the things we wanted to do. Drove to Lake Anna one day which wasn’t bad at all. Only con is that the price seemed similar to lakefront properties and/or full houses (I.e. full kitchen). Since it was neither, felt the price could have come down.

We had a fantastic stay. The home was so clean and warm. Kristina was a great host.
