Family-friendly holiday rentals in Ruthin

Very remote and good break away from it all, around 15 minutes to the closest pub. Definitely worth stocking up on food and drinks to make it a fully remote experience. Great quality hot tub, clean cottage and had everything we needed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .. it was so tranquil and I loved listening to the birds! The hot tub was also amazing , with all the twinkly lights around it. It made it feel so special… Emma was an amazing host! Loved toasting those marshmallows btw

Such a great place - as a previous review said: if you are considering it definitely do it! like staying in your own mini hotel - so interesting and quirky - great for a mixed group Rugby Six Nations in the snug complete with real fire close to the bar for some, pool tournament for some and champagne in the hot tub for others😊 Such a fab way to spend a big birthday Saturday. Kitchen was fabulous and, with it previously being a professional kitchen, everything was so accessible and easy to find. Breakfast hamper most welcome. In house dining by Viki was a real treat for our Saturday night. The beds were SO comfy...and so many fluffy towels everywhere! lovely setting - and the walk up Grinshill, as recommended by the hosts, was a must for those that do.. All in all the whole place and experience far exceeded my expectations for my extended family 60th birthday celebrations.. The pictures do not do justice to the size of the place.. Looking forward to our next visit

We had a wonderful stay at Gary’s place. He’s a friendly host and it’s a really peaceful location. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony (which is covered, great for all weather) and watching the swans. The place is well-equipped for longer stays and we were able to cooks meals etc. Having two bathrooms was helpful too. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after days out exploring. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Gary!

Amazing! Caroline was extremely helpful prior to our arrival with lots of key information and helpful local tips. The accommodation was spotless! Beautifully present and very comfortable for our family of 5. The pictures do not do justice to for the size of the downstairs space. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and great to have two separate bathrooms and showers. The countryside surroundings were stunning and very relaxing spending evenings in the hot tub after long walks. We visited some great pubs and restaurants in the local area. Fabulous place with fabulous views and superb location. The photos give you a good idea but it is actually batter in real life! The attention to detail and the extras supplied if you need them are second to none. The place is an absolute gem that they have transformed over the last 13 years or so. Without doubt the best uk holiday home we have ever stopped in. 👏👏

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

6 friends and a dog, we went for some fresh air and peace and time to spend together and catch up. We did all of those things. The house was warm and comfortable. Beth had though of everything, and was very responsive if we had a question

Very quiet and peaceful location. Well appointed flat, cosy and easy to find. Corinne was proactive in providing check in details and making sure all was OK. The fresh milk and tea coffee were much appreciated on arrival due to December weather. Great transport links into the city by bus or train. The nearby Mersey waterside is impressive and only a short walk away. Would definitely return.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location with proactive friendly hosts. Our family group very much enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The photos really don't do it justice and we were pleasantly surprised with how big the house and garden actually were. Very well equipped with anything we could have needed during our stay and everything was extremely clean and excellent quality, which just made our stay so much more enjoyable than the airbnbs we've been in before. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Great location for exploring the mountains. Amazing cabin, really well looked after and super clean. Great sun trap patio, perfect for a glass of wine looking out at the mountains. Very much enjoyed a couple of visits from the cats too! Shower was really good, plenty of hot water just what was needed after days on the mountains. Really helpful and responsive prior to stay to provide info about EV charging and really accommodating and generous on our arrival. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Recently stayed over the bank holiday weekend arrived the house was super clean and ready on time. The lady on site was lovely, friendly and always happy to help. It’s close to Conwy and surrounding areas but far enough out that is quiet, the swimming pool is great and a big bonus. All I would say is it could have done with some plastic cups for the kids and coffee machine otherwise it was perfect we will definitely come back

We enjoyed our stay at Billie's. A wonderfully quiet place in beautiful surroundings. Billie is very hospitable and helpful. A dip in the pool topped it all off!

Just finished a two night stay at this fabulous cottage. we had the best time to just relax & spend time together. could dip in the pool when we wanted to or take in the beautiful views. Katherine is a great host & we hope to return to this great place of retreat for peace & serenity

Menna was great, always happy to heat the hot tub up for us! The little sleeping pods were comfortable with a really nice bed! And the location was brilliant, not too far from Snowdon which has the most amazing view! We had a fantastic time.

Very clean, very homely, beautiful location near a lovely town with so many cosy restaurants and bars. Had a lovely relaxing time. Only downside was the lack of working WiFi. Everything else was spot on. Thank you for a lovely stay

Tracy and James are excellent hosts. clear instructions of how yo use everything. delicious breakfast menu. very friendly. they also seem to have tamed a Robin that sometimes came to visit our bed like some of kind of Disney cartoon. Phenomenal views and perfect escape to rural Wales. surrounded by nature. easy drive to Snowden and tonnes of small villages with loads of nice foody pubs. we were there for new years and were gifted a bottle of prosecco. hot tub was really warm too which was a surprise as we visited in the middle of a storm in winter. thanks Tracy and James, for a lovely stay.

Fantastic couple of nights for a birthday relaxing treat. Great to be able to book the spa and pool for 2 hours a day to have all to ourselves. Recommend the various treatments by Wida as well.
