Family-friendly holiday rentals in Salem

This was my second time staying here within the last six months and I’m already planning my next visit back! This Airbnb is truly unbeatable. Watching the sunset from the hot tub is heavenly, and I feel so relaxed the whole time I’m here. The king bed is soo comfy and all the amenities here are great. Can’t wait to visit again soon!!

I am a traveling business person and I have stayed at many Airbnb rentals across almost a dozen states and Ray and Mark have put together the most tastefully thought out space I have ever rented it is a for sure choice for all

We were in town for a memorial service and chose Dallas home for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautifully remodeled and decorated the home was. It was a true treat to stay in this lovely home. The backyard is a peaceful sanctuary with a water feature and cozy covered area. The covered hot tub area was our favorite spot, so private and quiet. We stayed in the master bedroom and found it to be very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, even spices and condiments. Overall I would say it’s the best experience we’ve had with an Airbnb stay. Dallas was so considerate and helpful. We had dinner at one of the restaurants that he recommended, Tabor tavern and had an incredible meal with curry mussels and kale Caesar salad and literally the best burger I’ve had in ages. 2 thumbs up 👍

Staying at Therese house was peaceful and relaxing. The home is clean and comfortable. My 2 little ones loved the place. Thank you Therese for sharing your home

The location was very quiet and private, the garden was lovely. The inside was clean and had all the items needed for our stay. Debi was an amazing host. She checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything else. There were snacks and fresh flowers when we arrived! It was a very nice getaway.

This place is an absolute gem! The host, Uladzimir, is so responsive. this home is pristine clean and beautifully updated. It is in a great location. We can't believe what a great deal we got on this home. We felt right at home and everything that we needed was provided. We loved the updated kitchen, the hot tub, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is amazing and the master bathroom is incredible. We hope to be able to stay here next year when we come to visit. It's an absolute amazing place to stay!

Diane's airbnb is conveniently located for us to visit our kids and grandkids, and also anyone who has students at Reed College. We love the feel of the neighborhood, and walking around at night is beautiful around Christmas time with lights on houses. Also, I should add, the bed was very very comfortable. Dianne and Michael made us feel welcome!

I wanted to plan a surprise Birthday/ Valentine’s Day getaway for my wife & stumbled upon this gorgeous offering! It had everything we needed. My plan was to drop off balloons & gifts 1 day prior but we were expecting an ice storm so, that plan was thwarted. Regardless, Mary was willing to help me with that in order to help create the magic. Plan B! I called the kids & my in-laws & had them get there before us to setup the balloons, gifts & cake. Since the place is pet friendly we also got to see our favorite little fur baby! When we got there my wife was very happily surprised to see the reception committee! She had no idea anyone was coming, let alone where we were staying. We walked into a beautifully & cozy decorated living room. Immediately to the left was the pool table. Birthday music was already playing. The bedrooms were very spacious & clean. The bathroom was also very spacious. The surprise was a huge success! Everyone had an awesome time & we all agreed- 5 stars!

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

we loved our stay here! the beds were so comfy and the backyard/patio area was so beautiful. we even ran into Veronika's mom who gave us yummy kiwi berries to try. also loved talking to the chickens

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Susan and Steve's Casita for an extended stay. They are such kind, friendly, and attentive hosts! The Casita is so comfortable and quiet and you can't beat the location. The Alberta Arts District is a vibrant community with excellent restaurants, art galleries, taphouses and cafes within walking distance. Susan and Steve had excellent recommendations for us on places to go in the area. We highly recommend this accommodation for your next trip!!

Great option if you are traveling with a dog. Lisa was a great hostess!

I had a great experience during my four-night stay at Debra and David's home. The house was truly wonderful, making me feel completely at home. It was evident that the house was filled with beautiful memories. Debra was very helpful and attentive to her guests. All the essential amenities, along with some additional comforts, were readily available—everything you could possibly need was provided.

House was close enough to walk to Gill at OSU for basketball games, and close to niece in her apartment. Was a wonderful senior home basketball weekend! Room heaters worked well. Thanks soo much

Elaine’s tiny home is a lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle, yet also very close to shops, restaurants, and more. The Alberta Arts district is a gem and was definitely my favorite part of visiting Portland. Elaine has great recommendations available for anything you could think of wanting, and she’s super friendly and responsive if you need anything else. I highly recommend staying here!

The room is a large renovated garage and you wouldn't even be able to tell without looking at the closed off garage door. It's spacious and very accomodating.

Loved the country charm of this place! Danny and LeeAnne have done an incredible job preserving it's character and quaintness. Everything was immaculate and well thought out.

Our second stay in the apartment, and we found it a pleasant spot. Comfortable, cozy, clean and a responsive host. We appreciate the lovely yard and quiet neighborhood. We’ll be back! Thanks Bridget!

We stayed for 2.5 months here and we loved our stay. The house has everything you would need for a young family and Deborah was always responsive and courteous and provided us with everything we needed. We loved the large kitchen, the comfortable bedding, and the homey feel of this place. Looks even better in real life than in the photos. It’s 5-min walking to a fantastic park with playground and lots of beautiful ducks which was a hit with our toddler. There’s a bit of train noise at night but it was manageable for us.

The location is absolutely amazing. LeeAnn and Danny were the most amazing people. Thankful for the opportunity to stay at their property and getting to know them! We got a lot of quiet time for reading. Beautiful bonfires. Warm coffee in our cups. LeeAnn made sure we were ALWAYS taken care of and Danny made sure the first was well lit, as my friend and I had no idea how to keep a fire going. Haha. Great communication. If we had questions or needed something they answered quickly. We had a cute moment feeding the goats. I am so excited to plan a trip back! I appreciate you LeeAnn and Danny! You’ll be seeing me sooooon!!!

Jayme’s place was very convenient for us when we came to Wilsonville to visit our family. Clean nice place and it’s great for us that she shares her house on Airbnb when she is not at home!!

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

This place was amazing!! They were so kind and accommodating to my dog! They had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and had fun things to do while we were there! The jacuzzi and sauna were amazing also! Would recommend to anyone and would absolutely go back!
