Holiday houses in Sassi di Matera

Four of us came to see our grandparents village: for our first time visit Miglionico was charming and told us enough of what we wanted to know. But the village and the location is just so beautiful. I am selfishly grateful that it is not so touristy and that people make me use Italian. I always felt safe. I expect to return again hopefully with my daughter and hopefully to Grazia’s accommodation.

Eleanor’s place was perfect. What a great location. Easy walk to the Saadi. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The apartment was very clean, spacious and has everything you may need. There was a lovely breakfast each morning to bring to our apartment. We highly recommend Eleonora’s place.

Very nice and clean accommodation with all amenities, friendly and helpful hosts, walking distance to the historic center. Parking in nearby streets.

Mrs. Lorella was an exceptional person and always available. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet you in person and we had to do the selfcheck in which it was very easy as she always provided us with directions through photos and videos to implement it. The house matches the photos and amenities provided: cozy, clean and super fragrant with an ambient scent for each room that made each one different. It is very close to the center of Matera and the limits of the ZTL. Also, if you want to move towards Puglia like Alberobello, Locorotondo, it is located at a comfortable height for these trips nearby. I'll definitely be back here.

It is a lovely home and Anita is a delight! Homemade goodies arrived for breakfast and they were delicious. We will definitely return!

Very nice apartment, perfectly clean. The location is ideal: close to the Sassi but quiet and with parking. Very warm welcome by Mr who gives very clear explanations and does not dry advice on Matera, Mrs. made us the pleasure of offering us good pastries made by him and which were exquisite. We had a great stay in Matera and your beautiful apartment contributed to it, thank you again.

I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay at Raffaella’s. It was very comfortable, clean, warm, centrally located and had lots of breakfast goodies and amenities. Raffaella was also very helpful with any questions we had about restaurants, laundry facilities, or shopping. What’s not to like like?!

Amazing stay.. The flat is spacious, central and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Francesco was the best host one could ever ask for. Always available and provided resources of places to see, which we would not have visited without his suggestions. We were in very good hands to visit Laterza, Mottola, Matera and Ginosa. Breathtaking places. Highly recommended.
