Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Santa Flavia

My wife and I spent a month in Francesca’s place. The apartment is wonderfully renovated at the heart of Palermo's historic district with easy access to supermarkets, cafe, dinning areas, pedestrian streets and the waterfront. We regularly used the nearby bus lines, especially 101, to get to the train station, or in the opposite direction, to explore the town. A free shuttle that starts at Porta Felicia nearby takes you to most points of interest in town. Although we were there in winter the apartment was always warm thanks to powerful ACs with heating. The view from the balcony overlooks the remains of a historic foundry that was once a weapons factory, giving its name to the square nearby.  Francesca helped us book taxis from and to the airport and responded to all our queries and requests promptly. We would stay there again if we return palermo and we heartily recommend it to new visitors. It is a comfortable, well-equipped apartment and the location is unbeatable.

Ivana was so kind and helpful from the time we booked our stay through the time we left. We were not sure what to expect from Palermo but Ivana’s home was a perfect location allowing us to explore everything on foot. The kids loved having their own space and bathroom. I would absolutely recommend her place to anyone. It was great for families as well!

The house has all the comforts, nothing is missing. The beautiful terrace lends itself to very pleasant evenings with the bistro under the house that provided us with excellent Sicilian pizzas and delicacies. The area is quiet and also serviced by easy parking. We felt right at home.

This was a perfect place for my brother and I to stay! With two separate bedrooms and bathrooms we didn’t need to fight for showers privileges : ) It’s located in a great area walking distance to the heart of Palermo’s nightlife. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Fernando!

This was my first visit to Palermo so I wanted to be in the historic district. This place is a fantastic location & feels like home away from home. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching a sea of people pass by. Tour groups galore! Livia was very informative & went out of her way to help. What I found out was that the businesses downstairs are open until late, there’s no concept of keeping voices down after midnight. At 2 a.m. with vigor, the restaurant staff pull down their shutters, & apart from ambulances & local police sirens, & a few drifters, it’s relatively quiet. 😂 Then at 7 a.m the construction crews kick off & of course Livia provides ear plugs.. Bring your own! Everything is at your doorstep! & it is a beautiful space! Livia was very flexible about our check in time & luggage storage. Grazie mille Livia!

Anna greeted us when we arrived and showed us how things work. This apt is much bigger than it appears in the photos. It is very comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located. Anna provides many cooking ingredients and toiletries to make her guests’ stay easier My suitcase did not make it to Palermo from Rome airport, and Anna was very helpful in getting the delivery to the apartment while we were on an excursion. I so appreciated her helpfulness. Definitely rent this beautiful apartment!

The place was really nice, and location was perfect! Also Irene is a very nice host and gave us really good recommendations.

First, Maria is a saint, and an excellent communicator. We arrived on a Saturday night and parking was impossible. She offered to meet us out in the street, joined us in our car and helped us find a parking location. I suggested we find a garage and we ended up going to one close by the apartment where we were able to secure a spot for the evening without her this would not have been possible. The apartment is very spacious good living room with two bedrooms one with a single trundle bed. Maria was quite generous in leaving us a bottle of wine and some biscuits for a coffee in the morning. Very much appreciated. She also was very good in keeping in touch with us to make sure everything was going smooth on our stay. There is a bar right down the street that had very loud conversation that went until 2 to 3 o’clock EVERY morning. Also at 7:26 AM every morning the church bells go off for 130 chimes. This is a good location if you want to be near all the action. Good strong Wi-Fi

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Palermo, Trapani, Erice and Borgetto. Giuseppe’s recommendations for seeing the area was very helpful. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a washer and dryer.

The place was amazing! Absolutely stunning view! Comfortable bed! Easily walk to restaurants and grocery store. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back!

A stunning property, very much deserving of its 5-star reviews. We could not have felt more at home, with every amenity thoughtfully provided by the owners. The villa is furnished to a high standard, is well locked after and spotlessly clean and the outside space..WOW! Erika, the property manager is lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful, going out of her way on a Sunday to fix a small issue with the internet which we were most grateful for. We would highly recommend this property. Due to the rural location, you will definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurant recommended to us which was a short walk away appears to have closed down, unclear if this is permanent or seasonal (we visited mid-September).

Margherita was a really excellent host. Lovely place to stay, out of the Palermo noise but only 12 minutes away by train.

Very well-appointed house and coquettish exterior (several terraces, shower and outdoor toilet) A plus when you come back from the beach which is within walking distance, very clean beach. Francesco very welcoming apart from the language barrier. Accessible narrow path, but you get there quickly. I would recommend it

Massimo is a fantastic host, very friendly, very responsive, very considerate. He offered great advice as well as background information around Palermo and Sicily, and even offered pickup and drop-off at the airport. I stayed for four weeks and wasn't homesick for even a second. The flat is very well located with a local supermarket almost next door, several good bakeries, cafés and restaurants in short walking distance, and a 20 minute walk to the old city centre. I hope to be back soon.

This is an amazing property in a very nicely restored old building - the inside is very uniquely decorated with custom lights, wall art, furniture and even floor art with a hand painted entryway. There is a courtyard that is only for the use of the apartment, a full washer and separate dryer - both of which worked really well, and the kitchen is wonderful - with lots of seating for eating and talking. The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment, so very private from each other - which is ideal for two couples or a family with teenagers that need some space from their parents! We were very happy that we chose this apartment and would not hesitate to stay again.

My comments refer to Natale’s sister, Margaret. Natale had water damage in his apartment just days before we arrived. Luckily we were able to rent Margaret’s apartment just a few blocks away. We absolutely loved our month in Margaret’s apartment. Fabulous sunrise views every morning to the south and beautiful sunsets every evening to the north. This upper apartment is in 4-plex, a brilliant family concept with 2 apartments on the top floor and the parents on the lower floor. Margaret’s apartment has been carefully and creativity renovated, everything is new and beautiful. The Main Street of Cinisi is a 10 minute walk where there are many excellent shops. The Tuesday morning market is a 15 minute walk. The airport is a 15 minute drive. It was truly an exceptional month in the best location. Many, many thanks to Margaret and her family.

Maria is a wonderful host, and she made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived at her place. Her local recommendation is fun and interesting. Her place is very clean, new and centrally located. You can walk anywhere in the city. I would love to stay at her place again and I highly recommend anyone to stay at her place!

Everything is as described. Maria Luisa is quick to answer questions. Elastic check-in and check-out times. Convenient parking. No problem, thank you for a great vacation in Palermo.

Remarkable apartment in many ways, it’s like staying in a house museum, an authentic noble home of its time with frescoed ceilings and chambers rather than rooms. From the entry, there’s a combined double height kitchen/floor to ceiling library with an attached bathroom and laundry. Next, the gorgeous green living room with a balcony, then the evocative blue bedroom also with a balcony. Lastly, a very nicely finished bathroom with shower, free standing tub, bidet, and finally another balcony. Such interesting artwork everywhere! Some of it exquisite even. The place definitely has Ripley vibes to echo the other reviewer, in fact, I rewatched the series here. The location is kitty corner from Piazza Bellini, then Piazza Pretoria, and then therefore practically at Quattro Canti, the center of the city. There was nothing negative worth noting. I had an exceptional experience staying here that I won’t soon forget.

Okay I’m not the type to leave a feedback however Salvatore and his Mom are awesome people you feel the worm welcome and the kindness from the first contact the place is a great stay with a lot of room to move in sparkling mean and freshly scented you will find all what you need and more in it … now enough about the Airbnb let’s talk about the people they are very respectful helpful and kind his Mom Mrs lorenda she’s a amazing she was very helpful and respectful she made our stay an unforgettable experience…. We will be back for more and as I said to them they have a family up in New York City and they’re welcome to come visit any time and we will make sure that they will be always taking care of . ❤️❤️❤️❤️ so much love from me and my little family ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Armando's apartment is very clean and very well equipped with a partially neat decoction,the Jacuzzi is a real plus despite it being cold when we arrived and it takes a while to heat up, we were able to use it only the day after our arrival...a shame. Otherwise I highly recommend this very pleasant accommodation in a good location!!
