My great-grandfather bought the land to make a small wooden house where his wife, my great-grandmother, could put her swimsuit in a private place. It was the beginning of the 20th century and people were starting to swim simply for pleasure. He finally decided to build a house and it was the first beach apartment in Puerto de Sóller; then everything was in the countryside and he was able to choose the best views and location of the entire promenade. The house is located in the center of Santa Margalida, in the upper part of the village, very close to the quiet central square and church square. It is a rehabilitation of an old house although architectural elements of its construction origin have been preserved in the 15th century, also preserving the character of the house with the furniture that we have made in the family. Santa Margalida is located eight kilometers from the sea, in front of Alcudia Bay.
