Beachfront holiday rental in Samar Island

Definitely handy to be right next to the dive shop (Dive Link) and to the beach. Gary and his staff were very very receptive, helpful and kind. Gary booked us transport from the airport to Maya Port and later on from Maya Port to Moalboal. Everything was great, wish we could have stayed longer!

Just the right amount of peace and quiet.Beautifully kept surrounding. There's always somebody from the management to assist with your needs.

This was our second visit to Yollie and Mike’s home. We enjoyed their home hospitality and beautiful water views on our first trip there that we decided to come back a second time with our family of 18. Their home was as lovely as we remembered it with some recently added renovations as well. Food was superb as usual cooked by Ms. Yollie herself. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a night or two with great hosts at Subic Matnog. The island hopping and cave swim added to our enjoyment there as well. Whenever the time comes for us to visit Subic Matnog we’ll definitely stay at Yollie and Mike’s home again.

Ai and the staff were extremely helpful and flexible when my partner and I were delayed a day checking in. The Resort is breathtaking and no matter the time, the staff are always in an amazingly vibrant mood. Without a doubt, the next time I’m visiting, this is where I will book the accommodation. We were that impressed the first day, we booked a second week in the Ocean Villa. Thank you Ai and Staff for an amazing stay!

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The host was responsive and helpful, making the experience even better. Highly recommend and would stay again! Beachfront was also a plus ♥️♥️♥️

Our stay was very enjoyable. Plenty of space for gathering with our group and also for retreating when privacy was desired. The private pool was a great source of fun! (Love the lighting at night) A nice, large home conveniently located in the city. Plenty of dining options. The locals were very friendly and accommodating. One highlight for us was taking surfing lessons from a local surfer: the beach was beautiful and the experience was awesome. The only slight critique would be the low water pressure. It will not keep me from booking again in the future but it would be nice if that could be improved. Without hesitation I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in Borongan.

Very nice beach, staff incredibly kind and welcoming, food is really good. The room is big and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there.

My second stay at the Chateau and the place was perfect for my needs. Bill was very commutative with me at all times, even informing me of the planned power cuts in the area. The staff were excellent and always very helpful, when I bought a group of 18 for swimming, food and Kareoke they coped very well. ( thank you Wendy a goid time was had by all ! ) Bed and pillows super comfy, air con ok, restaurant and facilities excellent. There is now a new set of proper steps to the beach with handrails which is a great improvement. You will have the beach to yourself and perfect for a morning swim ! The location is 20 minutes from town in beautiful quiet surroundings away from the noise. Trycycles pass all day for around 30 pesos will take you to Calbayog Town. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

The place was serene and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing staycation. We had breakfast overlooking the beach by sunrise, and walked on the beach by sunset. We didn't swim on the beach because of the jellyfish, but we were able to enjoy the pool with the sound of calm waves at the background. Our room was also clean and spacious. Disney+ in our room and cable in the shared living room were available and working. Ms. Kat and her family were very kind and hospitable. They offered us different kinds of food, and even had us taste torta, a delicacy in Samar. Ms. Kat was also very helpful in giving directions, and arranging tours and transportation for us in Tacloban, Leyte, and Basey, Samar. The caretakers were also very pleasant and assisted us in getting a van back to Tacloban on our last day. We truly enjoyed our stay as it felt like a home away from home. We hope to be back with our families in the future!

The afternoon we arrived, tatay picked us up in the waiting shed going to Suba Beach and Nipa Huts. The beach was extremely nice and clear and it was during sunset. The nipa hut was spacious and it was breezy and cold during the night. You can order food and Nanay will it cook it for you which was delicious. You can also order cold beer and softdrinks to chill. It was a very lovely experience. My partner and I enjoyed our stay and will most definitely come back soon. The host was very responsive as well. Nanay and Tatay were very accodomodating and hospitable. Thank you ❤️

Had a fun and relaxing staycation! The host was very kind and welcoming, and the place was so quiet and peaceful—perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend this place!

Jean our host was so kind enough to allow us check in late because I had work until 5pm and we arrived there almost 10pm. She was also very considerate for allowing my partner's relatives to come visit (they did no sleep there) and to allow some of the other guests to smoke (only outside). The kitchen is complete with cooking utensils and made our travel pretty much easier due to we do not have to bring cooking tools because Jean's place offers it already. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Plus, the private beach was just at the back of the house which is very convenient. My family enjoyed the prestine sea water of daan bantayan. This trip is one of the best trips that I experienced. My family did enjoyed it as much as I do. and, I am so thankful to maam Jean who's very attentive and responsive whenever I have inquiries. She's the best! Me and my family will surely be back ❤️

Casa de Motes Beach House is without a doubt the best Airbnb stay in Tolosa, Leyte. Eduardo, the host, is incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional, making my stay feel right at home. I'd love to stay here again whenever I get the chance! With love from Alabama, USA.
