An excellent place to spend time as a family, the place is beautiful, just as seen in the photos, super quiet and safe, we would definitely come back! The delicious pool and we are lucky enough to see the volcano clear in the morning!

Karla is an amazing host, and her home is spectacular! From the moment we arrived Karla was there to help and get us settled. The home is comfortable, clean, welcoming. When you go into the backyard you will be blown away by the beauty. It is like you have your private oasis, straight down to the river. We did not want to leave! We recommend this beautiful home to anyone venturing to La Fortuna, you will NOT be disappointed.

This was a fantastic stay. The photos resemble the interior accurately, but what they fail to capture is the beautiful outdoor space! Sunset at this Airbnb is like no other - you have the volcano in the background, with the friendliest horse grazing in the forefront. You might also get a visit from a little chihuahua as well. The covered hottub is lovely, and the location is perfect and so convenient. Check in instructions were very clear. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay again.

We had a lovely time here. Close to La Fortuna and all the attractions around it. Enjoyed the pool, kitchen had what we needed, cars were very friendly. We saw some small toucans enjoying papaya right next to the house.

Josh was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and gave us a lot of ideas about the surrounding area. Feeling right at home, right away. We only wished we booked 10 days not five. Again... the many different birds all around us was cool. The pool was perfect along with the view of the Volcano. I'll come back in the future. We also loved that it was 14 minutes outside of La Fortuna. Which made for a very relaxing stay.

This is a very beautiful place and special experience. The home is designed for optimal indoor/outdoor living and comfort. The veranda with a variety of furniture and the pool are so inviting and comfortable. The space on the farm/estate is so tranquil that we declared our time there a retreat. Jose is a very kind and responsive host who communicates well and is very proactive in giving local recommendations tailored to your interests. The place is furnished well and there is a supermarket very nearby. There are plenty of beautiful things to check out in the area but most are at least 1/2 hour away by car. Like other reviewers, we enjoyed an evening and meal with Jerry as our chef. He is very warm and amiable and the meal was declicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this special Airbnb.

Of all the places we stayed in CR, this is the one place our family agreed that we need to come back to again. This place is beautiful and so comfortable. The rooms are clean and large and each have their own bathroom. Large windows flank the sides and look out to breathtaking landscapes. Juana and Oscar even left us eggs and bread 🥰 We got in late on our first day and they met us at the house to make sure we got in okay - they are super sweet. This was my favorite part of the trip and the house was a major reason for that.

Loved our stay here! Highly recommend! It was very private, clean, and a great location within walking distance to many restaurants! Also loved that it had private parking.

Excellent place, just like the photos, access is perfect for every vehicle, very close to the center of fortune, it has restaurants nearby.

Wonderful apartment in La Fortuna. Great location to the Main Street. Bed was very comfy. Bathroom is newly renovated and includes everything you need (shampoo, soap, towels). The complimentary coffee was also nice.

First night have trouble figuring out water temperature (this is on my side issue) Jesse responded quickly and Send Elmer right away, very impressed response time. The driving direction is very helpful. Also give me the best time window to catch the cap of volcano’s beautiful sight in the morning . We are very fortunate to stay in this location/ host literally match the name La Fortuna. Thanks you, will stay again.

The apartment felt even a bit bigger than in the pictures and had everything you might need, although it felt a bit dark. There is also a washer and a dryer what what very convenient! Lourdes was very nice and provided local recommendations. The location is peaceful and just 7 minutes walk to the city center. Recommend this place!

This lovely place in the jungle is delightful, just a minute's walk down the road to Stella's (friendly delicious breakfast/brunch place), and near great reserves where we had a fantastic birdwatching tour. (Ask Fabricio at Stella's for Danny Vargas' information - great birdwatching tour guide). Miriam and Jorge are incredibly gracious hosts. Highly recommend.

Here you get a great value for money. The apartment that we stayed in was nice. It was peaceful. No noise. At the same time a short walk to the city center. A good restaurant nearby. The area had good safe parking. I will definitely be recommending this place. I would gladly return. Best place I've stayed in La Fortuna. Highly recommended. Air conditioning and well-equipped kitchen. The beds were good. The sofa and TV were impeccable. We had a great time. Thank you so much for us.

This was a great location for exploring La Fortuna. A short walk from everything. Quiet at night.

Veronica's place was great for our 3 nights in Monteverde. It's easy to find in the central commercial plaza across from the bus station. Her name for the place - Cleopatra - is reflected in the creative mural which represents Ra - the Egyptian sun god and the triangular wooden shelves with an eye at the top. There are two sleeping areas with comfortable beds. There is visual privacy between the two, but one can hear people in the space above or below you. Monteverde can be very windy. Veronika has kindly provided soft ear plugs in case a loud wind at night disturbs your sleep. Good WiFi is provided, but may go out for awhile when the wind is intense. Monteverde is a hilly so be prepared to walk up and down some some slopes when you go out. Restaurants seem expensive with variable quality, but the area is a gem to appreciate birds, butterflies, bats and diverse forest types during the day and night. Veronika was wonderfully communicative before, during and after our stay.

Convenient location and comfortable stay!

This house was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with stunning volcano views that exceeded all our expectations. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The hosts were fantastic—super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable getaway!

Great place to stay in terms of location and price. what we loved most was the communication of the host and the help organizing activities. we organized about 3-4 activities with the host and it went very smoothly and the prices were all fair.

We felt very safe at Cristian’s lovely home and really liked the secure, guarded entrance to the property. our host greeted us with a warm smile and welcome and showed us around our room. The pool with waterfall is lovely and was perfect to cool off on the hot days. He was present and available, but not hovering or invasive. He provided Italian coffee and did two loads of laundry for us on two separate occasions, at no cost! (Other Airbnb‘s we stayed at on this trip wanted to charge $20 per load, but Cristian did it for free and with a smile.) Close enough to town to get there in less than five minutes, but much quieter than the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. Even though the kitchenette was small, we made breakfast every day (cooked eggs and cut up fruit.) Google TV was great and we were able to log into our apps easily. We appreciated that there were lots of outlets, both sides of the bed had two which was great to charge our devices. We stayed for five nights, 5 stars!
