Holiday houses in Rutsiro

We had such a great time here! The view is spectacular, the food is wonderful, and the tent is so, so cosy! The staff are also very helpful - they worked with us to arrange both a boat trip, and a lovely hike through the surrounding hills and villages.

We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

I really appreciated the garden, the restaurant and the extremely nice staff (Eric, the lady from Reception and Security). It's beautiful in Inzu Logde. The food is great! What I didn't like is that you couldn't use the mosquito net because the shape of the tent doesn't allow it. And the mosquito repellent at the entrance could not be closed properly. So I got bitten a bit. Still, I would come back, the surroundings make up for everything!

The three nights spent at Emilienne's were the highlight of our trip to Rwanda. As soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed like at home. Emilienne shared her daily life, her stories, her work, in this house full of history. The surroundings are beautiful, the villagers welcoming and if you are lucky enough to stay during an activity offered to children, you will be even more won over! Thanks again Emilienne (as well as Marthe and Innocent), I don't know if we'll ever come back but we'll never forget Mushubati and these three days spent at your place!!

A simple "coastal retreat", Serguei's property is very nice with a private beach - a great place to escape to. Serguei was wonderful and attentive to our needs during our stay. We'll be back to escape again.

Inzu Lodge was an incredible experience all around! From the scenic view of the lake, to the beautiful arrangement of the grounds and the fantastic staff, Inzu felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity! Clean, decorated nicely, well-maintained, as well as an excellent food menu—-it’s a one stop shop!
