We had a lovely stay at Citrus Creek. It’s stunningly beautiful with so much food on the trees and plants outside your door. Everything was welcoming. We ended up eating at the restaurant every night. Not only was it convenient, it was delicious and affordable too.

This place. A rare touch of nature! An adventure where you go straight into living a life close to off the grid and lacking very little or nothing. Bring some good food for yourself and learn to use what is there. Jeffrey who works at 3 rivers gave us a local tour where he shared his pace and beautiful knowledge of the nature and all the growing plants. How they affects us and what we can use them for. We had a nurturing meal cooked by Jeffrey too. I recommend this place with my heart! We spend four days there and still have much left to experience. I went there solo-Mom with my 7 year young daughter and it was days of Paradise for us. Jem came to recieve us and took the first zip-Line rides with Tulsi which were a great welcome. Helpful place and hitchhiking amd busses are so recommended to do with a feeling of safety.

Unforgettable. Thank you, Martin. The dome is cozy and comfortable, and I enjoyed the immersive experience in nature, spending time outdoors grooving at that spectacular view and all the sounds of the jungle. Being able to pick fresh oranges from the trees and make my own OJ every morning was a delightful touch. This was the ideal way to disconnect and truly appreciate the beauty of Dominica.

This is truly an offgrid experience. Sian is very knowledgeable with her experience in setting this up since 2011, so it is a great opportunity to stay for a few days, experience it, and ask questions. The cabin has view that is even better in person than what is in the photos - reading a book in a hammock with the sounds of the nearby hummingbirds and the distant waves is simply amazing. Do be aware that there will be insects as it is a very remote and near-wild location. Bug killing spray was provided and there is a mosquito net and all of my nights were peaceful with no interruptions. If you are concerned just spray and kill the first night and they will mostly avoid the inside of the cabin for the rest of the stay. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Sian is very busy with the property and children but was still able to take the time to show me around and answer questions.

Situated right next to the beautiful Pagua River in a delightful part of the Concord Valley, if you love nature this is the place for you. With hosts willing to share local knowledge, foods and take you to wonderful places such as the Emerald Pool and Kalinago Village. The cottage is basic but well equipped and is very affordable. We highly recommend a stay here.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I slept in the cabin by the river. For one night, and a 'roots experience', that was amazing : water noise of the river, calm of the forest, peaceful nature retreat. As well, Nanichi is a amazing host, very human, sumpathetic and happy to help, guide and discuss. You have a small local restaurant 2 mins away from the cabin, wifi hotspot in this restaurant as well as near the second cabin (3 mins away). Everything was impeccable. Great stay at Antoinette's Serene Getaway! Pretty little cabin as a bedroom with a terrace overlooking the surrounding jungle + hammocks. Fully equipped kitchen & shower room a bit lower. No hot water, but not necessary given the outside temperature. Very easy access if you have a 4x4 because dirt track, otherwise it rubs a little underneath the car. Thank you Antoinette for this beautiful discovery. Happy hosting!

We had such a great stay at Roseline and Riley’s place. They are just wonderful people and I’m so glad we stayed here and got to meet them. The location is a prime spot for all the nearby hikes and the natural rock water pool is great for relaxing in after. We especially enjoyed it on a windy, rainy day - it’s covered nicely and kept us warm. Roseline is a great cook so come hungry as she provides ample DELICIOUS portions + fresh juice if you choose that option. She clearly posts the prices for each meal. We were lucky to be the only ones during our stay but the rooms are set up to still afford privacy. Everything is clean and orderly and we appreciated the comfy chairs to relax in. This place is highly recommended! Thank you Roseline and Riley for hosting us - it’s definitely a highlight of our trip!

Maurice and Lisa are as amicable, gracious, and courteous as can be. They are wonderful people and excellent hosts. Highly recommended to anyone exploring the area.

Melissa’s and Andy’s place is a fantastic and unique place. Its in the nature and they have everything available for you. The fact that you get to the place with zip line makes it even more interesting. The food they serve is fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Dominica!
