Holiday rentals with beach access in Sesimbra

João and Connie were perfect hosts. I was greeted in person. João gave very detailed instructions and fantastic recommendations. The apartment is immaculately clean and organized. Just a few feet from the beach, cafés, restaurants, bakery, market. The location is incredible and the amazing views and sound of the ocean made it feel like a dream. It was a beautiful 10 day stay while I worked remotely. I can’t wait to go back. Obrigada João and Connie.

We stayed in Costa da Caparica for over a month, from December to January, and loved every moment. The weather was mostly sunny, and the views from the apartment were incredible - mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the surfers catching waves at sunset, all from the window with a glass of wine in hand, was unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He gave us great tips on visiting places and was always there to help when we needed anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that on Friday and Sunday nights, we heard music from a nearby club. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. We had a great time here and would love to come back someday.

We really like the place for our month-long stay! The location of the property is its strong point, very close to the beach of Carcavelos, to restaurants, with nearby shops as well. The hosts are very polite, friendly and helpful. We recommend the site!

well, first to speak of the extreme sympathy of David, was a super welcoming person, gave us great advice and was always ready to help us, very attentive and helpful, in relation to David's little house, the little house is very beautiful, it is super super welcoming, we feel really well and super comfortable, has an incredibly beautiful view and is close to the beach, it was a wonderful stay, it would repeat again without a doubt! 🥰🥰

Luis is an amazing host! He met us and not only showed us around the apartment but also the neighborhood. There are two great cafes a block away, a fruit & veggie store right around the corner. The beach and walkway that goes all the way to Cascais is only 300 meters away and a Continente grocery is only 1 km away. The apartment and especially the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals. The apartment and beds were very comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

Pedro was the perfect host, he was very responsive when I initially messaged him about booking his apartment. He was also very flexible with regards to checking in and checking out. The view from the apartment is fantastic. It was great to watch the sunset over the ocean. The proximity to the beach cannot be beaten and it feels like that end of the beach is your own private beach where you can swim and enjoy lunch on the sand. It’s a little bit out from the town but a short stroll and you find yourself confronted with a wide range of restaurants and café ideal for lunch, breakfast or dinner. Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

Mariana was an amazing host! Fast and friendly communication, great recommendations for surroundings. The place is perfectly located, especially if you are traveling with your four leg friend, as there are no direct neigbhours. Walkable to the beautiful beach, and any infrastractur you need is a small distance with a car, or a bus (which stops just next to the house) or even longer walk. Swimming pool is clean and perfect for a few swimming strokes and refreshment.The house is equiped with all neccesitties, furnished modernly and with a great taste. We had a time of our life! :) Thank you Mariana.

We loved the house, the decor, and the location. The house is furnished with everything we need. Paulo is super nice! We could use the fireplace, there was a bbq, several heaters in the house, because at night it gets cold. O Sítio is perfect for us to escape the movement of the city.

My husband and I had a lovely one month stay at Bruno’s place. There simply are no negatives. The house is fantastic, the location could not be better, the views/sunsets are picture perfect. We wanted for nothing. The house was clean, cozy, the beds so comfortable and the waves create the perfect white noise to sleep soundly. Addictive… The WiFi worked for video calls. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and eat in, although the local restaurants are fantastic and Bruno’s recommendations are clearly well curated. Last but not least, Bruno and Rita are wonderful hosts. Communication with them was always prompt and effective. They are proactive, helpful, friendly. We could not have made a better choice and we look forward to returning to this beautiful area soon. We should be so lucky to find Bruno’s place available again! Very quiet corner lot, amazing views, very clean spacious. Fortunately the ice cream place is not next door as many say, it is down the street, those comments almost scared me away. Do not hesitate, I would repeat!

We had a wonderful 5 days in Sesimbra in October. The apartment is in a great location just a short walk to town and the beach. The apartment itself is clean and has a great veranda + pool with view. We were forecast rain and tropical storms whilst we were there and though a bit changeable we had some lovely sunny days and were able to hang out in the pool. We had a trip to the castle, Cabot Especiale and to see the Dinosaur foot prints. We especially enjoyed sampling the delicious food at the many restaurants and having a cocktail or two! The locals are super friendly and it was fun watching the surfers. During our stay there was a tropical storm and Jorge checked in on us and made sure we were aware of the alert and we're ok. We would love to come back some time. Thank you Jorge

Fantastic place. I'll go there again if I can. Literally ON the beach. We bodysurfed and enjoyed the fantastic sunset!

David’s beach house was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and a perfect location. He was a great host, friendly and responsive. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

It was a very cozy and spacious place. Even though it was chilly outside, the apartment had heating and was very warm. The host greeted us kindly, gave us all the necessary recommendations, and explained how to park in the underground garage. There’s a supermarket near the building where you can buy everything you need. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach the coast with beautiful views, and you can get to the city center on foot in about 20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a a really nice stay in Parede, the neighborhood was nice and easy, also some of the nice beaches are nearby. We used public transportation and taxi to get around, which works fine. The only downside is that the groceries and restaurants are not that nearby.

Rossana is a great host. Very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The apartment is well-located and makes you feel at home. The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay. Just a few minutes to the beachfront of Caparica, a supermarket and an excellent cafe around the corner.

Beautiful apartment, the view over Sesimbra is stunning from both the apartment and from the pool. Everything is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool is great and there are umbrellas for shade, a gym and a communal working space also with the view. It's a short walk from town although there are a lot of steps to come back up! The host was really helpful and flexible when we were delayed checking in due to some difficulties with car hire.

Small but nice flat, with lovely ocean view and soundscape. Sixties-vibe building of yesteryear, intended for holidays, so nice to find an Airbnb that does not disturb the housing market in a city. José is super accessible and helpful. Everything is neat and available, simple but good.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
