We booked Diane's beautiful cabin for our familyfriends from overseas that came to stay up north for our wedding. The cabin was only 5 minutes from our place which made it very convenient as they we're new to Whangarei. Diane is very communicative and greeted our guests on their arrival. They only had good things to say about their stay and they really enjoyed the clean and tidy cabin and of course the lovely peaceful surroundings of nature around as well. Thank you Diane for welcoming our dear family friends into your property. Definitely will book your place again 😊

Nice wee place in a rural setting with a nice large deck that looked out over a pond with birdlife etc. The driveway goes right behind the accommodation but the accommodation is situated a good distance away from the main house. A reasonable amount of kitchen stuff and one hotplate to make basic meals with which was good as we were staying longer than a night or two. Very straight forward to get into town from there as well.

Peta’s cabin is an absolute gem. It was spotless and had everything I needed to eat simply and sleep comfortably. It was great to wake up to the view of the bay every morning and watch the sun set on the decking at night. The drive into Paitia took just a few minutes and it was easy to get on the ferry to Russell or a boat trip further out into the bay. Peta was friendly and flexible and offered lots of useful advice. Highly recommended

Ian was a great host! We absolutely loved staying at his beautiful hidden garden. Ian allowed us to have friends over for a BBQ and even gave us extra furniture for them and had the BBQ set up for us. The room itself was great size and bathroom was nice and tidy as well. We loved staying here and will defiantly be back when we are in the area again!!!

Lavern was so welcoming and provided flowers and fruit on arrival. We had brought all our meals for the stay as we wanted a tranquil chill without using cars. An added bonus was the use of the kayaks which we really appreciate and gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful bay. We loved it.
