Family-friendly holiday rentals in Scario

Pasquale was a very kind and caring guest! He personally welcomed us by explaining how much there was to know in the house, which is comfortable, spacious and perfect for us (five adults and two small children, and a sixth person could have slept there comfortably). In the garden you can relax on the loungers, eat around the large table and have a barbecue in the outdoor oven. And above all, enjoy a paradisiacal view of the sea. In the early morning, with a cup of smoking coffee, we felt in paradise. In the living room there is also a fireplace: we didn't need it, but on colder days it would have been perfect! Comfortable kitchen, fully equipped, with washing machine and dishwasher and comfortable bathrooms. We only thought we would spend the night and then explore the beautiful Pisciotta just minutes away from the house, but in the end we housed the whole day in the house and in the garden, feeling very very, very lucky! We'll be happy to come back and we'll recommend it to our friends!

We are three families with children from Lithuania, stayed in the wonderful Villa Tina (Belmonte) this July. Villa Belmonte is just amazing and cherished. Excellent swimming pool, groomed plants, comfortable five-bedroom house with large terraces and all the necessary equipment. The Villa is in a great location. Wonderful mountain views, sea beach is 20 minutes walk away. The unique old town of Santa Maria di Castellabate (Cilento region) is within walking distance. Pedestrian street, promenade along the sea, boutiques, restaurants. Communication with property manager Federica was easy and expeditious. She helped us with the transfer from Naples airport, meet us in the villa, recommended a local guide, and bought basic products for the start. The hostess, Mrs. Tina took care of all the little things to make our vacation great. Special hospitality and sincerity. Fresh lemons, eggs and even a car to drive to the supermarket for products. We are immensely grateful for the wonderful relaxing holidays in this small paradise of Southern Italy.

Our wish was to spend relaxing days in absolutely quiet and beautiful surroundings. And that's what we got. The house is in a secluded location, the journey there should be with an off-road vehicle (we knew that, no problem for us). The house (one bedroom with extremely comfortable bed, living room with smart TV, small fireplace, large, well equipped dining kitchen, nice bathroom with shower) is really great. The garden - completely fenced if you arrive with a dog like us - is beautiful and lovingly laid out. Grapes, mandarins, pomegranates, oranges, ancient olive trees - great. The house itself is located in an olive grove, from the terrace you have a breathtaking view of the sea. The hosts are wonderful, always available if you need them. The nearest village of Acquavella (etc!) is a 15-minute walk away, 4 minutes by car. Magnificent beaches nearby. Anytime again, we miss it already.

It was a wonderful holiday, Pasqualino Liberatore gave us information about the house and how get there since booking The place matched exactly what we could see from the photos and description of the independent villa on the site. The house upon our arrival was clean and tidy but what made us more was the location not even 5 minutes by car from the historic center of Maratea, surrounded by greenery and with a splendid view of Maratea and the sea a few kilometers below the historic center. We'll definitely be back

We have stayed in this accommodation with four of us. The area is very quiet so you can relax wonderfully and you can cool off in the pool pool. The host was very nice, helpful and easy to reach. All with all, top accommodation at a great price!

Very clean, beautiful house, garden and fantastic pool , amongst stunning scenery, we received great help with all our many questions from Floriano and on site support from Jean Louis making our stay run smoothly. The surrounding area is breathtaking; the nearby port of Scario was picturesque with very friendly locals, well stocked shops and a great choice of restaurants and ice cream/ coffee shops. The coastline was clean and the sea wonderful for a swim with the nearest place for a dip just a ten minute walk away. The vast nature reserve is a treasure trove of beauty from mountains to coastline. Floriano’s ample house and facilities and the surrounding area are idyllic - we had a wonderful holiday.

There werent many reviews about Ilenias Villa so we were a little nervous - however we shouldnt have been nervous. The apartment occupies all of the bottom floor (other than one room) and its HUGE. The photos dont do it justice. It was immaculately clean, the kitchen is better equipped than any we have stayed in including my own. Brand new high spec branded cooker, fridge and coffee maker. It had everything we needed. Parking was secure, outdoor dining was great and enjoyed the sunsets across the valley every night. We rarely saw the owners so it was very private. To drive to the beach was around 5mins but realistically if you are 2 hours away from Naples you will have a hire car anyway. The pool was beautiful and clean and there were plenty of deck chairs around it. Washing facilities very convenient. Plenty of restaurants in the local area and the most local beach is really beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place - we couldnt want for any more.

No more no less: that’s been our most amazing vacation by far!!! We stayed on Antonella’s incredible Villa for a month (August-September), and it literally had all we needed: many spacious rooms with separate bathrooms for different families; huuuuge garden where we played table tennis, soccer (yeah, picture how big the territory actually is!!!!); a nice size pool (we played water polo); the garden had lemon, grape and cactus trees (the fruits of each we were allowed to taste). Downstairs in the house there was a spacious living area where we used to enjoy splendid family dinners. Location-wise: the house is built so conveniently to an autostrada (if, let’s say, you decide to go to Salerno, or Amalfi coast for a day trip); there is a cheese factory about 300m away (mmm, that buffalo products just melted in your mouth); as well as there are fish, meat and super markets very close by. We shopped a lot and ate only fresh food! What else? – Yes, the beach. It’s 15 minutes drive (Paestum Lido) but is very nice and warm. We loved goin there for a dip. On the Villa, we had a gardener Pepe who would just be there for you for whatever it is you might need. So helpful and friendly (thank you Giuseppe). We had a BLAST!!! I don’t really know how you may not like this fantastically gorgeous Villa. We will surely be back!!!❤️ Love love love……Already missing it

Had an absolutely lovely stay at Gisella's castle for two nights. Teggiano is a wonderful little town to explore by foot, and the tour of the castle we got when leaving was the perfect final touch.

Felice is a very friendly host. He personally made sure that our stay was perfect. He was very reliable regarding check-in and -out arrangements. Very nice of him to provide some fruit and groceries, even a home-made cake! He gave tips regarding sights, walks and restaurants. The house is as described, very authentic, very clean, fully equipped. We felt at home.

Giuliana and her husband behaved very friendly with us, and also allowed us to enjoy the aromatic herbs and lemons from their garden. We also had the opportunity to taste some products made by Giuliana, like tomato sauce and jams, and we recognize that they are very good. Very discreet and helpful people. Great stay for those who want to completely get out of the tran tran, the noise and stress of everyday life. The apartment has been arranged very well, even if distributed over two floors. The upstairs terrace is beautiful, with an eye on the entire valley.

A nice and nice place about 5 km from Teggiano old town. Vincenzina is an available host and had many useful tips: places to see, where to eat, etc. It was a really nice experience in Teggiano!

Vincenzo was a great host. We LOVE Sessa Cilento and we are so going to come back. It’s a short drive to lovely beaches eg; ASCEA. The bedrooms are big and spacious- we lacked nothing. We had easy drives to some beautiful places like Positano and Paestum. The place was surrounded by beautiful views and a lemon tree which was a big win because we love lemons. And figs! And the restaurants that Vincenzo recommends are excellent, absolutely loved them. I think everyone should come to sessa cilento just to meet Vincenzo. We love Vincenzo. 10/10 great service. Great place. And a great man. Thank you Vincenzo!

Antonio’s apartment is a perfect place to spend relaxing time in the beautiful area of Cilento. Specifically the sunsets above the sea from the balcony are incomparable astonishing! 109% recommended place!

we had a wonderful two weeks. Perfect location for a quiet vacation, surrounded by greenery but within walking distance of the sea. My furry baby and we enjoyed the beautiful garden with a view of the sea. Angelo and Ludo are friendly and always available people. Highly recommended 😊

Very nice stay in Castellabate, we took full advantage of the residence while discovering the charm of the Amalfi coast. Pool, beaches, mozzarella tasting, and discovering the surrounding villages, a real holiday program! A special mention to Massimo, who was particularly attentive to make our stay perfect. And to top it off, Massimo speaks French particularly well, Italian class! Recommended 100% to discover the area:-)

We had an amazing week there. The whole house and the garden were gorgeous. Roberta was very helpful in everything.

A real gem of a house. Perfectly located a stone’s throw from beach. Brilliantly equipped with fully stocked kitchen and essentials. As a result we ate at home quite a bit. Air con in two double bedrooms, the twin has ceiling fan. Lovely gardens with room for children to play football and run around. Gated community. You also have own small private courtyard. Communal pool is enormous and equipped with lifeguard (though be aware opening hours are 10.30am-1.30pm, closed for lunch and reopen 4.30pm- 7.30pm). Never many people swimming though no sunbeds allowed by pool. The photos made the place look much bigger than it was but it was still plenty big enough and perfectly set up for families with small children like us. Friendly and communicative hosts. Would 100% recommend.

There was 4 of us looking for a relaxing workable home somewhere private and relaxing this place did it. The house was amazing the pool pizza oven and barbecue all worked, felt safe with secure gates and fencing lots of space outside and easy to reach local shops and restaurants- highly recommended

We had an amazing stay at Serena's place! The best apartment we've been in so far! The bed is very comfortable, everything is so clean, elegantly designed and arranged, with a lot of soul and generosity. A perfect experience, we will definitely return one day

Thus is a great house to stay in and base yourself for a trip to Italy. Scario is a lovely town with all you need for a memorable holiday. Visits to Bosco and Dan Giovanni were nice. Wary drive from Naples. We visited Pompeii on way. We are a family of 7 and was lots of room. Pool (with diving) was great for the children (and adults 😀). We did need fans for first two nights but did not take away from a lovely stay. We would love to return and further explore all that the area offers knowing that we were staying in a fabulous house, chilled out, great views and comfortable.
