We had the pleasure of staying at Luis and Helena's stunning stone home, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Luis greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. He provided recommendations for local dining and must-see attractions. The house itself is a masterpiece, filled with antique charm and exquisite materials, it’s the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. This is a fantastic spot, we left feeling refreshed and grateful for our stay. If you're looking for an authentic and serene experience, look no further!

The view from the house is absolutely beautiful and the house is very modern and comfortable! The pool is also lovely!

The experience exceeded expectations, Ana explained the amenities of the house very well and indicated several places to eat and visit. The house was impeccably clean and organized, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The atmosphere of the house is very welcoming. In short, Ana was always very helpful and hospitable, it made us comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Communication with Mr. Nélia was always super pleasant, of great sympathy and quick response! It was a super quiet and very comfortable stay. Being a stay in the winter season we had firewood available to make use of the salamander and so the house was very well heated. The kitchen had all the utensils needed for meals, just as the bathroom had all the hygienic products. We'll definitely be back 👌🏼

On the first day the light went down several times but it was nothing that was not resolved ,the house was clean,the space outside calm and comfortable,has all necessary utensils,last night we decided to extend the space to another night and Anabela was 5 stars,responded quickly and was super friendly! Very nice place and I certainly don't regret it. I highly recommend it.

It's been a great stay with family and friends. The house is wonderful, according to what is shown in the pictures and description. Joaquim has been on the lookout and was quick to respond at all times. Super-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds, clean and large bathrooms. Nothing negative to note.

Truly true: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal to visit the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. Not only do they secure well, but they also provide less warmth inside (lack of air conditioning is actually not a miss, it stays cool enough), and screens all the sound from outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack it is highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous renovated Quinta set amongst beautiful landscape and gardens of line and lemon trees, that easily fit a family celebration of 17. Each room with an en suite made it feel like our own boutique hotel. Incredible beautiful surroundings with multiple dining spaces- we were amazed at the value and would recommend immediately!

Memorable few days at this mansion. It's historic charm is preserved and we enjoyed living in the past, with a big open fireplace for the cooler evenings. (Be gentle with furniture, in order to help these vintage pieces last) Its a very spacious home, with guests having access just the ground floor. For the taller people in our group, the antique beds were on the smaller side, but it was a small compromise The pool and garden were great for relaxing, no busy roads nearby to keep the peaceful ambience. Manuel and Carolina were gracious and responsive hosts. Luisa is a very kind housekeeper who was available if we needed anything. There are two friendly dogs living on site who were keeping us company. We'll be back for sure.

Herdade da Maxuqueira is a spectacular place that I hope to be able to return. The interior and exterior areas are very well cared for, equipped and comfortable for the number of people who stay overnight. In addition, Sofia was a great guest always available for any questions that arose. I highly recommend it.

The best vacation we've had with your family! Thanks to Francisco and Filipa's hospitality and all the attention to detail they've had during our stay, and thanks to an absolutely wonderful house, we've had one of the best family weeks ever. It is the perfect house for a group of friends or family who want to enjoy a super relaxed stay. For children, the pool has protection around everything, there is an indoor and an outdoor play area, and everything is super safe, giving the children total freedom throughout the stay. We have looked for this option to avoid beaches this summer marked by Covid-19 and we really don't want anything else! About the house, the outdoor and indoor spaces are super spacious, with multiple options for living or relaxing, the rooms are also super spacious, 3 of which are en-suite. The kitchen is huge and super well equipped, the barbecue is super professional... The garden is a real paradise! Thank you Francisco and Fiipa for providing us with this vacation to be unforgettable!

Very nice place for a Relaxing stay. Pool with great sun exposure. Large house with large rooms. Access to the river at the end of the street about 400mtr. Host very available at all times. I highly recommend it!

We (a group of 3 adults and 3 teens) have just returned from a week at this fantastic property - the photos truly don’t do it justice. The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped and we all loved the pool - the views are beautiful. Communication was quick and comprehensive and family members were on site to greet us on arrival - and available if needed throughout the stay. It was great to spend time away from the tourist trail in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended

Very clean, pleasant space with a beautiful swimming pool, great BBQ area, 2-car garage, very clean, well cared for, equipped with everything that is needed for everyday life. From clothes, cookware, dishes, etc. I have spent vacations in several dwellings and have never found one so complete at all levels. All the surroundings, were of great sympathy and kindness (Odette & Horacio, sister-in-law, brother and mother). Who wants a nice place to relax, nothing better than this one. Note: the images do not live up to space. It is even larger, with a huge saltwater pool. A very nice and relaxed surrounding area. To talk about how much I enjoyed this experience, I would have to write a very extensive text. I only have to thank people like this, who care about providing good moments like this. It should be noted that at the level of appliances, there is absolutely nothing missing. And I end by thanking this beautiful experience.

Wonderful vacations We are a family of ten and we have spent 14 fantastic days in august 2024 at Joao’s family house at Salvaterra de Magos. The house is very big ( as presented in the pictures), very calm., very confortable (including excellent mattresses ) , very clean and with breathtaking views of fields mountains and birds. It is so well oriented that we did not suffer at any moment of heat . Almost no need to use the air conditioner The kitchen is big , functional and fully equipped with all necessary stuff The pool and gardens are wonderful and very well maintained as in the pictures It is close to all facilities and supermarkets and with very easy access for excursions on the Tajo river and to Lisbon area . The only inconvenient for us were the mosquitoes at the sunset . We would like to thank Joao for letting us sharing his wonderful family house , for his kindness and politeness and allowing us to have these wonderful vacations !!

This house was perfect for our two family group of 7. So much space, for everyone to find areas to relax in. The pool and the layout worked fantastically for us and the child everyone feeling safe at all times The furnishing were luxurious and “extras” were brilliant.
