Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Shawangunk

We loved our time in this house. It was clean, welcoming, spacious and well located for ski mountains and restaurants.

Boris and Rungcheewan’s place was very peaceful and nice. The cabin is private, and has everything you need. They were both proactive in plowing the driveway multiple times throughout our stay to make sure we were safe and could easily access everything. I would highly recommend both this place and the hosts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming house upstate, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the home. Host was easy to reach with any issues would definitely book again!

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

This was the perfect getaway with the dogs. The space was cozy and clean. We loved watching the dogs run around in the backyard and throughly enjoyed our walk along the river.

Since my first visit, The Reset Club properties have become the standard for how I judge every Airbnb I stay at. Which isn’t quite fair because Sloan and Doug truly go above and beyond in every way imaginable, and the Cook House is no exception. Not only is the property itself a perfect idyllic getaway, the hosts provide amenities and suggestions to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from curated local offerings to an easy-to-use smart home system. My only complaint is that I’m now bummed whenever I have to stay at a property that isn’t a part of The Reset Club.

This cabin is very cool. Rustic and comfortable, and a five minute drive in any direction from a number of great restaurants and things to do. The sauna was so lovely, the whole place felt like you had the joy of cabin living without actually having to rough it, if that makes sense. Jon was very responsive, had a ton of recommendations in the area, and when we had a question, he was, and please excuse this terrible but necessary joke, Johnny-on-the-spot. If we liked hiking, there were places to do that very near. We don’t, so we didn’t do any of that - but other people should! All in all, great stay, great experience, very relaxing. 10 of 10, would recommend.

There were 5 of us, with another 6 staying in another nearby air bnb. We had Thanksgiving in our house and found everything we needed to cook. Seating was a bit challenging, but we made it work and it was very comfortable. The location is in the woods with lots of boulders and rocks, which we all loved. We found the place easily using GPS. Everyone’s bed was comfy. Close enough to what we wanted, just far enough away to make it an adventure. Because it was so cold and grey, we didn’t hike, but saw plenty of opportunities (maybe next time?!)

We have stayed here more times that I can count. Bob and Jacki's place is a great get-away. Comfortable, cozy and so clean and well stocked for a longer stay. If you see how many times I left a glowing review you will see I mean it since we keep coming back. It is our go to spot when staying in the Catskills. Thank you as always, Bob and Jacki!!

Graham's place in Beacon was exactly what we needed for a restorative get-away for my wife's birthday. The apartment itself is very charming with everything we needed, and very tastefully decorated. We were able to genuinely relax there. We opted to pay extra for use of the outdoor hot tub overlooking Fishkill Creek and Mt. Beacon, and that was just the best! We were in the hot tub morning, afternoon, and evening, and had some of the best conversations we've had in some time there. We will definitely return many times in the future!

We loved our time at this beautiful cottage! We have been to lots of Airbnb’s, and most have been a good experience. This cottage was something more. We both felt instantly relaxed when we walked in the door. It was so cozy and comfortable. We slept great in the comfy bed. The pictures can’t describe the feeling of the place. Warm, cozy, peaceful, inspiring, comfortable, quiet and truly rejuvenating. I will be making a trip to the area again as soon as possible, just to stay in this cabin retreat.

we had a wonderful 2 night stay at Eagles Ridge Farm. it's in a charming location surrounded by farmland and woods. The room had everything we could ask for, including a comfortable king bed, fireplace and small kitchen area. The host was responsive and helpful. The weather was a very cold 5⁰F and we had 6 inches of snow so we could not drive up the steep driveway, as we didn't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The host was gracious enough to allow us to park in his driveway and use a covered walkway to get to the house. We really enjoyed the stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay. It was a great quick weekend trip out of the city. This was our first time upstate and the location of Donna’s home was perfect. We had such a great time and would love to come back in the future.

We loved staying at Nicola's magical place! The view is incredible, the space is clean and very comfortable, and the fireplace is the best we've seen. This is our second time coming to her house for a ski weekend with our family, and we loved every minute. Nicola is a terrific host - very responsive and thoughtful. We would love to return in the future!

Amazing home and well thought out with furniture and design. Felt very comfortable staying there and instructions were very clear. Enjoyed all the amenities there. It’s as pictured and won’t be disappointed with your stay there in the winter. We had snow and the scenario around was beautiful

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

Serg and his team were amazing! They were extremely communicative, respectful, and helpful. Great response time and very flexible! The place was immaculate and definitely worth it! Would 100% stay again.

This place is unlike most Airbnbs, it is STOCKED. This place is ready for a large family and lots of fun! We stayed in the winter for thanksgiving and were able to comfortable host our family of 10 and feed them until stuffed! The hot tub is incredible, the land itself is sprawling with tons to do! You will not run out of fun for the whole family, games, walking around and cute towns nearby! The whole family from young to wise had an amazing time and we can’t wait to come back in the summer!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in New Paltz. We were nine family members, ages 6-75, who enjoyed four days here after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to decompress from a very exciting and magical wedding weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable with a number of areas to relax and enjoy- indoors and out. The pool was a lot of fun, and the house was well provisioned and nicely decorated. It was a rare treat to find a rental house that included basic supplies such as spices, pantry staples like flour and sugar, etc. Ken was an amazing host, very responsive if we had a question and provided a great list of local resources and recommendations that was very helpful. New Paltz is a fun town with a number of good restaurants and more to do in the area than we could manage in four days. Highlights included a day trip to Storm King (fabulous!) and another day to Hyde Park where we visited the Roosevelt homestead and Vanderbilt mansion.

The house is wonderful! We rented it for two nights to celebrate a special event with a group of ladies, and everything worked perfectly. Coordination with the management was seamless, including details like ensuring a comfortable temperature in the house and arranging check-in times. The house is tastefully decorated with unique details and beautiful furniture. We transformed it into a true celebration palace with some added decorations, flowers, candles, a fireplace, and great music! Everyone had an amazing time. I highly recommend this property—thank you for helping make our event so memorable!

The place is breathtaking. Located in an incredible land with awesome trails is a marvelous house nicely decorated and amazing rooms. We had an incredible time with my family that we will remember forever. Many thanks to Paula. Always there and really helpful with everything.
