Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Scala di Furno

We were two couples on vacation to take a tour of the chickens area, Giulia arranged to leave us two private apartments of the villa so that we were comfortable, the two apartments were absolutely impeccable, rarely seen such cleanliness, the pool idem, her dad came every morning very early to arrange the garden! She was very responsive in answering our questions, also offered us a very convenient self check-in and checkout. We highly recommend Giulia's place! We were there on the first week of October it was perfect for us who visited the surroundings and if you want to be quiet otherwise it is better to come on high season, more lively 😉 Thanks again Giulia! We spent a couple of nights in this perfect hideaway, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Set back from the road, the property is a beautiful, calm and peaceful retreat with some amazing views and surroundings. Inside, the apartment has all you need for a few days’ stay and was spotlessly clean. The shower worked very well, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for clothes and other bits. Camilla was incredibly responsive before, during and after our trip and provided very clear instructions on how to access the property etc. We loved our stay and was sad to leave!

We arrived very late, midnight, and Cinzia was waiting for us. The house is high, so you have a magnificent view over the sea. A nice supermarket can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and 4 minutes by car. There are even 4 terraces, so you can always sit in the sun or in the shade. The pool was small but very clean and reasonably warm. The house is spacious, and all windows have screens against the mosquitoes. Spacious bedroom, large bathroom with washing machine, full kitchen. We enjoyed Alberobello, Lecce, Gallipoli and Ostuni. You do need a car for that. Paolo is very helpful and takes care of everything and also takes care of the garbage!

Apartment with great sea view, holiday-friendly, great location with short distances to the sea (also in August there is a quiet place) and to the village.

Very welcoming hosts. A true haven of peace! A beautiful garden. 30 seconds on foot from the sea. In short, go without so much as a second thought!! I would highly recommend this place.

Terrific place for us. Highly recommend. My husband and I, both in our early sixties, just finished a 1month stay at this lovely home. The strong wifi allowed us to do work Zoom meetings and other important on line arrangements for our trip. The home was centrally located in historic part of Lecce with amazing sites and restaurants just steps away. We were able to rent a car from a nearby Europcar twice during our stay to visit other cities. The home has two separate bedrooms and my grown daughter and her boyfriend joined us for a few days very comfortably. Giorgia the host was helpful, and housekeeping, was reliable and thorough. Giorgia gave us terrific recommendations for restaurants. We loved this place! There are stairs,- as described. Appliances worked well all month long. Absolutely lovely time.

We loved our stay here, the property was absolutely stunning, the staff Aida, Maria Atonietta and Mirko were very friendly and responsive, and the meals they made for us were incredible. Priscilla, the host, was very responsive and was able to accommodate last minute requests from our group. The town is small, but beautiful and the restaurant in town Nonna Rosa had upscale dining which was delicious and a 5 minute walk from the villa. The town felt very safe and friendly, and the bar/cafe in the town center had everything you could want, including the local pastry pasticiotto. The local salumeria was run but the kindest couple who were so helpful, welcoming, and patient despite us not speaking much Italian. This is close to Lecce and Brindisi, which made travel very easy and driving through town and fining parking was easy.

We loved the quietness & the sound of sea. The views of sea were amazing. You need to have a car to visit the lovely locations nearby. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

Maria's apartment was perfect for a week in Lecce. It's handy to the historic centre and all the places that make Lecce special. It was great to have so much space, after staying in much smaller places. And Maria welcomed us with local cakes - so delicious! Excellent shower, comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen.

We had a very nice stay, location close to incredible beaches, the center of Lecce very close, supermarket and bar very close, my children enjoyed the detail of the play station and Arcade, we really felt right at home, in General everything was fine, we hope to return very soon Thank you Jonathan

Francesco was an impeccable host, his structure is truly ideal for those who want to escape the chaos of the city. The apartments are small but have everything you need to experience peacefully for a week or more (I would only suggest putting a small microwave so you can heat a few dishes on the fly). The structure is magnificent, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, and is extremely well cared for; Francesco also offers bicycles so that you can reach the nearby beach without having to move your car. Would definitely recommend for those who want to stay in and around San Foca. Thanks Francesco!

We had a really nice week at Giulia and roberto’s place. There was plenty of space, it was well equipped and completely spotless. Giulia was very helpful in aiding us when we had questions and gave us some very good recommendations (including the very good market below the apartment which sells many regional specialities and the nearby ‘bar stop’ which has some of the best bar snacks I’ve ever tried!) The location is a bit further from the centre than others but it’s well connected by bus or you can walk in in about 30 mins. Overall it was a great experience and would really recommend… thank you!

Very nice and well maintained Airbnb that was spotlessly clean. The apartment is very spacious and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The communication with Valentina was uncomplicated and pleasant at all times – she is extremely friendly and warm! We felt completely comfortable and would come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

Great place!! Very close to all things “Lecce”! Very clean and comfortable. Lecce is an awesome city-absolutely gorgeous at night. Llario’s recommendation for Le Zie Trattoria was outstanding-fantastic home cooked meal-a real local institution. Don’t hesitate to stay here or visit Lecce, it was an unexpected surprise for us who have visited Italy several times but our first experience in Puglia. Loved every minute!!

Everything was excellent. Very clean and well appointed accommodation. The hot tub is really great and that's why we rented here. We do not regret it!!! We can only recommend!

Although we arrived late, check-in was completely hassle-free - as was check out. Giovanni was always available and responded quickly and always found a good solution if we had any questions. We felt very comfortable, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a huge terrace with sea view where we could enjoy our breakfast. The mattress in the bedroom was impeccable so we could sleep well. The apartment is centrally located and yet quiet in a side street - you can quickly walk to the city and the sea. Giovanni and his wife Francesca are very friendly and helpful hosts. We can 100% recommend the apartment

Georgio was the most wonderful host. Our rooftop was a glorious perch to enjoy yachts racing, people strolling and the flashing glimpse of a huge sailfish leaping from the blue. We were given tips on where to swim (according to the prevailing winds), where to park, and great places to eat! We felt taken care of and loved our stay in Gallipoli. Grazie Georgio!

Staying at Alessandro’s was perfect for our vacation. It is very peaceful and quiet, the terrasse and private access to the sea were worth ot already. Also it‘s a great location to explore the region from a less touristic starting point. Would have chosen this airbnb again! Alessandro and his father were always there for help, super friendly and the place was more spacious than it looked. Can highly recommend - thank you for everything!

Small but essential apartment in every detail. Gated and very nice inner courtyard, with relaxation corners and barbecue area. Location outside the center so quiet area and parking always available. Pointed ham beach 5 minutes away by car. The center is also close, with the bicycles provided by Stefano, you can also get around Torre Lapillo well. Stefano and dad Fernando, two delicious and very helpful people. The apartment was extra clean and fragrant. It was a beautiful vacation!
