Excellent value, quaint, quiet and just flat out pleasant. Excellent location and beautiful setting. Can’t wait to return and explore more of Salt Spring Island. What a gem!

This is a great property that exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing with a beautiful view over the ocean and we loved our time in the hot tub taking in the view. The suite was so comfortable and nicely decorated and we felt right at home. It was so nice to be able to walk through the yard and right out to the beach and the sea walk. Margie was very friendly and a great host and we would highly recommend this property!

This is a little slice of heaven nuzzled into a wooden hillside - completely private and secluded. Great views and all the amenities of home. This wasn’t our first visit and it definitely will not be the last. Thanks for being such a great host!

Jane was a fantastic host! Her place was cozy, we had a long stay and enjoyed every minute! The hot tub was a perfect way to end each day…we had the most incredible weather. Easy walking distance to downtown.

The place was wonderful! Really spacious, great views, and the hot tub was such a great bonus. Gabrielle was helpful and flexible about our check out time. The beach access was lovely, and the space is very well equipped for a large group. Some things to note are a tricky drive down to the property, and a large glass coffee table which was beautiful but a bit dodgy with little kids. Over all, though, a great spot for families, especially if the kids are a little older.

We had a lovely stay on Mayne in Kate's cozy cabin. The hot tub was great, and we loved the quiet forest setting. Mayne is also a nice island for cycling - fairly quiet roads, and slightly less hilly than some of the other Gulf Islands? An excellent spot for an extended weekend getaway!

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Great place for our family of 4 (2 kids), comfortable and lots of space. The fridge and kitchen had a few basic food items which was lovely, include cream for our coffee. And we loved the espresso machine! The location was perfect, really close to town. Host was very friendly and let us check in early which we really appreciated!

Amber’s place was a great place to relax after a day spent exploring and enjoying southern Vancouver island. We especially loved the close proximity of Thetis Lake regional park trails to explore and enjoy with our dog. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly.

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

This is the second time we have stayed at Dianne's place. I love the location, the king size bed, the bathrobes, and the new kitchen!

Rosie's Studio exceeded our already high expectations from reading the online reviews. You get unlimited access to feeding the friendly goats; Bella, a super gentle and playful golden retriever who comes and goes as she pleases (and will tease you into playing fetch!); and a stunningly peaceful farm stay with incredible views all the way to Mt Baker. The studio itself was great - clean and with lots of character, including the large circular windows that provide an ideal foreground for photos of the view. We really appreciated the breakfast staples and treats that Trish left, as well as the art supplies. When you're not out exploring Salt Spring, this is a great place to just relax, and my wife used the art supplies to paint the landscape, adding it to the wall of art from prior guests. Location wise, it's about 20 minutes to Ganges by car. We enjoyed it, as it felt far enough away from everything to feel secluded, but everything was still convenient. Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Christine's place! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The only minor drawback was that the TV screen size was too small and didn't run Netflix.

Billie was super responsive and hospitable. She met us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed. She even customized a welcome for us. Very cute bungalow and very cozy!

It’s a beautiful place with an incredible view . Paul is straightforward and proactive. It’s a good price compared to Poet’s Cover and right next to the ferry terminal. If you come here I hope the following tips help so you can prepare accordingly: 1. There are some flies and ants inside the cabin. 2. There are absolutely no food items here so bring it ALL down to salt and pepper to coffee to cooking oil to shampoo 3. It’s a tight layout I would say it could fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. 4. The pool is seasonal- it’s not open all year round 5. The hot water tank is on its way out or it’s small. It didn’t bother us as it was just my husband and I . It would be an issue for those more than 2 who want to take a bath or shower back to back.

This is our second stay at Paula’s and it is peaceful and serene. A real decompress kind of setting. Don’t hesitate to book this little gem!!

Gramma Rikki and her Oasis on Friday Harbor are amazing. The property is a dream and she’s an amazing host and incredibly considerate. You won’t find a better place to stay on Friday Harbor!

We had a wonderful stay. Carlene was easy and quick to communicate such, the cottage had everything we needed, and we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view. The resort the cottage is part of was helpful since we had our 10-year-old with us. The pool is a big reason we booked here, and the lawn games were an extra bonus we hadn’t expected. We even got to see an otter below the marina dock on our first day - a perfect sighting in Otter Bay!

Super convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed gas fireplace, pool table and comfortable beds. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay here was truly amazing. We were in town for a family wedding which was fun but our stay at this beautiful oasis made it an even more memorable time. We loved all the various spaces available which provided ample space for all of our family (6 of us) to hang out together or just find a cozy space to read and relax. The home is very well appointed and stocked (kitchen supplies & equipment, toiletries, linens, towels) - everything you could think of needing was there. We were nervous about using the pizza oven but Louis and Tasha walked us through how to use it and our home made pizzas were a huge hit! The back yard was indeed a relaxing retreat with the waterfall and natural swim pond, including beautiful vegetation and flowers. The privacy of the space made you forget you were in the city! Our hosts definitely anticipated our every need. Pride of ownership was certainly evident. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Victoria!

A beautiful, very clean apartment in a wonderful location. The only wish would be is Air conditioning but large fans were provided and that was very nice
