Peaceful home! No noise, no light (outside at night). The National Parc is a great place with fantastic walks and amazing things to discover - go to see the Dinosaur's footprints, or the lovely chapel made with old dolmens. Be aware that the beds are narrow, not an issue unless you need space while sleeping.

The house was beautiful! At the height of our expectations. João was very attentive to our requests. The pool and the outside was perfect! I highly recommend this place. Thanks again for everything!

The house is very beautiful and spacious. We especially liked it to be all of stone, it gives it a very rustic look. The garden is also great and very pleasant to spend the afternoon. Fátima was always very helpful.

You are already entranced. Filipe and his son graciously show you to your villa. Please note the word “villa”. Stunning wooden door leads you to a vast sitting area. How civilized. Which overlooks your private courtyard. With your own wading pool. All of which leads to the spectacular entrance of your countryside oasis. Prepare to be awed. Soaring high ceilings, vast palatial windows, state-of-the-art everything, waterfall shower…it is SPECTACULAR. AirBnB should have an extra rating for places like this, because 5 stars is too skimpy for such an outstanding place. By the way, when you are lucky enough to go there (because you MUST!) please give a treat to (or adopt!) the ginger kitten we named Chelsea. For this animal/nature/luxury lover, the whole place was out of central casting. In a word: WOW.”

Quality stay in a modern pool house apartment on the Portuguese countryside with beautiful surroundings. Super attentive and helpful hosts. House has everything you need, is clean and you get the feel they think of all the small things you need. The pool is great in a relaxing environment.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful week at Cintia & Carel’s beautiful property! They greeted us like family, and were always happy to help with anything- from how to work the air con, to recommendations for days out- they were always super responsive via text and nothing felt like any trouble! They were also really thoughtful- putting up some balloons on arrival as we mentioned celebrating our daughter’s GCSE’s, it was a lovely touch. They also left us to enjoy the place uninterrupted, understanding the need to recharge and relax- and oh my gosh- the place is STUNNING! super clean and homely inside (with everything you need) and outside is fabulous! The pool is amazing, the outside kitchen a treat, and the views are incredible. It’s even nicer than their already beautiful photos. We went for one day out to Óbidos (go there!) but honestly felt happiest enjoying relaxing at this gorgeous home they have created. We will most certainly be back! Thank you Cintia & Carel ❤️

We found Mafalda’s place a bit by chance in a wide search in the area. Coming in November, we could unfortunately not make real use of the nice surroundings of the "Country House" (maybe more a cottage). It was slightly disconcerting though to realize that after you leave the main road, take some turns, and enter the rural place with the fancy pool, the actual accommodation is located again nearly at the main road and in the evening we heard trucks. No problem at night, though. The place is cosy, which also means not very spacious but well-equipped. Some kitchen equipment could be in better shape. Heating was perfectly fine. Mafalda could not meet us on arrival, but sent very detailed instructions that made it easy for us to find the place and get in. She also responded immediately at all kinds of times to questions that came up. Later, we met her in person and interacted very nicely. All in all, we quite enjoyed our stay at the Country House and would clearly consider returning.

Ana is very welcoming, made the effort to speak our language, the house is clean and well-equipped, suggestion and all the information available on site. A bohemian and very relaxing place. I recommend it for people who want to relax in peace.

A peaceful, country setting. The home is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host is very responsive and attentive.

We loved the house much better than we expected with heating and everything because it was winter. Very large for several people and with nothing around it is very quiet. I only recommend to review the area to enter as it is sometimes difficult to find the best path in Google Maps.

We love our stay. The place is perfect!! very clean, with all the necessary amenities and more, in addition to being located in a beautiful area. They left us some exquisite amenities that we appreciate. Everything was wonderful, thank you very much António and Helena, we look forward to coming back =)

The place was super nice, cozy and calm just what we were looking for! Kitchen is small but has all you need. We also used the fireplace and that was so perfect for the winter time. I really recommend this place and I’m curious to come back in the summer time!

The stay was really perfect.😊 My girlfriend and I booked the place to visit the Feira Golegã, the Lusitanofestival in Golegã. By car, it was perfect to reach from the property in 40-50 minutes, so we enjoyed the stay very much. Joanna was super friendly, welcomed us, showed us everything and gave us the best recommendations for the area so we could always eat great etc. I would come back anytime. 🫶🏻
