Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Savanna

We had a wonderful stay at Jim’s place. We were four couples and we really liked the place.  It had lots of rooms and bathrooms, in a quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and well kept! It is also well located from downtown Galena (about 15 to 20 minutes drive from Galena’s main attractions) and other activities/trails/etc.  Jim was a splendid host, who provided us with ample instructions/guidance.  The drive within the association (off the main road) is on dark roads with no street lights, so driving at night to and from the house can be very challenging, especially in bad weather. Otherwise, it was a lovely home, with plenty of space, in a quiet neighborhood in the Galena Territory. We will definitely come back to Jim’s place, if we return to Galena IL again!

Alina’s home was a clean beautiful spacious property. Lots of room for our party of 5. We loved both the enclosed and open air decks and we made great use of the fire pit at the end of our evenings. And let me tell you if you are a stargazer you are in for a treat. Just beautiful!

It was so clean and cute with lots do to and nothing was to far away to get too.

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was amazing. We absolutely loved it. It was so clean, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything you could need. It's a short drive to Main Street in Galena but well worth it for the private peaceful location. We will definitely be back.

Debbie was a great host. Very communicative and the condo was well appointed. She provided local recommendations and even made sure that I had some popcorn in case I wanted to watch a movie. Would stay here again.

This is a beautiful house, & Amina was a kind, wonderful host. She got back to us very quickly & always answered texts/calls. The house is huge, with lots of seating areas and open space. This was a great experience, but there are a few things that could make it even better. 1st, she said there was a blow up mattress & cot available. We could not find the cot, despite looking everywhere throughout the house. Also, the blow up mattress lost air within minutes, rendering it unusable. 2nd, the king bed on the main floor was very uncomfortable - super hard. 3rd, the blender & food processor do not work and need to be replaced. 4th, the tvs in the bedrooms wouldn’t work- cable was only available in main rooms. Lastly, there was no covering on fireplace- no screen or glass. This was really unsafe & we had to be super vigilant when using it. We wouldn’t use it if we had young children around. All in all, it’s a great house. With some small fixes it would be fantastic. Still 5 stars though.

We came for a relaxing weekend and Doreen’s home provided exactly that. The scenery was beautiful and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future!

Sandra's home is beautiful! Spacious, tastefully decorated. The home is situated on a sloping hill with trees & flowers to enjoy. One can sit out on the back deck which overlooks all of this beauty and enjoy their morning coffee or evening glass of wine in peace. Sandra is warm & friendly. If your looking for a specific thing she provides guidance. It's also very rare to find a place that includes breakfast but she does and oh what a breakfast! Sandra is an excellant cook and you won't need lunch! Beds are quite comfy and if your as lucky as I was fall asleep to an owl hooting, something you'll never hear in the city. Overall it was a great getaway and well worth the money!

This was my second stay at the same location that Shanna owned and both stays were a dream. Everything was clean, organized, and welcoming for new or returning guests. I recommend for anyone to come in and enjoy a night here and got higher than the stars.

Great place to stay in the Galena area.

We visit Clinton every summer to see family and always have had a great experience staying in Dan’s properties. This time it was only my husband and I and we stayed in the one bedroom apartment. It was nicely updated with newer appliances, flooring and tile. Very clean and nice touches with available games, movies, and a fully stocked kitchen. The stairs to get up to the apartment were pretty steep, but it wasn’t a hindrance to us.

We were able to check in a little early since we arrived earlier than anticipated, quaint little apartment full of charm and history. upstairs tenants were quiet, perfect for 3-4 people. just a half block from downtown

Great little condo in the Galena Territory. Excellent layout for a small family that wants to relax, play some games, watch moves and spend some quality time together. Location in the Territory is close to the restaurants/general store with lots to do!

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was beautiful and everything was spotless. They had everything we needed available and something extra cool at this stay was the game “mystery at the mansion” a fun QR clue game that had us scout QR codes throughout the villa to follow a mystery storyline. We definitely would recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and decorated beautifully! We come to Galena every year and this is one of favorite places that we’ve ever stayed. Kristen and Ginger were so accommodating and communicated very well. The only negative is that the roads to get to the property are incredibly dark, but that isn’t their fault, and they gave us more than fair warning about what to expect when we arrived! 10/10 would recommend!

Great place, would stay again for sure. The location is nice- quiet and private and about a 12-minute drive from downtown Galena. It was clean and cozy, the beds were comfy and host communication was timely and clear. Check out to do list was very reasonable and simple. There’s a working wood fireplace and plenty of wood for guest use which is such a nice bonus and walking trails are close and accessible. We didn’t have time to check out the clubhouse facilities but instructions and access seemed easy and straightforward.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Dan was very accommodating with check in for us! Definitely a place we would stay again!
