Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Santa Cruz

I always choose to stay at Emrehans when I need a place near San Jose. Very beautiful, clean home/yard, great location. Emrehan communicates well and has been very accommodating to me. Very good price for the stay. Would recommend.

First off the photos don’t do this house justice. The spaces, including that wonderful balcony, are bigger than you think. We had 7 adults, a toddler & an infant and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The beds, linens and pillows were so comfy, the multitude of windows to let the ocean air breeze come through, along with fans in the bedrooms, were perfect. The kitchen was the most well equipped I’ve used in an Airbnb before. The wagon, chairs and beach towels were also so nice to have for the short one block walk to Black Beach (one of my favorites in Santa Cruz). Oh and do not let the 1 full bathroom for everyone scare you off. Having the 2 half baths made it all work and we never had an issue. My family LOVED this place and wants to come back so very much. We have spent 26 years coming to Santa Cruz almost annually and this was our best residential experience yet. Thank you to Kim and her Rental Mgr, Nancy, for taking care of us and communicating so well. This family highly recommends!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this Airbnb property. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The house itself was immaculate. It was clean, well- maintained, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made preparing meals a breeze. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable , which was a huge plus along with the sun room which we used as our office. I thoroughly enjoyed the unique charm of the house and the surrounding area.

We had to extend our stay and Lili was more than accommodating. MAHALO!!! The rental exactly as shown; clean, lots of space, large kitchen & dining area with a cozy living room. Bedrooms; all are nicely sized. Beds are a little "tall" (we are petite people), but it's def comfy. Bathrooms; both are nicely sized. Shower is great for those with accessibility issues. The tub; a little "tall" but lots of room. Water pressure (important); ON POINT! Hot water; responsive. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher; great to have all three available. Kitchen; basic items available. Enough to get you by. Parking; room for one vehicle in driveway with some street parking available. Neighborhood; quiet, safe. Husband went running every day. Lots of restaurants, and businesses within walking distance. 15 minutes away from Stanford Medical, which is the reason why we were there. CATS - If you are allergic, be aware. Neighborhood cats hang out on the property. Not much you can do. REPEAT STAY for sure.

This place was a wonderful house to stay in! It felt just like home away from home. There was a little sign for us when we first arrived and ingredients for us to cook breakfast for our first morning including farm fresh eggs! Our babies loved the vacation getaway and we even got to have our fur babies with us. Don and Lori went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Definitely would stay again. Great location. Easy walk down the street to the water. The house had plenty of room for everyone and everything was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my second time staying here. It is very convenient, comfortable, quiet and clean. It has easy access to 101, 92, and El Camino real. I would stay again when I am visiting my family in the area.

If I could come here every weekend I would. The location is perfect! parked on the street, no problems. easy to get in. the hosts answered every question before I could ask it. super walkable location to the ocean and restaurants and coffee and movie theater. can't wait to come back!

The space was not only comfortable and clean but also perfectly located right in the middle of everything we wanted to explore. The bed was incredibly cozy, making it hard to get up in the morning! Great, central location in nice neighborhood. Building complex is on the older side but the unit itself is updated with plenty of very nice features. The unit is spacious, beds and bedding very comfortable, loved the easy to use fireplace, plenty of nice furniture, washer and dryer and appreciated the off street parking space. The kitchen could use a few more things if you want to cook something fancy but we found what we needed. Nice stay, thanks to Laura for her responsiveness.

Ben was super responsive. The batteries died on the fireplace and when we let Ben know that we were cold, he immediately came down to bring us a space heater and replace the batteries on the fireplace. We were warm and cozy after that. There were movies, cards, and games to play, which our son really enjoyed. I really liked the selection of herbs available for cooking. Thanks for a great stay, Ben!

My team and I stayed here for the week. The hosts were very responsive the couple of times we needed to communicate. The hose was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The unit is spotless, spacious, and full of light. It is completely walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shopping in Capitola Village. It also has all the comforts of home if you want to stay in. The onsite parking is a huge bonus because finding close street parking can sometimes be challenging. Paradise Properties is very responsive and friendly. This is definitely my new favorite place to stay in Capitola and one of my overall favorite Airbnbs! I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Beautiful house in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Sitting outside reading listening to the water flow past was wonderful. Would definitely stay again just to relax and read books all day.

A minor issue with our original reservation was quickly resolved by the PowerWest Team. They responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and had a perfect trip. The unit is a beautiful, well equipped condo with spectacular ocean front views. We will definitely visit again and stay with PowerWest.

What a gem! We had a wonderful time at Steve’s house. The house is beautiful, functional and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The property itself was incredible - private and peaceful with many activities for kids (and adults). The house is also ideally located close to downtown Los Gatos. Quick and kind responses from our host. We will definitely try and stay here again.

Beautiful views! Our family enjoyed our stay and the main floor layout was perfect for our extended family's get together. The pool table, foosball table and games were loved by adults and kids alike. A few family members did get car sick on the way to the house though (not the fault of the house or host by any means), so just be aware that it is a windy road to get up there.

The place is amazing, if you want to take a break from the city and connect with nature this place is the right place.

The Hensley house was a great place to stay for our trip to San Jose. Everything was walking distance away and was such a pretty city. I would definitely rent this place again in a heartbeat when I come back. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants and shops, while still offering a peaceful and private retreat. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the home, with thoughtful touches like a fully stocked kitchen, cozy bedding, and a ton of board/ card games for us to use. The outdoor space was a highlight—perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee or winding down after a day of exploring in the jacuzzi. Communication with the host was seamless, and they were incredibly responsive and welcoming. We can’t wait to return—highly recommend!!
