House holiday rentals in Saxon Switzerland Mountains

Beautiful house in a quiet location! Fast and uncomplicated communication from the host and Jan on site. Ideal for events with 10+ participants. We were there in January, so there was a lot of snow, but it is certainly also very nice in summer. However, a (hire) car is strongly recommended, also to take advantage of possible activities in the surrounding area (hiking trails, winter sports, etc.), as most of these are not within walking distance. We spent a lovely weekend in the house, there were several families with children, it was all there, well furnished. Had friendly contact from the beginning, everything worked out. Beautiful is also the park directly opposite or 10 minutes by car a small hike to the pickle stone, at the market - a few minutes walk - there is a great chocolate factory - everything is great! It’s been such a good stay - I was happy about the clean house and the quick help, whenever I needed it (for example: I forgot to take the house keys with me, but our host was quickly there to help us out!). The house has a very sweet garden with hidden little places where the kids played. They really enjoyed it. It’s pretty quiet around the house, and there’s shops within a few minutes (car ride), so it’s perfect for a calm but uncomplicated stay. We recommend this place!

We stayed at the property for 3 nights and made excursions to Bohemian Switzerland from there. House was clean and cozy. There was even a fireplace and our dog was also welcome. I highly recommend it!

Everything perfect! As a welcome, we even received 1 bottle of mulled wine and punch each. TV via internet, WiFi everywhere.

We stayed 3 nights in a really very lovingly furnished chalet. It was very clean, the hosts extremely friendly and accommodating, so you could really relax and unwind. A recommendation for anyone who enjoys the tranquility but does not want to give up comfort. The fireplace, sauna, and natural swimming pond are a highlight, which is rarely found in combination. We will be back and have already recommended you. Thanks for everything ☀️

Our stay with six adults and five small children over New Year's Eve 24/25 was wonderful. The house is very nice, everything as described. Sauna and hot tub are fantastic and the surroundings are great for hiking! We'll be back anytime - the three baby monitors were right up to the panoramic sauna!! :)

Great place to stay! The house is spacious and neat. Mr. Ulrich is very helpful and supportive. Totally recommend it.

We had a very nice stay at Doreens apartment. The house with its three floors is very cozy and there is also enough space for four adults. From the door you can start directly for a hike. The S-Bahn (suburban train) station and supermarket are also within walking distance. We felt very comfortable overall and would come back again!

We spent a wonderful week in the historic half-timbered house on the farm. The chestnut tree shone in all autumn colors. Underneath is a cozy fire and barbecue area with seating . The large fireplace with two windows (kitchen and hallway) heats the whole house in a short time. The kitchen is very well equipped with many spices, oils, vinegar, etc. Everything is lovingly furnished. There was nothing missing.

We had 2 wonderful weeks! From the house you could reach many great hiking destinations in a short time, the absolutely worthwhile hikes to the Lilienstein and the fire even on foot (including "off-road" large dog!). We felt very comfortable in the house after long, fulfilling hikes, even if our dog lady (who is absolutely "hiking enthusiastic") avoided the stairs down into the kitchen. One should know that there are bathroom and kitchen on the lower level and apartment/bedroom in the upper level. We didn't miss anything, so we can only recommend the accommodation and this fairytale spot on earth!

We had a lovely time in Waitzendorf. We were greeted directly by our hosts in a friendly way and they were very likeable. Hiking trails are close by and we were surrounded by land and nature . The tavern across the street invites you to a good meal if you don't fancy cooking. The kitchen is well equipped and the attic was a highlight for the children. For older , not so mobile guests, the attic is not a good sleeping alternative, as the stairs are very steep. We were 6 adults and 2 children . It's ideal for the crowd. Great house , friendly hosts ! Thanks a lot !

We had a fantastic stay, the apartment is beautiful and offers a great view of the countryside. The landlords were always quickly accessible and very friendly, we immediately felt at home. Very cozy and simply beautiful. (: Everything in the apartment is high quality and very well maintained, we have already recommended the apartment to our friends and relatives on day 1. Everything is great!

Reinhard and Anita are very likeable hosts. There is an extensive collection of information for further and further exploration. Drinks are provided at fair prices. The mattress is fantastic. Due to the quiet location, you can sleep great. The bathroom has a choice of shower or bathtub. Fluffy towels are abundant. I'd love to come back.

This is a great place to visit. We could enjoy the tiny house to relax and leave busy things behind. Florian is proactive in the communication and clears everything upfront. The location is clean, modern and good equipped with everything you need for a short stay. A garden with a terrace is also available. Thanks Florian.

Highly recommend staying here. We were a group of 6 and didn't feel crammed at all. The place is nicely decorated and pristine. The host was very nice, responsive and provided a lot of local recommendations. We would definitely come back!

A memorable stay at a unique place to stay We had the great pleasure of spending a weekend in a lovingly converted chapel that serves as a vacation home – and it was simply fantastic! The location of the place is wonderful – idyllic, quiet and perfect to get away from it all. The chapel itself is an architectural gem that has been renovated with a lot of love for detail. The charm of the building has been preserved and at the same time complemented with modern comfort. The facility left nothing to be desired. From the kitchen to the cozy living area, there was everything you need. Particularly noteworthy is how clean and inviting everything was. When we arrived, it was pleasantly warm and incredibly cozy – just what you want for a relaxing start to the holiday. The landlords were incredibly nice and warm. They made us feel welcome and helpful from the start.

We were there with all the practical members and looked at Dresden. It was a super nice place. Within walking distance is the New Town with many shopping and bars. It was ideal for us. We'll be back

Really lovely home to stay in, great equipped kitchen and a beautiful atmosphere. The garden is big and nice, we really felt at home. It was clean and had everything we needed. Only minor critic would be the fridge, that was not 100% percent clean, but other than that, we had a wonderful stay and a warm welcome from the staff. Also the cat outside is really cute.

We stayed at Vlasta’s place over the Christmas and we felt like at home thanks to the host’s hospitality, clean and cozy house, beautiful surroundings.

We stayed with Enrico as a family with three children (9/8/1) and had a very nice stay. The house is old and simple but you can tell how much love is put into it. For tall people, however, some bumps are pre-programmed... Communication with Enrico was straightforward. The location is also great, where you should be mobile for larger activities in all directions by car. However, it is also very nice on site for a family walk. Thanks for the nice week
