Holiday rentals with a fireplace in São Pedro do Sul

Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

Beautiful and welcoming house. We enjoyed our stay but what stood out last was the warm welcome and delicious local delicacies that Sandra’s family had put out for us on arrival. Communication with the host was perfect during our stay and even offering our children visits to farm to feed the goats was very kind. The house is stunning a good mix of traditional and modern, plus you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

We spent an extraordinary month at Sao Pedro de Sul. This is a month of adventure and relaxation. The villa has a very nice area, swimming pool and tennis court. Nearby you will find a supermarket, coffee shop, a wonderful park, that is, everything you need for your stay. This is a great area for tourism, we always had places to go. The villa is owned by Pauli, who responds very quickly and resolves all issues, keeps you clean and charges you in a good mood. The house is very large, has quality internet. The house is cool even when it's very hot outside the window. It was our pleasure to return. Everything was just incredible!

The village of paradinha is a place that steals your mind. Swimming in the river, peaceful nights and great places to explore near by are the extras of this rental. The house was as described, particularly enjoyed the views from the small old windows. Thank you so much Olga!

This apartment is a real gem surrounded by nature. Surrounded by woods and streams, it offers an experience of unique peace and serenity. The place is comfortable and well cared for, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The elderly lady who manages the place is extraordinary. She is very friendly, helpful and always ready to give great advice. Your hospitality makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this apartment to those looking for tranquility and nature. The accommodation is perfect, very large, very clean, beautiful. The whole neighborhood is beautiful. The host is a very good guest. It's like my very elegant luxury dream house. Excellent accommodation. The apartment is very nice and has a well equipped kitchen, 2 full amenities, heating, washer and dryer, balcony, 3 bedrooms. It is also very sunny and the atmosphere of the area is very familiar. Zélia is a loving person, very friendly and attentive. Below is a small supermarket that has everything, and the prices are normal. The accesses are easy and relatively close to the freeway, so if you want to go to Porto, Aveiro etc is easy. Highly recommend. I will definitely repeat.

We were very happy with our stay at Antonio & Carola's apartment. We really appreciated the warm welcome by Albino, who was always available with tips and advice. The clean and spacious apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by a wonderful garden (also highly appreciated by our children) and we had a sublime view from the apartment's large terrace. We can definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we ever were to visit the region again.

This home is a gem! We love it! It is so spacious with 4 bedrooms and a huge terrace the size of a one bedroom apartment. The view through the huge windows overlooking the neighbourhood and forest is so beautiful and relaxing. However, you must have a car to go about as not much is walking distance (also no side walks). The place is quiet but not too quiet. The road at the front gets quite busy sometimes but the noise is not disruptive at all. The huge table in the living room was perfect for working remotely. The white lighting in the house is great for working. There's also a lot of sunlight as there are sliding doors in every room. It can get cold sometimes but the house is not humid at all, and the AC heating heats up the house easily. Shower is great. Spacious bathrooms. The kitchen is huge with everything we need for cooking. We're also really grateful to have a dishwasher! Diana is very friendly and helpful when we have questions. We highly recommend this place and the host! :)

This place is amazing! The property feels extremely private. There were 4 of us and we felt the house could easily have slept another 4. Everything was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going to their restaurant in town, everything was cooked perfectly. The pool was great and we loved using the barbecue. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Memorable stay!!! We loved the house (which was very clean), the pool was perfect and very well maintained, the view... The environment was very beautiful and calm. We will keep a very good memory of our vacation and meeting the parents of Romeu who live next door to the house. This accommodation is by far the best I have booked through this platform over the years. The advert really cannot prepare you for how beautiful this place is in real life. The views, the surroundings and the accommodation itself are absolutely gorgeous. Upstairs has indeed two bathrooms, but all three rooms downstairs have their own en-suite. Which gave are group of 18 more then enough space in the mornings and afternoon. The central fire place is amazing, and more than enough wood is provided underneath the house. The natural surroundings of the place are also our of this world. There is a small stream going accros the land, which results in a waterfall near the pool, the sound is so peaceful. Diogo is amazing, friendly and super flexible. as our flight arrived early & airport proceedings were speedy we asked if we could check in earlier. That was no problem at all, as Diogo was not there yet, his housekeeping team let us in. Thanks for letting us stay here, maybe until next year!

Fantastic property and hosts! We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome. Local roads (narrow and steep) take a little getting used to, however overall this is a great property to relax in and we recommend it and its friendly owners!

We had an amazing family holiday at Casa da Loja. The house is a wonderful place to stay in a very scenic area of Portugal. There's lots of enjoyable touristy stuff to do close by in the region, but our favourite days were spent without needing to get in the car - walking, swimming, eating and drinking in the lovely Bestança valley. Or just relaxing by the pool with a drink and taking in the views. Jorge is a brilliant host, and his kindness, humour and great advice helped make our holiday. We all enjoyed meeting and chatting to him, and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a peaceful break away from the crowds in a beautiful region, we couldn't recommend Covelas and Casa da Loja more enthusiastically.

The house matches the photos and description. It is close to the highway which makes everything closer but the site itself is not very interested. Good house to spend a family weekend, well-equipped, clean and with plenty of space. Ideal for both winter and summer with large rooms and an outdoor area. Host is very friendly and always helpful. In addition, it has made us very comfortable to use everything and we can enjoy the last day until more part enjoying a late check-out.
