Cottage holiday rentals in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert

We had a great weekend in the Cevennes with our family with our dog. Ideal location in the middle of nature, very welcoming and accommodating host. We loved the sunny terrace with the pool for breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for everything!

The stay went very well in Daniel's cottage which was very well able to welcome 😊 us. We enjoyed the hot tub and the super pleasant garden with its magnificent view of the mountains! In addition, the accommodation is very well equipped: barbecue, fondue and raclette were at the rendezvous, and we were even able to make a fire for a warm atmosphere.

We had a pleasant stay at Sylvie's place. The place is very relaxing and full of charm. We recommend a stop at their place!

Beautiful house, very large and very pleasant. We were a group of 12 people for New Year's week with children and the various living spaces allowed us to spend our 5 days without stepping on each other. The house is very beautiful, the kitchen functional, 2 fridges to store all the groceries (because the first supermarket is 30 minutes away, it's better to plan ahead). As the house is very large, some rooms are still a little more difficult to heat than others, especially the games room. The environment is superb, chestnut trees all around, we took beautiful walks. I would highly recommend this place, we will gladly go back!

Very nice chalet, clean, well equipped. Separate toilets are very nice. Air conditioning too because, as soon as the sun is sunshine, it's hot. Very large terrace allowing to eat comfortably while having the laundry drying and we can still circulate (we were 1 couple with 3 young children)! Very nice pool with space for children and hot tub/bubbles weather every hour. Quiet residence and wooded residence. We had a lovely week!

We had a wonderful stay: a very well-equipped, "lively" apartment since rented part of the time but also regularly inhabited by its owners, a very studied "sea" decor, a quiet residence, close to all amenities: very large beaches, allowed dogs for some, shops, Luna-Park, karting... An ideal stop to discover the Thau pond, its unspoiled nature, by bike if necessary, its fishing villages and shellfish producers, Sète, etc. Listening hostesses, responsive, very pleasant during our exchanges. We highly recommend this rental and plan to come back to continue our discovery of the region!

We had a wonderful time at Magali's. Magali gave us a great welcome, warm and available. The house is very warm, it is located in a small slice of heaven that's quiet and in the middle of nature. It was a nice break for our little family, a real favorite.

Bardou is a magical, timeless place, small mountain hamlet surrounded by nature. We disconnect the moment we get there.

Beautiful space, respectively and tastefully restored. Andrew and Caroline were so friendly and helpful. They responded almost immediately everytime we messaged. They always had a local recommendation up their sleeve! Their sons and in laws often stopped for a chat and made us feel very welcome. Comfy beds and lovely clean linen. Pool area is stunning! We'll definitely return if we find ourselves in the south of france again!

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped in a surprising and peaceful place, surrounded by vineyards overlooking Mont Saint Clair and the Etang de Thau. Great value for money. We recommend it!

A great stay at Pascale's, in a beautiful location, with superb views of the Cévennes forests from the terrace. Pascale is great, and has excellent advice on things to do in the area, it was a pleasure to interact with her! The village is within walking distance, allowing you to go for a drink at the small restaurant, and you can go hiking from the cottage by following perfectly marked trails. In short, it's great, don't hesitate!

Jerome is 'The Host in a million' - he was kind, generous, thoughtful, and very considerate. He was always there to help if we needed, and respected our privacy when we just wanted to chill. He is a mine of information on places to visit, restaurants, activities, tips, hints and everything you may need. And he went way beyond what was expected to make our holiday truly memorable. You couldn't not want for a better host. His gite is just perfect with everything may need. Right in the heart of a vineyard, you can eat alfresco all the time whilst taking in the spectacular views of the vines. Every little detail is thought of to keep all members happy. Lots of wonderful sites to see in the local area, and quiet little beaches to soak up the sun, sand and local wine. This is my little bit of heaven and highly recommended.

Isabelle's place is full of charm and very pleasant for a family stay. It is well equipped and close to all the essential shops in the beautiful village of Saint-Jean-du-Bruel. Isabelle is really attentive and really appreciated. It is the ideal accommodation to enjoy a splendid region, rich in landscapes all more beautiful than the other.

Les Cévennes is a box of precious objects including the Mas de RIBARD! Calm, serenity...a real haven of peace, a connection to nature: birdsong, murmurs of the river, a parade of butterflies, dragonflies, damsels, beetles... Then walks, hikes, canoeing, local markets, swimming ... accompanied by the conviviality and sympathy of the Cevenols. 2 great weeks in this cozy, clean cottage. Cottage in a quiet green setting, it feels like home. There's nothing missing dishwasher washing machine. The bedding is of extreme quality with the ensuite bathroom for each bedroom. You can book without so much!!! Thank you a thousand times to Maud for his presence his discretion his mood equals his extreme kindness despite all the work that this property requires. it must be said that it is well-supervised.

After a ride on an adventurous road, we came to a beautiful place. The views are magnificent. The pool is wonderful. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated with a lot of art, also from Chantal himself. Chantal is very attentive and authentic. The house is full of history. There is only WiFi in the bedroom. Cooking in the kitchenette is a bit of a challenge if you want to cook extensively, but we managed fine. We had a lovely time. A place to come back again.
