Waterfront holiday rentals in Sechelt

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

My stay was absolutely perfect! The resort exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the creek and ocean. The amenities were top-notch—there was a gorgeous pool, sauna and hot tub as well-equipped gym. I also loved the beach access and trail along the resort and creek. We missed the rock outdoor hot tub and spa :( but for sure will come back to complete the experience. We have an unforgettable experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

Me and my partner had such an amazing stay and our host Harold was there to greet us and explain how everything works and did a mini tour of our suite. The wetlands were beautiful and the place is exactly as pictured. Harold also was such a nice host who was available if we needed anything. Definitely will be back to stay again!

Randy and Barb have created a slice of heaven at Haven by the Sea! Everything about this space is so beautiful and well thought of with the guest in mind. The decor and amenities create a cozy and welcoming home-away-from-home that makes it hard to leave! The bed is like a cloud with opulent linens and so comfy. The waterfront views are captivating and the resort has everything you need to relax and rewind…and have fun! Thank you for creating such a special place that we can’t wait to visit again! 🙏❤️

Travis’ place was fantastic! We travelled as a family with 2 kiddos under 3, and felt comfortable right away! The view from the condo is spectacular. The location and surroundings are beautiful, with peaceful walking trails right out to the water. In the condo, we found everything we needed! Travis even set up a small bed for our toddler and left a play yard for our baby. The little intricate details down to the bath toys and night light provided made the condo feel super comfortable and like a home away from home. Travis had excellent instructions and communication throughout. We will most certainly be back. 10/10!

This is a great place with an amazing view. The hot tub added a romantic touch. Heidi’s instructions made everything so easy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing views!! This place is right on the beach, with views of the water and the mountains on the other side (if it isn't too cloudy of course!). If you stand on the beach, you can also see mountains behind you (behind the house). We enjoyed sitting on the couch and watching the sea lions and other marine life (eagles, sea gulls, etc). Be aware that the house is homey, but not fancy -- some stuff was dated, musty, or broken. Vibe is more like "mom's house" than a luxury accommodation. Internet/wifi worked very well. Overall it was quiet (you have the whole house to yourself), but sometimes there noise from the passing trains or the sea lions barking. I didn't notice any road noise, which was nice.

Went in a crispy winter period where the outside air was -2 supposedly. Yet we still had a fantastic time with ease, privacy and serenity. Lovely space that will always be remembered. Kyaking in that region may be one of the funnest activities I’ve done. We had a seal friend we named Broma. He would follow my partner and I around. 10/10 stay

Ashley was an amazing host from start to finish—friendly, responsive, and attentive throughout the entire stay. The breathtaking view alone makes this place worth visiting, but the house itself was just as incredible—spotless, beautifully decorated, and spacious. Plus, you can see the ocean from every room! We had a wonderful family getaway and can’t wait to return.

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Amazing peaceful location. Large open plan with lots of separate seating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans. We will most definitely try to return and book again for another week of paradise. Daily we see sea lions and seals, many birds, and one day we saw dolphins.

We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation at Libby’s place. The home was very comfortable. The views were stunning! Great place to stay.

Peaceful and the most beautiful views. Woke up on our first morning to two dolphins and a seal swimming by. Saw bald eagles, colorful birds, and got lost watching a small pod of whales about 100 yards away. Close to the pass if you’re into snow sports and close to downtown… but very removed from all of the busy. Great spot.

Great location for skiing on Cypress Mountain! Super cute and good forest vibes, close to Horseshoe Bay. Not super walkable, but in a super cute neighborhood. Isetta Cafe Bistro is 5 minutes away and a great spot for brunch!

The condo was very well stocked and comfortable. It was close to everything with plenty to do in the area. We loved the beach walks and beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nicole!

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

Nikki’s place was phenomenal! Beautiful location and home was cozy and well-appointed. Definitely a must-stay!

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

Shannon’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway! We had everything we needed. It was very nicely decorated and we loved the Flamingo theme! The patio was great for having morning coffee overlooking the water! We will be back next time we come to the island!

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

I chose to stay here to celebrate my sister's birthday. The four of us girls had a great night just reconnecting. The outdoor hot tub was amazing relaxing organic was the icing on the cake so to speak. Was awesome to get up in the morning and cook a nice breakfast in the full kitchen for everybody the bathroom was gorgeous beds super comfortable lots of different pillows to be able to select your preference for comfort. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
