Family-friendly holiday rentals in Salzburg

We spent a week in the apartment and felt super comfortable. We had an issue with the sauna, which was taken care of immediately and everything was in the way that we could use the facility again quickly. We also felt incredibly comfortable with Sandra's incredibly warm nature! And knew she has an open ear for all our concerns! In addition: super equipped apartment in which we lacked absolutely nothing!

The place is beautiful! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only thing that irritated us a little was the check in and out times. Check-in is only from 4 pm.. whereby we could only arrive later due to work anyway, but check out 10 o'clock, is quite sporty.. Had this, not really on the screen and slept, then I contacted the host and explained that we slept in and would only check out around 10:30. 10:25 a man knocks on and goes to the chalet to clean the hot tub without further words. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, which has gone down with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

Christoph and Marlene were very helpful and responsive for any questions we had. I was surprised to see that there was an option to provide breakfasts and other amenities. Overall I would highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants a peaceful experience, beautiful views, and helpful hosts.

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

Christine was incredibly welcoming, and provided helpful advice for the local area, including assisting us to find a late dinner. The place was very comfortable, we were 3 people (2 in the bedroom, 1 on the fold out couch). It was a perfect place to come back to each day after exploring the area. Staying here felt like the authentic Bavaria I had read about, I wish we could have stayed longer.

We were very at peace with the chalet. We were with friends because everything was great, there was nothing to complain about. Highly recommend also the landlords were very nice. We will be happy to come back. 👍

Everything as described in their listing. Spacious home near the ski bus that takes you directly to two ski lifts. Would stay again!

a definite rustic stay in the amazing mountains with an incredible view. If you have kids bring art supplies, educational tablet, as their is no tv. which is not a huge deal, but nice to unwind after a hectic day of adventure in the mountains. Very attentive and lovely, and their is a great restaurant right up the road! Except the bare minimum as far as supplies, so bring your own if you're driving ❤️

We spent 4 days at Marius's house and were very comfortable. The house is very clean, very organized and Marius is very attentive to our doubts. The very nice and quiet area, perfect to be with children and pets!! I hope to be back on a new occasion!!

The apartment is awesome! Super equipped, very well maintained, with a small garden and a beautiful terrace with seating and lounging facilities. You have a great view of the mountains all around! It's about a 25-minute walk to Königssee and it's a great starting point for activities in all directions. Anita and Johannes are very warm and helpful hosts who gave me great tips on hikes, etc., and thus made my stay perfect. Thank you for your kindness and will be happy to come back!

Renate was the perfect host - very friendly and helpful and made good communication before I arrived. Her accommodation is an ideal base to explore the area- perfect for skiing but also for summer walking. Close to all amenities- shops, ski storage, bus etc. I was apprehensive it would be noisy but it was very peaceful, lovely to be close to the river. I would stay here again and recommend it.

The house is located at the top of the mountain with a stunning lake view. The drive there was pleasant and provided spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The place was fully equipped with everything you need, there were countless blankets, pillows and an abundance of towels in the room. As well as in the kitchen, there were even spices available. Particularly noteworthy is the host Katharina, who welcomed us with a radiant smile every morning and provided us with valuable tips for things to do and see. There were also a variety of brochures and maps for hikes and activities. In the evening we had a lot of fun with the available board games. The value of this place is unbeatable, especially given its incredible outlook and amenities. We would highly recommend this experience. Thank you for everything and look forward to a second time!

We had a lovely visit at Marias place. Very clean appartment with all equitment you need. And Maria was very helpfull and Quick in answering messeges.

Our stay at Rea's place was beautiful! The spacious apartment is very stylish and very unique ! We felt right at home and it was very nice that our Bengal cat was allowed to come with us too! Also ideal for musicians,as we could use the grand piano!

Really beautiful location - as stunning as the pictures suggest. The garden was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. It's also very close to town with beautiful walking routes in all directions. The Berchtesgaden location is great for sight seeing with the Kehlstein House, Koenig See and Salzburg all about a half an hour away. Having a swimming pool to use was a real bonus too.

We had a great week at the apartment Bergkristall - the apartment was very clean, well equipped and the view is great. The hosts were super nice and we'd love to come back :-)

Very nice and big apartment, the children has also very good time at the playground. The owners are very kind. Worth the money.

Ann is extremely cooperative and easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean, quiet, functional, and everything was there to live independently. I would like to highlight Ann's love for animals. I was there with my 6 month old dog to IHA Wels, and Ann took touching care of both of us and recommended the best walks in the area. It was a win to meet Ann and spend a few days in her apartment. Anytime again! Highly recommend!

It’s already our second time staying here. It’s amazing. The view is breathtaking and the apartment had everything we needed. Pool access after a long ski day was just perfect! Exceeded our expectations!

Highly recommend renting from Gregor for a great stay in Salzburg! Walkable access to bus 27 to reach downtown. Nice playground and farm animals to keep kids entertained. Several great Christmas markets around the holiday’s. Thanks again!

Quaint, beautiful house in a picture-perfect backdrop in the mountains. Maria and Josef welcomed us warmly and "showed us around". Even away from the warm welcome, the two were super friendly and helpful, just the way you want your hosts. In the apartment you will find everything your heart desires, including a fully equipped kitchen. It should only be mentioned that this is not a separate apartment, but the upper floor. Didn't bother us and we had our peace upstairs. We were here mainly for the Biathlon World Cup, it is about 20km to Ruhpolding and from there free shuttles go to Chiemgau Arena. Generally superbly located, you are within ten minutes of the highway. My wife and I loved the stay, clear recommendation from us.

Pleasant and well-equipped apartment in the suburbs of Bad Mitterndorf. All perfect. The only shame was that the swimming pool offered was closed for technical reasons - but that was out of the host's control.
