A perfect choice for a short stay with excellent value for money. Everything is well-equipped, and the warm and friendly host has created a space where every guest feels at home. I really love this place—definitely worth a five-star recommendation.

Clean, quiet, warm, good location close to cafes and shops

Beautiful home for a family weekend getaway. Lots of interesting art and decor, and the house in general is a real treat to stay in. We parked around the corner as could not get on the street outside the house but this was not a problem for us. It is a quiet street so it is possible to unload outside the house before parking up. There is a door at the bottom of the stairs which can be used to prevent children going on the steep stairs if they are unable to open doors! If you plan to take a toddler it’s worth noting that there are some beautiful items in the property so we spent all our time there occupying our son to make sure he wouldn’t show an interest in touching anything, but there is so much to do in the area we found we were out most of the time. Unfortunately the boiler broke during our stay which is something which cannot be helped. Michael was very responsive despite being overseas and provided us a range of options inc finding a hotel for us and refund for the 2nd night

Hui Zhen is very efficient and helpful. The stairs are quite narrow and steep so carrying luggage to the room is not so easy. Otherwise all was as expected. Thank you.

Absolutely everything I needed whilst staying in the area for work Raymond is a real character, really enjoyed chatting with him. Would reccomend!

Sarah was a wonderful host, very flexible with our incredibly late check in time. The place was spotless and Buxton was a fantastic place to visit - really beautiful. Sarah gave us some great recommendations.

Me and my partner brought my parents for a weekend in Marsden and Hywel’s place was perfect! Felt cost and at home the second we walked in. Everyone was catered for from music to books and board games. There’s nothing he doesn’t have in the kitchen to! The location is central and you have numerous walks on your doorstep. I contacted Hywel regarding something I thought I had left and he communicated back straight away. We can’t wait to come back :) x

Extremely well equipped, and well taken care of, with lots of thoughtful touches. Plenty of wood for the fire. The main road is right next door but good windows meant we were not disturbed by traffic; easy to get to and for onward travel. Lovely big bath and decent shower, and beds were comfy and not too hard or soft. The hosts' effort really shows.

Sharon was very flexible regarding the check in time and was there to meet me. The room was perfect for me with a very comfortable bed, and wardrobe. The bathroom was next to my room and I was able to use the kitchen. I was given a key to come and go as I pleased although it was also nice sometimes to sit in and have a chat with Sharon. This was my second stay with Sharon and I hope to be back next year.

Lovely stay for grandsons birthday. As it was the weekend when 8inches of snow fell! Liz was very accommodating with later checkout and checking we were okay.

Benedikte’s home was in an ideal location for a quiet getaway with lots to do. On our doorstep, we had plenty of shops and restaurants but also plenty of walks and scenery. Benedikte’s instructions were clear and useful. The welcome pack provided gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Trudi was very helpful from the day we booked. We arrived a little earlier than scheduled and she said we could go right over and check in. Very cosy house with a good kitchen and a large sofa. The heating warms the place very quickly too.

Fantastic house, beautifully presented. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Felt cosy despite being a large house. perfect for a group of people. A very stocked kitchen - everything we needed. comfortable beds and crisp clean linen. We all loved it.

There were 5 adults over Christmas for 3 nights, the house was just right for 5 of us. The whole place was spotless. There was absolutely everything you needed in the kitchen including dishwasher tablets and washing tablets. Managed to cook a great Christmas dinner in the fabulous kitchen! Many fantastic dog walking areas. A stone throw to Lea Wood and walking distance to Cromford Mills. Tim was brilliant at communicating and answering questions quickly. Very highly recommended.

Exactly what we needed for a quick stop over. Everything there that we needed but couldn’t get the coffee machine to work - could have been user error though!

Great house to stay in. Spacious and very very clean. We had everything we needed here. Parking in the street with a permit provided by Ann was so easy - its a big help when you can get easy parking outside the house. Ann was easy to contact and deal with and very friendly. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again.

Had a lovely weekend in Leek, the house was in a perfect location and ideal for 2 couples. We found free on street parking not far away so that was helpful. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries, would definitely recommend.

Mike was a true super host. This townhouse is beautiful. It’s over 3 floors. We entered into a stunning kitchen situated on the lower ground floor. The kitchen was sparkling clean and really well equipped. Mike left croissants, jam and milk. Mike thought of everything, there was a towel for the dog, poo bags and a shower head I think may have fitted onto the outside tap. The beds were very comfortable and the house heated up in minutes. The upstairs shower was amazing. Don’t hesitate to book this air b&b you will not be disappointed. There is a pub, co-op and Dominoes pizza all within easy walking distance and there is off road parking at the back of the property. I will definitely book for any future trips to Huddersfield. If you love the outdoors there are lots of walks within a short drive of this house.

Chris was a brilliant host, always replied to any queries I had within minutes. super helpful and friendly and went the extra mile. The property is well placed for lovely walks, and pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance too. I would highly recommend staying at his property!

The house was perfect, we stayed for a work conference. The house was well presented and comfortable. There were a couple minor issues with the bed and toilet holder, but I made Rachel aware and she said she will jump on them! Overall, good experience and was just what we needed!
