Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Scarness

This is our second stay in less than 6 months. This apartment has a kitchen with more than the basics, things like a NutriBullet and rice cooker plus a range of spices and teas. Madi also provides welcome treats so that you feel valued and right at home; there is a work desk with printer and paper and pens: a comfortable bed with plenty of hanging space; clean ensuite; very adequate laundry; great aircon plus fans. The lounges are pretty comfortable too plus there is a big TV. This apartment has lots of pretty decorative touches, is shiny clean and feels well loved. Staying there l feel cared about too. Highly recommended. I love it and if possible l will choose my visits to coincide with when this property is available

Great location, handy to good restaurants and walking track. The unit is not new , but was very clean and had all of the facilities we needed and we had a pleasant stay. We would certainly stay there again.

We were a group of 6 sharing the apartment, occupying 2 bedrooms at the back at 1 at the front. There was plenty of space for all of us including in the living areas. The apartment is unique and has a lot of wow factor about it - especially when seeing it for the first time. It is so much bigger than the photos indicated! The weather was quite muggy during our stay and we needed the air con running in the night. Unfortunately the front bedroom didn’t have any air con and the fans were only just enough to keep us cool. The 2 back bedrooms were fine as they both had air con. Alan is an incredibly friendly, informative and responsive host. He has thought of everything including local coffee & breakky spots. The inclusions like milk, butter, cream were such a welcome surprise - it’s these little things that really delight! We had no issues parking our rental car on the street, though it was restricted to 1hr during certain hours - just something to be aware of. Thanks for having us, Alan!

The house is really luxurious and clean, however the best part is that the beach is directly across the road! We went to the beach every morning and afternoon and went back to the house in between for lunch and it was perfect. It’s walking distance to the pier, and a short drive to the esplanade shops. The outdoor shower and tap was very helpful. We were a group of 6 and it comfortably fit all of us and two cars. Would be a very great house for families with children as there is a small play space provided. Our stay was enjoyable and we all said we’d return again!

This accommodation is right in the middle of town but in a very quiet spot behind and above some shops. Minimal traffic noise but close walking distance to great coffee and several pubs and the RSL. So, easy to walk for a meal. The bedrooms are large. Kitchen clean and well appointed. Bathrooms also clean and well appointed. It has one separate bathroom with shower and two basins and a separate toilet. Then one of the double bed rooms has a small but adequate en-suite. The dining and lounge area is very large and spacious. There are split system airconditioners in the main lounge/dining room and in each bedroom. Also ceiling fans. The aircon works well. There’s a great washing machine, dryer and drying rack plus ironing board and iron - all in a separate room. This place is spacious. The beds are just ok. If I had any complaint I would say it’s the beds which are soft and bouncy and could all be replaced for a substantially more comfortable sleep. We stayed here for 10+ days

Loved this property! Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Location is fantastic, 5 minute walk to Eurong shops. Communication was great, hosts responded in a timely matter. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was in an exceptional location with fantastic views. A very comfortable and sapcious beach house. Recpetion staff very friendly and helpful.

What an incredible opportunity to stay in such a beautiful house at the back of Kingfisher Resort. Full use of the resort ammenities meant we enjoyed daily swims and dinner out a couple of nights. Kokomo’s kitchen and BBQ Veranda was better than any restaurant on the island though. Our family really enjoyed the Pool Table and air conditioning during the heat of the day. We didn’t turn the TV on once! A great spot to explore the Island. Lake Wabby was somewhere new that we hadn’t visited before and the kids loved riding boards down the dune into the Lake with all the Catfish. We also loved re-visiting the usual places like Lake McKenzie & Eli Creek. We will be back again for sure. And will be recommending to all our friends who wish to come and explore K’Gari.

This is our 2nd time staying at James’ place and we will return . We had a tiny issue and James was very helpful and proactive in helping us sort out . Close to everything and walking distance to local shops and markets. Great location . Thanks again James

Kelly’s home is an absolute gem. From the communication prior to arrival, the information regarding local markets to the beautiful and thoughtful personalised gift basket. We felt extremely fortunate to find this home. The cleanliness of the home to the pantry full of condiments was wonderful. We could not fault this home with its beautiful linen and very comfortable furniture, we did not want to leave. The deck that offers serene views of the Mary River is an ideal spot to while away the day. It was truly a relaxing spot for some de-stressing. Thank you Kelly, I have visited many Airbnb’s both in Australia and overseas, but this is the ultimate.

We loved our visit to Casa La Peir. We stayed with friends who had travelled from the UK. It was spacious for our 2 families. Lots of house activities. We loved the day bed, sitting around the large table sharing a meal and having a fire. Made it even more special we could take our fur babies along. The beach is super close to watch the sun come up. And the local family of roo’s is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing this special place with us. We feel very relaxed after our week in Burrum Heads

This is our fourth stay here and we'll be back again. Very quiet street with great beach access. Back to basics with the family 😊. John also has excellent suggestions for things to do in the area should you need them!

Wish I had stayed longer. I felt right at home walking into the beautiful room. The bed is huge and in general it feels very spacious. I could use the really lovely pool, kitchen in the cabana, bbq etc. What makes it really special are the many small things that Meade and Steph have thought of, e.g. lots of cool water in the fridge, sun screen, body lotion, tea and milk etc,. The place is off the main roads, so really quiet but only a short walk to the beach

Very nice apartment with great view. Close proximity to beach,restaurants and grocery store. Negative comments concerning cleaning. Dirty dishes left in dishwasher! Wad of hair on shower floor. A previous guest stated issues with washing machine. During our 12 day stay washer was out of order. Notified Shane and he responded quickly with only delay tactics. No resolution. We even asked for a change of linen and towels on day 5 that we would service the apartment ourselves. Shane responded that there would be a cleaning charge associated. We did NOT think this was fair due to the issue with washing machine malfunction! Overall satisfied with location and property.

Thank you so much we had a lovely stay. The top terrace just takes the place from woah to wow. Yvonne and Nicole were awesome so responsive and fixed anything we needed quickly and expertly. The location is magic, swim just outside either pool or beach, a flat easy walk to town. Great all round

Beautiful place right opposite the beach and near pier. Nice modern clean place . I would definitely rebook if staying again in Hervey Bay.
