It’s a lovely super-clean rustic old farmhouse with updated appliances, bathrooms, and heating. The old wood floors and woodwork are beautiful and there are plenty of quilts and afghans for cozying up. The TV had plenty of streaming options to sign into, the internet was plenty fast. It was fun to watch the neighbors’ goats out the back windows. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were traveling to the area to attend a funeral in Garland, NC and we found a treasure at The Elizabeth. The home was clean and well equipped and it was very convenient to Clinton and Garland areas. We even took a longer ride to Wilmington, NC for Christmas lights on the Riverwalk and it was approximately an hour drive. Our host, Michael, was friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome. The home had nice TV programming and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. There are not many restaurants in the immediate area so that was very helpful. If we are passing through that way in the future, we would absolutely stay again!

The home was very clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed, plus more. The home owners were very kind and accommodating. Would stay again.

This stay is perfect. If coming with kids, I highly recommend bringing a blow-up mattress and letting them sleep in the loft. There’s plenty of beds to sleep downstairs but our kids enjoyed having their own space up top. Really cool little place. It was 33 degrees outside, and the space heater is hooked up to gas and did more than enough to keep us warm in the cabin, which is not insulated. Saw some deer. Caught some catfish in the river and fried it up for dinner. Kept a fire going in the fire pit for a few hours. Great glamping experience!

I’ve stayed in this house twice and always felt at home and at ease. The kitchen and living room are perfect for hanging out with your company and the house feels so secluded and quiet, meaning we weren’t afraid to have a good time and make some noise singing karaoke on our machine😁 everything is so clean. The host Sharon is responsive, timely, kind and made great recommendations for local stores, restaurants, and venues. I look forward to returning to this house again and again.

Felicia was lovely to work with and her house was in a wonderful spot. An easy walk to a nice trail to take the dogs, very close to some great breakfast spots, and a very quiet road. Felicia and Erin both were very responsive and helpful the entire time with any questions. They were nice enough to let us check in early and had easy check in and out instructions. They left a sweet little basket of snacks and all necessary amenities were available.

Had a great stay ! If you are traveling with kids or a pet this is a great place for you. Plenty of things to do and lots of space. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO WIFI. Although stated in the listing I missed it and had some work I would have liked to complete during our evening. However, it did force me to just relax and let it wait. JoDee was very welcoming and super nice. It was a pleasure meeting and staying with her.
