Holiday rentals with lake access in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean

An unplanned and unplanned stay, Maxime welcomed us warmly and simply. Close to everything, impeccable and functional, this is the spot to book. The view of the bay is superb. Maxime is prompt in his responses, friendly and endearing. It was flexible on some requests, opening. Thanks, this is an experience 5⭐️!

Just like in the pictures, the location is stunning. The only drawback was that there were no obvious signs indicating where to take turns, making it quite difficult to locate the place. The staff at Tavata Chalets was really helpful when our car became stuck while attempting to find the Airbnb. They called the towing company and stayed until the problem was resolved. We really wish we had another day to enjoy ourselves, but owing to a few unforeseen events, we were unable to do so. Overall the experience was unforgettable hahah.

Nice location by the lake!

The Chalet was easy to find and was cozy. The description was accurate, and the place was clean.

Beautiful, comfortable and intimate cottage. Nature and the river offer magnificent views and the cottage's interior layout offers spaces for relaxation and contemplation. In short, a real little paradise to get away from the everyday! Not to mention that Valerie and Dustin are caring and warm hosts.

This is an ideal place for a quiet getaway. Everything is exactly as advertised and the property is beautiful and private - tall cedar hedges on both sides guarantee privacy. There are no stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are major grocery stores and pharmacies a short drive away - everything you could possibly need. The home itself is immaculate and well equipped, and the host is friendly, proactive (we were late arriving and he called us, concerned that we might be lost), and easy to reach. This was possibly my very best Airbnb experience. Great value for a quiet private escape from the city. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

A very beautiful Chalet. Lots of room to spread out, gorgeous patio, small kitchen with all the necessities. Great parking right next to your front door. This place was bigger, better, and more beautiful than we had anticipated based on the pictures. Two floors of spaces, 2 living rooms, a giant master suite and a huge patio…: this place is wonderland in the middle of nowhere. Which is what makes it peaceful!

A nice hostel for a stopover. There are the basic utensils for cooking in the accommodation and access to a shared kitchen for a more elaborate meal or for a coffee in the morning (prepared by them). For cleanliness freaks, go your way.

We like that place so much, it was our third visit. Last spring and fall and this winter. Each season presents wonderful and spectacular sceneries. Walking distance from bike and walking path along the Bay and vue of this majestic Fjord. This winter we could walk on the iced Bay around a village of ice fishing cabins and tents. Very impressive… snow mobile, cross country ski. It was very cold out but this appartement is so cosy, it was nice to warm up with a little fireplace in the living room with a glace of wine. We also could capture few colorful winter sunsets. Beautiful pictures to add to our Saguenay memories. We certainly will be back.

Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Couldn’t ask for any more! Great open concept! Would recommend to anyone coming to the area.

What a beautiful place to spend a weekend in a beautiful location both inside and around. Karl is super friendly and very caring. All the rooms were clean, we found everything that was described and even more. A quiet and peaceful place, I highly recommend it! 👌🏽

Very well equipped, very clean, spacious, well located, little traffic. Facing the beach, ideal for going back and forth. As pictured. The municipality is very nice. I recommend it.

The apartment was perfect! Really well-equipped, comfortable and with a view right out your front door. Even nicer than we expected. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to stay again.

An extra host, unheard of, thank you Stéphane! I would just say that the place is not the most suitable for young children in relation to access to the lake, but you are able to offer all kinds of surprises to interest the youngest, special mention to your son Eliot for the hiking/trout outing, the kids will keep a great souvenir.

We spent two very relaxing days in the chalet. The location is beautiful and the cottage is very well appointed. I would recommend it 100%
