We really enjoyed our stay. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely beautiful! We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was awesome! It is close to Shenandoah National Park where we spent most of our time. The house was spotless, had a great vibe and everything we needed for a great stay. The table tennis was enjoyed by our teens! The hot tub was extremely clean and a great way to end each day of hiking. We even got to see deer on the property. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend staying here!

This was the best stay I could have hoped for. The design was so beautiful and very spacious. The two rolling mattresses were very helpful. On-site laundry was a plus as well. The hot tub was amazing and very well maintained, the back patio was amazing and had two swinging chairs which I adored. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for a peaceful stay in a vibrant cottage surrounded by beautiful outdoors.

The property is really fun - the name captures it - Foxy and Sexy. Definitely a great place for a couple who are there to enjoy each other in a fun location. Food choices are fantastic in the area as well.

My stay at Chris and Sandy’s Airbnb was absolutely amazing! Chris is such a kind and welcoming host — he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property itself is beautiful and has such a peaceful, heartwarming vibe. It truly felt like a home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Had a lovely weekend in VA at Dollys place, and at a really great price. The house was very charming, though very clearly older, but everything about it was within what I consider normal expectations with an older home out in this area. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard, which was fenced in and had a charming fire pit and table. Our dogs and kids alike took advantage of the ample room for activities back there! Dolly and her husband were very responsive and easy to reach and talk to. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

We wanted a peaceful mountain get away, close to lots of hiking. We found it at Koren's place. It has all the amenities of a modern home - reliable wifi, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, deluxe hot tub, modern bathroom, comfortable screened-in porch. Could not have imagined a better place for our weekend get-away. Also, Koren was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hideaway in the middle of the snowy woods and only a quick drive to the grocery store, restaurants and wineries! Loved relaxing by the fire and enjoying the scenery. This place is the perfect weekend getaway to decompress and enjoy nature. Also spotlessly clean, especially given it’s dog friendly! Cant recommend enough!

We stayed here on a warm weekend in late March and it was perfect! The house is on a quiet road with flowering trees everywhere and conveniently close to town. The interior space was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was perfectly quiet at night. We also enjoyed the outdoor area with chairs to sit and relax around a fire pit. All in all a fantastic find!

Kind of bummed I was only here for the one night because this was such a great, comfortable place and near a lot of cool stuff. It was a layover stop on a long drive, but exactly what I needed. So cute and I loved the very secure and private yard for my canine roadtrip partner. I can't get over the awesome spa shower, which was the highlight of my night. The recliner sofa was so comfortable that I unintentionally passed out for most of the night there and then relocated to the bed, which was also lovely. I would definitely look here first if I'm in the area again, and hopefully stay longer to take advantage of the location more. Thank you!

Always enjoy my stay

The cottage/house was as described and wonderful. The location was perfect to explore the many nearby hiking and outdoors options. The property itself has an excellent view. The fenced in yard was convenient for our dog. Inside everything was clean and well-maintained. There were a number of nice touches to make you feel at home. There was everything one would need and more. I needed to work remotely one day and the WiFi was very reliable. Great stay!

Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful little pink cottage just as it looks in the pictures. Super dog friendly which was great for us with our pup. Appreciated the beautiful artwork and charm throughout the cottage. Will book again if we return to cville

Billy's has become our hideaway from Northern Virginia over the last 3 years. Love the peace and quiet and natural surroundings. If you love to hike, there are numerous trails to visit and, of course, excellent breweries and wineries nearby as well.

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Greg’s place was very charming and exactly as described. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked for our stay. The location was perfect, with the only downside being the nearby train that has a few after-hour trains. Greg responded quickly when we had some issues after check-in. Would stay again!

Corinne’s place is amazing. My fiancée and I enjoyed our Spring break there. The cabin is beautiful and well-equipped, we had everything we needed. Corinne and Jesse respond fast and always in a good mood. They left a pumpkin bread and a local cider in the cabin for the guests to enjoy! Also, they sent us a list of nice hiking trails, markets, wineries and breweries in the area, which was super useful. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Kay was a great host, very responsive, and helpful. The house itself was cozy and clean. It's just outside of SkylitFeive which has lots of beautiful hikes. Highly recommended!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Austen and Katie’s airbnb was the perfect spot for a weekend trip to Charlottesville with friends. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a hand written card in the kitchen upon arrival. This airbnb had all the amenities that you can think of— and more. From the gorgeous backyard, to the well-thought decor, to the spotless clean space. Austen & Katie went above and beyond to ensure that their airbnb is the perfect “home away from home” space. It was a fairly short drive to the UVA area. There is not one thing that the house lacked on. Thank you Austen and Katie for allowing us into your home, we cannot wait to book again!

This place was such a perfect weekend getaway. Michael was very communicative (even let us check in early!) This place was clean, quiet, and a quick drive to downtown. It was so fun to walk the trails mowed into the property and soak in all the nature and sunshine.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! So peaceful and quiet. The property was very well maintained and clean. The interior was spotless and clutter free, and the lawn and river area were freshly cut and very well maintained. Our pup had a blast with such a large area to run around. The views were incredible too; almost better than the views at the park itself. Absolutely loved hanging out by the river, and look forward to coming back when it’s warm enough to swim!

This place so beautiful. You have the whole place to yourself and you don’t have any neighbors. Doesn’t get any better than this for a little couples getaway.
