Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shadyside, Pittsburgh

Henry was an excellent host. He was so helpful, especially after our previous Airbnb cancelled on us the day before our trip (to my daughter’s wedding!) The place is actually more lovely than the pictures and description. Large kitchen, several bathrooms and roomy, comfortable bedrooms. And a great location on the North Shore. With more than enough street parking! I would not hesitate to stay here again

plenty of space for our whole group (4 adults, 3 teens, large dog) and very comfortable. i would love to visit again in better weather, just for fun! navigating the neighborhood in snow was a bit tricky but the host was super communicative about what to expect and alternate routes out, etc.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Area is cute, with close proximity to public transit and downtown Pittsburgh. All amenities work well -- I particularly appreciated having a stocked washer and dryer. The home itself is spacious and very clean, and I would certainly come back next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

Lisa was a wonderful and very responsive host! She constantly offered her help if we needed absolutely anything in addition to all the little extra details she left for us. The house is private and in a very quiet area. Easy way back to the highway. Would highly recommend Lisa!

A really lovely loft space in a walkable neighborhood. Check in/check out was easy and flexible and there were even things in the fridge we could use/eat (plus, an espresso maker!). Finding a place that is dog friendly can be difficult, but this space and the cool yard area, were perfect for our pups. The only thing I would mention for others to take not of is that there is a playground literally right across the street and during recess it can be LOUD! Otherwise, it was fairly quiet during our stay, and having the included parking space made it super easy to come and go when we wanted. I would absolutely stay here again!

Ellie’s place was very comfortable, clean, and in a great location! Ellie was helpful and responsive. We had a short trip, but would love to come back to visit and would definitely stay at Ellie’s again.

We enjoyed staying at this place. Going to downtown, university is very convenient from this location . Also the place is kept very well as described. love to come back again.

Staying with Leni was perfect! The space felt so cozy! Some highlights of the listing is how relaxing the bed is with perfect temperature controls of the AC and heat. Having a garage to park my car was great as it snowed during or stay so I didn't have to clean it off and Leni snowblowed the drive way immediately which was very thoughtful as our host. Her lovely protecting dog Kubo was outside the property when we arrived but we didn't have to interact with any of the animals to check in by ourselves. I'm 6"2' and my only complaint was using the shower was a little awkward since I was eyelevel with the shower head but super negligible. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Leni!

We live in Florida and have family spread out through Pennsylvania so we decided to rent an AirBnB over the holidays so that we could spend Christmas together. The space was perfect for our family. The adults each had their own bedrooms and the kids slept here and there as kids like to do. The hostess put up a Christmas tree which was such a thoughtful surprise for us. The kitchen was a great space with plenty of room to cook and eat. We had plenty of coffee (thank you!) and snacks in a cute display. The location was perfect for us because we were mainly interested in spending time together and not going anywhere. It was very peaceful. This would also be a great place to spend time with family in the summer since it has a pool, play set, trampoline and fire pit and plenty of run around room for kids. We may just come back to enjoy that part of it more in warmer weather. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stacy and Dave have set such high standards. In addition to their beautiful home, what stood out was their attention to detail and how thoughtful they were about guest's needs and comfort. The house was very well equipped with everything essential and much more. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked into their home. They were responsive and very friendly. I look forward to going back soon again.

Great place in Lawrenceville. It is a nice studio. Fully equipped kitchen w full size fridge, range and dishwasher. Great bathroom w shower (no tub). In unit washer and dryer. Great building w easy checkin and checkout. Not cheap, but a reasonable price when the city is busy and the hotels are expensive.

Scott’s place made us feel right at home! He was very responsive when we had questions. Great peaceful location and had all the amenities that we needed. I highly recommend.

Outstanding stay over the holidays at Mandy’s place. The place is much more spacious than the pictures and includes a fenced in yard for kids and pets to get some space. The house was outfitted with Christmas decorations and two trees which was a really nice touch for our family who was away from home this Christmas. In suite bathrooms were convenient for us to get ready for holiday events. Location was surprisingly convenient to downtown Pgh (about 15 min) and even faster to get to some of the shopping areas in the south hills.

Enjoyable weekend and the house suited our needs nicely.

Simple room and bathroom which was just what I needed for my solo trip. Appreciated the toiletries provided as I completely forgot to pack shampoo.

Very clean, and the pictures were accurate. It was cold out the evening we arrived, and he had the house warm, cozy, and well-lit for us! A huge plus also is the location being convenient to everything. There was plenty of room for my daughter, my 2 grandchildren (ages 2 and 3) and myself. ***We didn't have any huge flight of stairs to climb to get into the property***!! This is our new favorite place to stay when we visit.

Kevin was a wonderful host. His communication was bar none and he was very accommodating for me and my family while in town for a funeral. The home had wayyyy more space than we could have imagined! Everyone had their own room and no on was crowded together. I'm a sucker for a King bed!!!! There was a king bed in EVERY room! Thank you for being an incredible host and for being so flexible. Don't hesitate to book with Kevin, he doesn't disappoint.

We enjoyed our stay at Paula’s with our two dogs. The place was spotless and very clean. Location was great - we walked our dogs around the neighborhoods and local parks. We also were able to walk to dinner twice and had great meals in Oakmont. The only improvement I would say is a softer mattress. But otherwise everything was great!
