Holiday houses in Sawmill Settlement

Beautiful cottage and just what we needed after 3 days in swags. Loved the effort and small details and decorated beautifully. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in town.

Great place, very close to the base of Mount Buller. The layout is quite flexible for 1 or 2 families, with 2 bedrooms in the main part of the house and a separate hotel style room right next door. The house is nice and clean, and they don't mind if you bring a pet. If you're there in the warmer months, they have a pool and tennis court too. Will definitely return if we head back to Buller.

An absolutely beautiful place barely separated from the high country. An incredible place to stay - wonderfully equipped and so comfortable. We loved our stay here and hope to return.

Such a wonderful stay. The location was abundant with charm and beauty. The house was very clean and comfortable. Darlene communicated with such warmth and did a fantastic job to make sure that all of our needs and her assistance were available to us, all the while maintaining our sense of privacy. Jim and Serrin were also such lovely people. Do yourself a favour and come and experience this paradise. It took us to calmer and simpler times- listening to natures sounds and tuning in to its slow and relaxed pace. All of that was balanced with a perfect modern touch including fresh linen sheets. Imagine: the decadence of freshly ground coffee, moist chocolate cake with cream and berries, sitting by the fire at night, picking berries and other fruits on the property in the morning, sitting under the massive oak tree and feeling the cool breeze and swimming in the river. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d booked the perfect location for our first getaway after having our baby 3 months ago. The place was tranquil, incredibly peaceful and with views to die for of Lake Eildon. We were close enough to town, but far away enough it felt we were truly on holiday. Really appreciated the kitchen with everything we could need to make meals each day. Really appreciated the coffee machine too. Narelle check in on us and was very prompt to reply with any queries we had. Highly recommend hiring a boat on lake Eildon for a few hours, it was definitely highlight of our activities of the trip. Could not recommend the Kanin enough. We will definitely be back. Feeling really relaxed and well rested after our week there.

Beautiful home with beautiful furnishings, it is like a home away from home, gorgeous garden, didn’t have any children but if we did they would have had so much fun in the cubby. We will definitely be back.

Stunning views, kids absolutely loved all the wildlife on the property. A fantastic place for a peaceful holiday, yet close enough to Mansfield for shops and activities. Patchy internet but we didn’t mind that, bring your own DVDs if you don’t want to rely on free to air
