One out of our five delicately renovated apartments located on the second floor of a charming, characterful farmhouse. It is one of the oldest buildings of a cosy little village in the Valle d’Isarco in Northern Italy. We find ourselves right in the center of sun-blessed South Tyrol, on a hilltop at the entrance of the Gardena and Funes valleys. Close to the dolomites mountains but not far away from the popular towns of Bolzano and Bressanone it is an ideal starting point to explore the region.

Almhütte Hausberger

100 years old log house, which was demolished in 2008 in the neighboring village and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Special care was taken with regard to the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, waste wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system, the bathroom has underfloor heating. The cosy little house (75m²) served us for 10 years as a residence.

Haus Oberpauler Morgenstund

The apartments should be cozy when we decided to renovate our house built in 1848 as a farm in 2016. The house has been serving as an accommodation for vacation guests since the 1950s. Due to the partial use of the old wood, we have managed to create the homely atmosphere. From the balcony, the view goes west, over Sesto to San Candido and its local mountain Haunold. In summer, the sunset rounds off the day.
