Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sangamon County

Needed a quick place to stay for a family event. David's home was exactly what we needed. quiet neighborhood and great for the pets. David was very friendly and responsive.

Jacob’s place was a great stay—comfortable, clean, and had a cool vibe throughout. The color-changing light strip was a fun touch—I set it to red in the mornings and evenings, which gave the space a nice atmosphere. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, perfect if you like to cook. The shower was another standout feature, with a relaxing rain shower head that made it feel like a mini spa. I also appreciated the remote-controlled heater—it was great being able to warm the place up before even getting out of bed. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and the home is just a few minutes from downtown Springfield. Jacob was a great host and made everything easy. I’d definitely stay again!

Great place that was clean and quiet.

This was the perfect home for the 6 of us! Located in a quiet neighborhood, it was very peaceful as you go for a walk or sit out in the hot tub. Location was also ideal for us to be able to visit the Lincoln Museum/Library, Old State Capitol, Lincoln's Home, Lincoln's Tomb, and take a day trip down the St. Louis. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We highly recommend this home!!

This home was perfect for our stay back in our home state since we moved. We were able to comfortably have family meet us there and never felt like we were on top of each other

HOSTS WERE GREAT AND ON TOP OF THERE GAME ANYTHING YOU NEEDED WAS THOUGHT OF AND THERE FOR ALL KIDS AND ADULTS MISSING A TOOTH BRUSH IT WAS THERE SNACKS LAYED OUT FOR GUESTS TRULY GREAT PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME AT THERE PLACE MUCH APPRECIATED, WAS A GREAT TIME BEING THERE WE WILL BE BACK

Really enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again if we are in the area. Everything was so clean and neat, and the host was always quick to reply to any questions I had. Due to the cold weather we didn't use the backyard much but I love the space and how private it felt. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay

Great location for seeing the Lincoln historical exhibits. We loved being in this historic building. The house is so beautifully maintained. Our suite was a blend of contemporary and vintage. Bed was comfortable, bathroom lovely. Living room comfortable. Used the kitchenette for light breakfast in the morning. Must be able to navigate steep staircase to second floor. Would love to return during summer months and use the lovely outside space.

Place was exactly as described. George was available for any issues and the process was seamless. The skate park was dope!!

I loved this place, it was within walking distance of almost all the historic places I wanted to go to and was a beautiful and clean. It was very nice to stay in a house that was special in its own right. Parking was great and free, and I appreciated the pride flag outside, it made me feel pretty comfortable with who I was giving my money to. I unfortunately did have some issues with the jets in the bathtub, but the hosts were kind about it and promised to look into it before the next guest. The entrance stairs were a bit disappointing as they were a servant’s staircase instead of the grand one inside, but I was satisfied to wander around a bit on my own to see the rest of the house. It would be really cool if there was some more information about it around or someone there to talk to. I did not order breakfast, but the options did look interesting, though unfortunately I couldn’t find a way to order any drinks. Otherwise it was great and I would gladly take another trip here!
