Home was warm and welcoming and Tara and Oskar were responsive and kind hosts.

For a group of 6, Bjorns place was perfect!! The pullout couch is in a room that completely closes off, with a TV and a dresser so it feels like a third bedroom & the bed was very comfortable unlike most pullouts. Also, each bathroom has heated towel racks which were luxurious and amazing for drying wet clothes after lagoons and tours. It is the perfect location to walk to all of the Reykjavik highlights while still being quiet at night to get good sleep. I would 100% stay here again.

The place was gorgeous. Hidden away in a cul-de-sac, this charming home was immaculately clean and had great features which allowed my family to feel at home. The hot tub was a hit with my family, and the modern kitchen had everything tucked away that we needed Friðrikka was responsive and made sure we had what we needed. She was thoughtful enough to have necessities available since our flight arrived so late.

Womderful spaciuos, bright and cosy house, ideal for a family. Lara provide us with detailed instructions and was always available. The location is close to supermarkets and public swimmimg pool. Downtown is just 10 Minuts by car. We had a very nive time! Thank you so much!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

This place was awesome! My teenage daughters were able to have their own space - bonus for us all! - and the space was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Reykjavik. The area was great for walking and for catching tours. We spotted many cats in our neighbourhood, and became well acquainted with the bakery! Karen responded quickly and helpfully anytime we had a question. Thank you!

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

the house isn't just an Airbnb, its home. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and the home was big enough for all of us. loved the place, and Jenny was very helpful and she quickly responded to all my questions. would definitely recommend.

A very nice apartment. Very suitable for a family of four for a short stay. The two bedrooms can be darkened, have only a small window to open. The living room is nice and large and bright. The balcony invites you to stay if the weather cooperates accordingly. We felt very comfortable. Thank you 🤩

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Einar's. The apartment had everything we needed including some toys for my 2 year old. The big windows and balcony overlooking the park were perfect for aurora watching, we saw it twice during our stay at Einar's in February.

You will LOVE the restaurants within walking distance, not to mention all the boat tours. The next time I come to Reykjavik, I’m not even looking at other places - I’m just going to book here first.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while in town for work, the apartment was clean and comfortable and a good fit for my needs. The location is very good, in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk from the downtown restaurants and attractions. It was never difficult to find free overnight street parking within a block of the apartment. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

Gardar's apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few mins drive from Reykjavik city. It's also right next to the main entrance and allocated carpark lot - super convenient. Side note: Personal belongings are in the house but we still had space to put our stuff, so it wasn't a big issue.

We were delighted to celebrate The New Year holidays in this place. It is a warm, clean, modern and cosy apartment with a spectacular view from all the windows. The kitchen has all the amenities (the knives need some sharpening). The bath plastic curtain needs some renovation. Thank you, Kjartan for our perfect stay in the apartment. It felt like home and we were sad to leave it.

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick vacation to Reykjavik! Really nice location with ocean views, 2 balconies, very close (driving) to main areas/ downtown. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!
