We loved our stay in Rotorua, the house was perfect for us, heaps of space and we loved the hot-tub! Super comfortable beds. Beautiful views of the lake, and gorgeous gardens, with a very private yard. A short drive to tons of local attractions. We would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Rotorua!

A wonderful stay! The host is kind and available. The place is beautiful, with an incredible view of the lake and direct access. The decor is tasteful, everything is clean, and the amenities provided are excellent. I highly recommend it!

We had a great weekend with plenty to do in Rotorua, it was great to return to accommodation and fully relax. We especially loved the spa (5stars) the temperature was perfect. The house was clean and beds were so comfortable.

Our group of 5 adults stayed during the Tarawera Ultramarathon weekend, and it was an outstanding experience! The house was spacious and comfortable -perfect for relaxing after the long race day - the spa pool was the icing on the cake! We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, inviting living area, and cozy bedrooms that helped us recharge. The location was ideal. It offered a peaceful retreat yet was conveniently close to the race venue and local attractions, and allowed us to travel around Rotorua with ease. The host was incredibly accommodating, welcoming and responsive, ensuring a smooth experience from booking to check-out. Highly recommended and will gladly book for next years event!

Great place to stay, and a great host who makes everything so easy. A clean tidy place which makes you feel right at home. Loads to do in the area with only short drives to Rotorua, Kawerau or Whakatane. But the absolute highlight for us was being able to relax in spa looking out over the stunning Lake Rotoma watching the sun set. Highly recommend.

We used Joss and Wayne's place for a team building retreat. It was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen for our self-catering, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Joss and Wayne were great hosts - showed us where everything was and then left us to it. As well as the great kitchen, there was also a lovely outside area with a BBQ for relaxing at night. Great venue. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here The view is fantastic and we had everything we needed. It is very family friendly, there is a box of toys for children, some board games and a garden to run around in. One of my group has some mobility issues so it helped that this place was mostly on one level, with only a few steps here and there. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need for preparing meals. It's the kind of place where kitchen items left from previous people are there so there were was cooking oil, salt and spices we could use. There is a coffee plunger and a mocha pot (bring your own ground coffee and milk) to use. The street is quiet, with the occasional bleating of sheep and safe. There is lots of space and three loos so good for groups. I would recommend this place and definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay with no issues. Debbie and Peter were great hosts - we were out at the motor racing during the day and we came back to a laid fire ready to go. Very easy communication and such a hassle free place to stay for a large group. Ideal for a large group of people if you want to just stay a bit out of the main Rotorua and Taupo destinations - close enough to go for dinner, relaxing and quiet otherwise. Would definitely look at staying again for future events in Taupo and Rotorua.

Amazing house with great views of lake. Easy access to Rotorua where there’s so much to do. House is really comfortable and so peaceful. So much nicer than the beach! Will definitely return.

Felt right at home!! Host were friendly and welcoming! Cozy, comfortable, spacious. Having the horses, chickens, and baby cows added a special touch that cannot be replicated. Would definitely come back

Quiet with an excellent hot tub. we had a great night and would recommend this stay! it was also nice to have the laundry. there's a well stocked kitchen for anybody who would be interested in staying for multiple days

Beautiful location. Friendly and responsive hosts. We really loved the access to the kayaks, the quick walk to the lake and the selection of board games. The house is bigger than we expected and we were able to comfortably fit 2 families. We do suggest a deep clean of the mattresses and blankets as one of our kids is covered in what has been diagnosed as bed bug bites. The yard is mostly sloped which you cannot tell by the photos - which made it not quite as baby friendly as we thought. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Steve and Nicole

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!

Great host, excellent house & great location. We stayed for New Years and could see the fireworks over the city. House and pool both clean and lovely.

We had a great day. Had travelling down for the Tarawera Ultra and it was the perfect base. Very kid friendly, great spa and quiet rear site. Would definitely stay again.
