Delightful hideaway in Rye

Absolutely fantastic house - beautifully decorated and lots of room for the family. It is very convenient for town and the playground is just across the road (we went twice a day during our stay!). It is on a main road though so something to consider if you have errant dogs or small children. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it!

Amazing house and location to spend NYE in - really great size for a group of 8 of us and lovely very handy location. Lovely communal area and bedrooms were ideal. Bottle of fizz for NY was a lovely touch! Only a couple of small issues for next time to be aware of -the WIFI connection to the TV didn't really work and the beds were quite uncomfortable in the upper floor rooms. But for a night or two it's no issue.

Hannah is simply a delightful and insightful host. Very kind and graciously accommodating to our queries and needs. Not only is the environment warm and lovingly filled, it’s spacious and giving with memories, laughter and gleeful spells. Located in a very safe and welcoming neighborhood, that has an enchanting morning light; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids were ridiculously giddy with excitement to explore the toys and books available. Fantastic little stay. Beautiful cabin and very relaxing. All clean. Great walks around the cabin ( we walked to the castle and back) The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend. We will def be coming back.

Just home after an amazing short break at the Windmill. Greeted on arrival by Claire. Lovely welcome basket of fresh bread and eggs from her hens. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Bed so comfortable with high quality bedding. Lots of hot water in the spacious shower along with bath to soothe the aches after a day exploring. Perfect location, so peaceful and quiet. We found the info on the renovation of the windmill very interesting. It’s been restored with love and kept its character. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Lovely and cosy cottage located only a short walk away from the beach. The property was perfect location and had all the necessities included. Would definitely recommend and will be back again for sure . Only consideration is that no major shops or restaurants at walking distance (or we didn’t find any) around the location so would recommend taking food and beverage along with you for added convenience.

Clear instructions from Clare led to an easy check in and there began a very relaxing short stay for our extended family. The house was well equipped and spacious with everything in working order. The highlights were walks across the beautiful sands with the kids and our dog. Would revisit.

This is our 2nd visit to Casa Cromarty, it’s a great location for us to meet up with family. The property is spotless and very welcoming, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Check in and out was flexible and easy. Eastbourne centre is just a short drive away and the children love going to The Pier. We look forward to booking again with you in the future!

Wendy-Jane was an exceptional host, her home was beautiful and very cozy, with a gorgeous and very friendly cat. We loved the surroundings and the scenery. Wendy had a stunning selection of books on her shelves and CDs in her collection. The home was perfect for us, and we would love to return. The hot tub is an great addition and it was lovely to chill out in at the end of the day. There's lots to do in the surrounding area with a very charming in right opposite the house and another pub down the road with an abadondoned castle next door. And a short drive from both Hastings and Eastbourne made for a perfect weekend get away!!

Flor and Niall's house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean on arrival. We all slept well as the beds were very comfy. The proximity to the beach was brilliant! One minute walk away means you can go to and from the beach several times a day, to swim, play or go for a walk. We found a nearby playground and also football goals, a basketball court and skate ramps at Johnson's Field. We really appreciated the Welcome Information sent by the hosts before our trip and enjoyed the loop walks highlighted. Also, round the corner, was one of the host's recommendations, Rye Bay Bar & Grill, which was really relaxing and friendly with great food.

A cosy cottage well placed in the centre of Tenterden. The kitchen had everything we required. Two comfy sofas in the lounge and two double bedrooms. Although there is no immediate parking outside a local car park is a very short walk away. Even closer is a footpath to the local Tesco store where you can shop with ease and get 2 hours free parking. Happy to recommend a stay in this cottage.

I had the most wonderful stay at Tanya's place! It is a super quaint place with nice interior and wonderful views of the beach. Tanya is also very nice, friendly and welcoming and quick to respond. This is the perfect place for a city break, a tranquil place that is located close to some vibey beach bars, baristas with great coffee and cute shops! I couldn't recommend this place more, in fact this has been my best airbnb experience!!! I am definitely coming back 😊

Perfect house - we were a group of 8 old friends reuniting with a weekend away and it couldn’t have been a better place. Clean spacious house, super comfortable beds and great kitchen area with lovely garden for BBQs and ping pong table was great. Walking distance to the beach and Rye just a bit further. Will be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Penny's place. It is in a great location to visit Rye and Hastings, and we had a lovely walk around nearby Pett Level. Penny was very welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation is of an excellent standard with nice outdoor space and a well-equipped kitchen. We would be very happy to stay here again when visiting the area.

Spent a good 2 nights with our grandsons 5&8 years old. Good communication and easy check in. Caravan is spacious and clean Easy walk through the pedestrian only exit to St Leonards beach, pebble & shingle but when the tide is out very safe and flat sand for the boys to play. Hastings with all the attractions approx 2 miles away. The caravan is in the area adjacent to all the facilities, which, is stated on the description but just to be aware it is extremely noisy, both with people returning to their caravans late & deliveries and staff arriving early morning. Be aware also that the park charges extortionate prices for passes to use the facilities, (not owners fault) we did not buy as plenty to do in hastings and being lucky with the weather we did not need an inside pool as we had the beach, but if the club room and entertainment is something important then maybe check with haven the prices before booking. If entertainment isn't high on priorities and fine with noise we recommend

We had a great few days at Dales place, we were a large group of friends coming together with a small children and it was ideal, the kitchen diner is the kind of kitchen you dream of for your own home. The place is pristine with beautiful furnishings in every room. The bedrooms are all large and very comfortable. Location is great if you’re visiting St Leonard’s or Hastings and want to be just outside the mix. Dale was great and very attentive. Couldn’t recommend more.

We are just back from a few blissful days at Judin's cottage. This was by far the loveliest airbnb house we have stayed in. Travelling with two small (and noisy!) children can be stressful but we felt instantly relaxed, and at home, and Sarah and Mark were perfect hosts. The cottage was so beautifully furnished, with such comfortable beds, and there were so many lovely touches, that made it feel like a boutique hotel. The highlights were collecting fresh eggs in the morning and making friends with the sheep. Our daughter misses her favourite sheep called 'biscuit'! We were blessed by the most gorgeous weather but this beautiful cottage would be special at any time of year and we would love to come back!

White Sands was a great family house for two families including 5 children from age 15 to 7 with loads of space and a great garden. The house had everything we needed, is light and airy and very close to the beach as well as great for going to visit Dungeness and Rye. Karl was very responsive and provided lots of detail for when we checked in. Would highly recommend.
