House holiday rentals in Shelbyville

Better than expected. Fantastic and well-stocked kitchen - everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving feast. So many thoughtful details for a comfortable stay. Hot tub and backyard were awesome. Nice walkable neighborhood. Close to all things horses and handy to downtown. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again when in town.

It was a real home not the usual stuff you see on the apps. 2 fireplaces , huge outdoors and clean as could be. It was a perfect space inside and outside especially for the holidays. Definitely worth it.

We loved this Victorian home full of character! The beds were comfortable as were the gathering room couches. (Yes a new loveseat not shown in the pictures). The back porch was perfect for relaxing any time of the day and we used the table out there for meals too. We sat in the back yard to stargaze. The kitchen was extremely well stocked!! It is just delightful when a host/hostess takes the “B and B” part of this traditionally - with some breakfast items available! SO nice! 😊 We had some trouble with the shared bathroom not draining but were able to get it resolved. Great communication with our hosts! We loved the location- one block off the main strip of shops and restaurants in Midway! And as stated 15 - 20 mins to at least 3 distilleries, more cute shops in Versailles and to Keenland. Only about 30 mins into Lexington. Just perfect!

Jenni and this home were outstanding. Very clean and like new. Jenni was proactive and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was PERFECT! There was plenty to do or just relax and enjoy the property. It is very close to distilleries, wineries and restaurants. We hope to visit again sometime!

Jeff’s place isn’t fancy. It’s not over decorated or over scented. Which means it was absolutely perfect for our three generations to use as a home base. The layouts a little odd, but it worked for us. Our toddlers slept in the twin room (thanks for the bedrails), their older cousin in the attached playroom, and adults in the queen and king bedrooms. The enormous livingroom was a great hangout space. Jeff was a great host. If life sets things up again, I’d love to stay here again. We especially appreciated the easy walk to grocery and drugstores and the easy access to main city arteries.

Absolutely perfect! I would say this AirBnb is one of the best that we’ve stayed at. Amazing views of the river. Kristen was very responsive and had everything we needed at the house. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook meals. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and hot water! I definitely recommend Kristen’s house! I know I didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful and comfortable vintage cottage with modern updates, comfortable beds! Perfect for a family reunion or group of friends. Larissa touched base periodically prior to check-in, and was flexible, allowing us access to the cottage a few hours early. We will definitely rent this beautiful home again in the future!

really nice Airbnb. we had 5 people who were all very comfortable. it was very cold winter weather so we didn't venture out too much. we would stay again if ever in Louisville

Love the studio and loft! Beautiful apartment with lots of space to spread out and modern and current amenities! Doesn’t have a closet for hanging so plan to keep things folded. It’s a bit tricky find the apartment the first time and the alley and garage are TIGHT so compact cars would be easiest the host also uses and accesses the apartment. Coury was very accommodating and responsive and did his best to make us feel at home and help us with our requests.

Ross is an amazing host. Among the best! He is very kind, proactive, and responsive in communication. The house is set up beautifully for guests. It's hard to describe, but just little things everywhere--signs for guests so they know what around the house and what they can use, a chalkboard for a shower schedule, games, book, work out equipment. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. It was like everywhere we turned we were like "hey, look at that." It was really warm and fun place to stay. Thanks Ross! Your hospitality made for a wonderful stay!

The house was really nice, great location. The only thing I had trouble with was the lock box.

Great location and great space! The pool table, the huge projector screen, and the game table kept us occupied and the beds were super comfy. The view of the outdoors was amazing. We were lucky to wake up to the first snowy day of the season and it was just gorgeous. I communicated with them a couple times throughout our stay and they were always very responsive and helpful.

This home was perfect for our holiday visit to family! We’re a family of five with two dogs. The house was immaculate, well appointed, and very comfortable. The large fenced in yard was ideal for our pets. We appreciated the easy check in and check out process and availability of the host. Highly recommend!!

Our stay was a last minute day but I am so glad that I picked this host because she was amazing in her house was amazing. If you were looking for a very home like setting with beautiful decorations, and just all out amazing home this is your pick I promise.
