Holiday houses in São Cristovão

My best experience so far, we were able to sign up from 4 p.m. because everything needed to be cleaned. But otherwise we could decide for ourselves when we would arrive. Both the whole house and the jacuzzi were fully cleaned. There was a bottle of wine ready for us as a welcome gift, something we definitely raped. That evening, Barbara came to give us a small tour of the house. Furthermore, she always responded immediately and also sent all the necessary information about shops and activities. Very satisfied with this experience!

We loved our stay. the house was spacious and decorated beautifully. we received great recommendations to local restaurants. Armando and Andrea are truly helpful and the assistance we received when we had some car challenges was very generous. we would highly recommend staying at their Villa.

One of the best places to stay in Porto Covo--stunning views, comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen, generous owner and caretaker. But really, it's the location, location, location: watch the tides come in and out; set off on walks along the Fisherman's Trail north or south, walk to the market, the two small grocery stores in town, and a variety of restaurants. The one restaurant listed in Michelin is a half block away! We miss it already.

What a spectacular view (although the patio is mostly in the shade all day). The house is really special and so well set up. I loved cooking in the kitchen and reading on the desk. It was perfect for a cool weather vacation to just hang. The “town” is really only two restaurants and a beach and the drive to Setúbal is quite an adventure itself (very winding road on the edge of the cliffs). The one thing that wasn’t super clear was that there about about 100 steps to get to the house from the parking area. The garden walk up the hill is lovely though! The host family is wonderful- helped with bags and offered to make reservations. Would definitely stay again!

it was a great stay here. very good location and Artur is a great host. always super responsive and helpful. helped with all our questions. He also arranged things for our 1 Yr old baby and good games for my 5 and 9 Yr old kids. they enjoyed the place a lot.

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

Great host and apartment, very well prepared and located.

I stayed here 9 days for a workshop, and it was so great to be able to return to a peaceful and quiet retreat and resting space after my long and busy days. There are some cute food and drink spots not far away, and even though it was cooler outside in early December I still enjoyed the garden a lot and loved watching the birds fly from branch to branch. The host is super responsive and gave great local recommendations!

**Excellent Apartment for a Short Stay in Lisbon!** This beautifully decorated apartment is perfect for a few days in Lisbon. It is filled with natural light, well-ventilated, and conveniently located on the first floor. While there may be some noise on busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays, it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. Its proximity to public transportation makes exploring the city incredibly easy. What truly sets this stay apart is the exceptional hospitality of the host. Their communication was prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful. They provided fantastic local tips for celebrating New Year’s Eve, which added a special touch to our trip. Furthermore, when we accidentally left behind our phone and earphones, the host went above and beyond to ensure they were sent back to us via post. This is a stay I would highly recommend, and I look forward to returning in the future!
