Family-friendly holiday rentals in San Rafael

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Medellín! The location was perfect – centrally located, close to great restaurants, shops, and easy transportation options. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing visit. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Medellín and will definitely book again on my next trip!

Perfect for two couples. A plus is that it is adjacent to a hotel - was able to book a Guatape tours and use restaurant/bar. Apartment had everything needed - didn't have to buy water, as it also had a water filtered water dispenser. Didn't have a need to contact host often, but when we did, he responded right away. Close to main street and a quick cheap taxi to Provenza. A little over a mile to walk to metro station - there are two metro stations A line - Aguacatala and El Poblado. Apartment did look a little smaller than pictures, and we thought it had two balconies. There is only one. Plenty of hot water, however, you need to manipulate, the faucet, as it is either extremely hot or extremely cold - just prepare for it. Lastly, the apartment is situated on a hill, so if you plan on walking around, just know that you will have a steep hill to get back from main road - may want to take a cheap taxi back. Would definitely consider staying again.

Always love staying at Ivan’s place. He’s extremely welcoming, responsive and available. Strong wifi and a strong fan that keeps the apartment very comfortable at all times. Great hot water, comfortable king sized bed, Previously, I mentioned to Ivan that a safe would be a welcome addition to the unit and he made sure to have one installed. Top rated host. Highly recommend. Place is beautiful and clean. Hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. They even put up balloons for my girlfriends birthday which looked amazing. Overall was one of the best places we’ve stayed at.

This place is 100% as advertised. Excellent views, great restaurants and shopping in walking distance, and generally pretty easy to get a ride share outside of rush hour. Short ride to Provenza/Lleras/Poblado/Manila. These areas are potentially walkable, if you are comfortable with Colombian sidewalks. (I…am…not.) Rappi is an excellent and loyal friend to have. Be aware there there is no working pool, turbo, or jacuzzi, but the rooftop space is peaceful and provides excellent views of the valley. Any issues experienced were minor and for the most part addressed. The shower is a bit tricky and most often will provide you the hot water you need with a little finagling. WiFi is pretty fast and generally stable, although it does need an occasional reboot. There’s also one particular yellow-bellied bird neighbor who likes to pop in regularly for morning coffee or afternoon tea on the balcony (whichever one you happen to be on). I stayed a couple of months and would stay here again.

Ivan was a great host. Great communication. I had an issue and the host took care of it promptly.

The property was ideal for our group of 10. Each of us had our own room, though not all had private bathrooms, which wasn’t an issue for us. Ana and her team were incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations, arranging private transportation wherever we needed, and providing fresh towels daily. They were attentive to all of our requests, making the stay even more enjoyable. The only slight drawbacks were some mold in the showers and the need for newer bed linens, but overall, it didn’t detract from a great experience. Location 10/10.

Incredible place, wonderful scenery and spectacular house. The beds a little hard but I have no words to describe the place..a MARAVILLA. very kind Betty and Helena who welcomed us. In the rooms the perfume they put on was very rich but a little intense, it's just a detail... Definitely recommended.

Ideal space to share with family and friends, full connection with nature, super recommended for a total disconnect from the urban.

Just a few things to keep in mind: 1. The stairs connecting the upstairs master bedroom and the bottom of the home are outside the home, so you must get out to go back in. Not a big deal, it was just a bit annoying when it was raining or very cold. 2. The home is at the bottom of the hill closer to the water, which is awesome but the walk up and down is not a small one. However, Camilo and his family were there to help us out if needed and it was a good work out. 3. The home is deep in the mountains so there is a bit of the road that is not paved. The weather was very cold during our stay and it was raining pretty much everyday so we couldn't really enjoy the place to its full extent. However, it was still a very nice and peaceful stay, they provided us with tons of blankets and were always ready to help when needed. The place is beautiful and it looks just like the pictures, full of nature. It was overall a great stay, around 20 minutes drive from both Guatape and El Peñol.

Beautiful location, very relaxing, paula was very helpful and responded quickly to messages, off licence nearby open 24/7, 10 min walk to la piedra entrance where you can get the bus or tuc tuc to guatape or Medellín.

Alejandro greeted me upon my arrival, showed me around the apartment, and gave me clear instructions. He was polite and friendly. The apartment smelled great upon arrival and was well-cleaned. The photos are accurate and overall a great value for your buck, keeping in mind that can accommodate several people. Alejandro was very responsive at all my questions and also, was flexible at my departure. The location is probably the only downside in the sense that is far from the closest metro station. It has everything you need for daily living.

Beautiful place and great location

Allen took care of us very well! The place was exactly the way he described it to us, it being our second time back to Medellín we were happy to have chose this place! We will be back in the future really soon and plan to stay here again 🙂

It is a very nice, comfortable apartment in an excellent and quiet location, near supermarkets and restaurants and very secure. Gloria was always quick in responding when there was a problem in the apartment and it was fixed fairly promptly. The only thing is that some of the furniture and beds could be updated but overall it is a great place to stay.

Great space that’s close to everything. Internet is fast and TVs are great. Great view, great host.

easy and very close arrival, the nice place, has a view of the beautiful landscape, the attention of the butlers 10/10 a beautiful and quiet estate, perfect for sharing with friends and family, we definitely hope to return!

5 stars. Clean. First class. Looks like the pictures. Plenty of extra linens. Confortable bed. Full amenities in the bathroom Outstanding buiding security. Identification required for all who enter. Excelllent restaurant on 4th floor right next to the pool. Gym is adequate and functional. Pool is open until 10pm. This may be the best Airbnb stay that I have ever had.
